Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Joining Chen Wen’s team, his strength accounts for forty percent of the group’s attraction.

Whereas his taming ability captivates fifty percent of the group’s interest!

Therefore, when they heard Chen Wen would demonstrate his taming skills, everyone got excited.

Hua Yun asked, ”Is it as smart as the Golden Eagle?”

Adam said, ”How do you plan to tame it?”

Dennis said, ”How can we help?”

Fred nodded silently, indicating he could help too.

Seeing everyone more excited than himself, Chen Wen was a bit bewildered.

No, why are you all more excited than I am?

He scratched his head and said, ”Indeed, it’s somewhat similar to the Golden Eagle we encountered in the Yukon, but it’s likely even more cunning.”

”As for taming it, I do need your help, but Adam alone is enough. After you trade for the grain in the afternoon, Adam and I will handle it when we set up bird traps.”

Upon hearing this, everyone got busy immediately.

Fred and Dennis took some roasted camel meat, eating while walking, intending to use camel hides for trading.

Adam and Hua Yun seized the chance to cut meat, busying themselves with making smoked meat.

This left Chen Wen idle.

He shook his head, ”Fine, you all keep busy, I’ll just have something to eat.”

Meanwhile, he acquired the entry for the wasp.

Taking a dead wasp from his backpack, Chen Wen placed it by the campfire to roast.

After a while, when the wasp’s body turned black from the roasting.

Chen Wen used a stick to pick the wasp out from the campfire.

He cleaned the charred parts of the wasp with his hands, carefully removing the hard mandibles and other inedible parts.

”Are you going to eat that?”

Hua Yun asked Chen Wen, unable to resist.

As someone who’s never eaten roasted insects, Hua Yun found it hard to accept.

Even though she was a survivor.

”Yeah, it should taste good, it smells quite nice, do you want to try?”

”No, no.”

Hua Yun replied, shaking her head and quickly distancing herself.

Chen Wen shook his head, couldn’t help but say, ”This thing is really high in protein, you’ll know when you lack protein.”

Saying so, he swallowed the cleaned wasp in one gulp, briefly chewing to savor the burst of juice.

”Crunchy and tastes like chicken, protein dozens of times more than beef.”

Chen Wen gave a thumbs up, reciting an old joke.

Hua Yun couldn’t help but laugh, tossing Chen Wen’s water bottle over: ”Rinse your mouth, your teeth are turning black.”

Catching the water bottle, Chen Wen shook his head: ”Ah, but I’m serious, this stuff tastes quite good.”

After having a sip of water.

Chen Wen half-closed his eyes, pretending to rest, but actually started selecting entries.

[Looting the creation of nature—ordinary yellow wasp!]

[Looting... looting completed!]

[Please choose one of the following three entries]

[Irritable (Purple): Your temper worsens, you get angry more easily]

[Note: What are you looking at?! — Ordinary Yellow Wasp]

[Hive (Purple): You are better at building shelters, your shelters will be as solid as hives, when building shelters relying on walls, cliffs, and other animal nests, the stability effect is enhanced]

[Note: The hive, the crystallization of our wisdom! — Ordinary Yellow Wasp]

[Stinger (Ordinary Yellow Wasp) (Purple): You gain a new organ — stinger, which can release venom. ps: Organ entry, you can enable or disable this entry, your body will automatically adapt to the new organ, and the new organ will also adapt to your body]

[Note: This stinger, twenty years of skill! Can you handle it? — Ordinary Yellow Wasp]

[Please make a choice within one minute or give up! Missing the deadline will automatically select the first entry!]

This time, there was no real choice in the entries.

[Stinger] was an organ entry Chen Wen had selected before, provided by a desert peak entry, which was golden.

So Chen Wen could only choose [Hive], the entry enhancing building ability.

It also enriched his shelter-building methods.

After choosing the entry, Chen Wen rested for a while.

Then he got up to help Hua Yun with processing camel meat.

This time, they had a lot of camels, and the group was considering whether to slaughter one more, to exchange for more goods and increase food reserves at the same time.

While Chen Wen and Hua Yun were analyzing whether it was worth it.

Fred and Dennis, who went to exchange goods, came back.

However, the grain they brought back was far less than Chen Wen estimated.

”Why is there so little? Were you robbed?”

Chen Wen stood up, eyes serious.

Hearing this, Fred shook his head, gloomy.

Next to him, Dennis explained, ”No, it’s not because of other teams robbing, but because the locals don’t want to trade anymore.”

After hearing Dennis’s explanation, Chen Wen felt somewhat helpless.

Last night, the fight at the starting point startled the locals, their impression of this round of survivors dropped to the extreme.

Moreover, the Japanese team was constantly promoting that the chaos last night was caused by Chen Wen.

The natives over there also learned about the situation of Chen Wen’s team.

So, today, for Fred and Dennis trading for goods, there naturally wasn’t any friendliness from the locals.

Even because of Fred’s build, a local girl cried out of fright upon seeing him, which further diminished the locals’ patience with Fred.

If it weren’t for Dennis speaking in a native dialect and reasoning, they might not have even gotten that much grain.

Hearing this, Chen Wen’s expression was quite vivid.

”Forget it, having some is better than none; about the locals...”

Chen Wen scratched his head, temporarily out of solutions.

After all, he hadn’t gone to see the situation in person, and the locals weren’t competitors.

If you dared to anger them, they wouldn’t care about your reasoning, with their home-equipped shotguns ready to be loaded.

But the Japanese team...

Chen Wen’s eyes flashed dangerously.

If he had done it himself, Chen Wen wouldn’t be so angry at their actions.

But the problem was, the chaos last night had nothing to do with Chen Wen at all!

When the Japanese team did this now, there was a problem!

Chen Wen snorted coldly, thinking: You guys are ruthless; don’t blame me for being ruthless and ruthless!

After getting the grain, Chen Wen and Adam packed up their things.

The two immediately set off with supplies and tools, planning to set up bird traps first, then return and raid the wasp nest under the cover of night.

...

After the two left.

Back at the camp, under Hua Yun’s direction, Fred also started roasting and smoking the remaining camel meat.

Dennis, meanwhile, took the camel’s stomach and headed toward the starting point.

While cleaning and processing the stomach pouch, he filled it with water to bring back.

The camp was bustling once more.

...

Over by Chen Wen.

He and Adam quickly arrived near the hill.

Here, the number of wasps increased visibly compared to the morning.

”The sky’s getting dark, the wasps that were out hunting are starting to return to the nest.”

Chen Wen looked at the wasps and said, ”Let’s go; the best time to act is when it’s completely dark.”

Adam nodded in agreement.

If they acted now, they wouldn’t even make it over before getting stung silly by the returning wasps.

The two circled around the wasps, heading to the small oasis where Chen Wen had arrived in the morning.

There, Adam used grain to set up the bird traps.
