Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

”What about Tang Haofei?”

Wen Yu is easy to deal with, after all, the handle of rebirth is too big, but Tang Haofei is definitely a headache.

Earth’s will wants to balance the power between the two, letting Wen Yu and Tang Haofei perish together, breaking the seeds left by the Dominator and Demon Lord, but Old Tang’s reaction indirectly countered Earth’s will’s good plan.

These two guys were standing there, secretly discussing how to solve the problem of the two reborners. From the look of it, they seemed united in heart and mind...

It didn’t take long before the two came up with a strategy — deal with Wen Yu first... Well, it was the Demigod’s suggestion just now. As for Tang Haofei’s issue, it can only be postponed. Actually, this solution makes sense, given the situation, Wen Yu’s trouble is much greater than Tang Haofei’s...

It can be foretold that once this thing is thrown to the Dominator, Wen Yu will undoubtedly face death calamity within a few hours!

But how does the saying go? If there’s someone inside, things go well. Here at Earth’s will, it’s not just a one-man show for the Demigod.

Unexpectedly, a voice interrupted their conversation: ”Let’s hold off for now, I have a way to deal with both Wen Yu and Tang Haofei.”

As soon as the voice fell, a figure emerged from the distant passage and flew straight over.

It’s Bai.

...

Seeing Bai, Earth’s will and the Demigod promptly stopped the topic.

The Demigod didn’t know Bai’s background, but Earth’s will had some guesses—the guy was not a native of Earth at all.

To be honest, Earth’s will was in a rather awkward situation now. Sea King and Skyray were loyal, but the mutant beasts enlightened too late. Even if their intellect was no less than ordinary people, they couldn’t give good advice on certain matters—just two violent henchmen.

Walter and Ye Nan had decent strength, but their minds were not sufficient and not loyal enough to me.

The Demigod was excellent in every way, which is why Earth’s will valued the Demigod.

As for Bai... everything about him was good, but being not a native Earth life was enough for Earth’s will to place him outside the core.

However, from a certain extent, Earth’s will still valued Bai—at least considered him a qualified chess piece, and his methods were no less than the Demigod, also considered another external brain for Earth’s will.

”Let’s hold off for now, I have a way to deal with both Wen Yu and Tang Haofei.”

Bai approached the Demigod and repeated the statement, then began to speak eloquently: ”Resolving Wen Yu will take a while, if the Dominator handles Wen Yu now, the destruction caused on Earth would be beyond anyone’s estimate. Wen Yu, if nothing else, has quite a few subordinates. If Wen Yu wants a desperate gamble at the last moment, no one will benefit.”

”Thinking about it that way makes sense...”

The Demigod nodded in agreement, the number of soul puppets estimated by those present, once the Dominator handles Wen Yu, who knows what kind of unexpected situation will occur.

However, this issue is itself a probability problem, perhaps the Dominator could instantly kill Wen Yu... What Bai described is just a possibility, and now, he just wants to maximize this possibility...

”According to my intelligence, the second Sequence Member-Ranking Battle is about to begin, and the reward for Sequence Number 1 this time is most likely the tiered battle ground. I think waiting until the tiered battle ground appears and dealing with Wen Yu there would be a better option.”

Hearing this, the Demigod nodded.

”Of course, this is only one aspect, in fact, I am confident I can solve both Wen Yu and Tang Haofei, but it will take some time. If you trust me with this matter, I will present you with a satisfactory answer.”

After Bai finished, he cupped his hands towards Earth’s will, his attitude inexplicably humble, which made Earth’s will, who had just been humiliated by Tang Haofei, feel deeply gratified.

A truly good chess piece indeed...

”Alright, then we’ll do as you say!”

Earth’s will was very assured of Bai’s ability to get things done!

”Time, how long do you need to take care of Wen Yu and Tang Haofei?”

The Demigod asked with a frown.

”Before Level 8! Before reaching Level 8, I will surely take care of Wen Yu and Tang Haofei.”

Bai made a firm and confident commitment.

The Demigod and Earth’s will exchanged a glance and nodded simultaneously.

”Okay.”

This amount of time could be afforded by Earth’s will. Actually, according to current intelligence, as long as Wen Yu was cleared before reaching Level 10, it would not affect the overall situation. Plus, Bai’s promise to ”solve Tang Haofei and Wen Yu together” indeed tempted Earth’s will.

The plan was to let Sequence Number 1 and Sequence Number 2 neutralize each other anyway; perishing together would be ideal—Earth’s will naturally interpreted ”solve Tang Haofei and Wen Yu together” as ”perish together”, and timing was not an issue, dealing now or at Level 8, as long as the intelligence about Wen Yu was passed on to the Dominator, in Earth’s will’s perspective, Wen Yu would absolutely have no escape route.

Exchanging some inconsequential time and waiting for an opportunity to solve Tang Haofei, this deal was worth it...

So Earth’s will immediately decided: ”I’ll leave this to you, Bai, don’t let me down.”

”I certainly won’t fail you.”

Bai bowed once again, cupping his hands, and Earth’s will emitted a seemingly joyful emotional fluctuation, while the Demigod squinted at the side for a moment, a light sigh in his heart.

Bai must have another agenda of his own, the Demigod could guess that, letting Wen Yu and Tang Haofei neutralize each other, such troublesome matters with Bai’s character, he would never take them on himself actively, where there’s abnormality, there’s a demon, this is something Earth’s will couldn’t see...

But then again, why should it matter... or rather, what does it have to do with me?

Loyalty? Faith? Don’t joke, we’re all adults here, and without interest, no flowery words would sway me. Staying by Earth’s will is not because of some so-called loyalty, the so-called fighting for you... whatever happens to Wen Yu and Tang Haofei has nothing to do with the Demigod, the current situation is looking great for the Demigod, following the plan will achieve my objectives, no need to offend Bai over such trifles.

Regarding Bai, the Demigod paid a lot of attention, his mind and strength no less than mine, well, let’s find some time to have a talk with this guy.

Earth’s will waved a big hand: ”Demigod, instruct others not to disclose Wen Yu and Tang Haofei’s matters for now, leave it to Bai to handle.”

”Do a good job, and after taking care of Wen Yu and Tang Haofei, I surely won’t be stingy!”

Earth’s will said so, then slowly dissipated, leaving only the Demigod and Bai to exchange glances, and after a while, both showed a knowing smile.

Smiling on the face, cursing in the heart...
