Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Hadn’t walked far.

Feng Zhong suddenly frowned and stopped Xu Qiang.

He looked troubled and said, ”My stomach feels a bit uncomfortable. Hiss, maybe something was wrong with the food we ate this morning, or else...”

These words startled everyone.

This morning everyone ate together. If there was really an issue with the food, that would be troublesome!

Xu Qiang said seriously, ”Feng Zhong, are you serious?”

”Why would I lie to you!”

Feng Zhong said as he couldn’t help but take a few deep breaths, looking like he was in severe pain.

He immediately had Ding Jinyu support him to a nearby bush, seemingly to take care of some personal business.

Xu Qiang hissed, recalling the morning’s meal, ”We all ate the same thing this morning, and it was fresh food provided by the Australian Association. How could it possibly upset your stomach? Plus... I don’t feel anything! What about you guys?”

Chen Wen shook his head slightly, looking pensive.

After shaking his head, Hua Yun speculated, ”Could it be some food allergy causing Feng Zhong’s problem?”

But at this moment, Chen Wen suddenly chuckled.

This laugh immediately drew Xu Qiang and Hua Yun’s attention.

”What’s going on?”

Hua Yun asked.

Chen Wen waved his hand, signaling the two to come closer discreetly.

Then he whispered, ”There’s nothing wrong with the food; the problem is with the people!”

”I just figured it out; Feng Zhong and Ding Jinyu are stalling for time!”

Saying this, Chen Wen sneered, ”Ding Jinyu is Feng Zhong’s good buddy; no way their opinions wouldn’t align?”

”What happened with Mr. Xu before was just an act for us!”

Upon hearing Chen Wen’s words, Xu Qiang and Hua Yun frowned.

A moment later, Xu Qiang nodded, ”Indeed, I think I’ve been used.”

Hua Yun also said, ”It seems they have reached an agreement with the Japanese team. The team setting off after us is the Japanese team. The five members of the Japanese team won’t be separated; their president is here too. It looks like they’re planning to take us out. What do we do now?”

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen glanced over at the place where Feng Zhong and Ding Jinyu were hiding.

Though Chen Wen’s starting item this time didn’t enhance his vision, his eyesight wasn’t poor.

He chuckled lightly and said, ”These two are really committing to the act, even pulling down their pants. Let’s run!”

”Mr. Xu, you go grab Ding Jinyu’s camel. Hua Yun, you lead the way; I’ll grab Feng Zhong’s camel!”

Chen Wen quickly recalled the map he had seen before and said, ”Let’s not go to the starting point for now. Listen to me; let’s head to the nearby artificial forest. I’ve got some good ideas!”

Hearing this, Hua Yun naturally followed Chen Wen’s lead.

After some thought, Xu Qiang laughed, ”Alright, I’ll listen to you this time. Damn it, Feng Zhong must pay for this!”

The three of them moved as slowly as usual.

To cover their purpose, Chen Wen even loudly discussed with Xu Qiang whether a particular meat dish from the morning wasn’t fresh, causing Feng Zhong’s issue.

Over by the bushes.

Feng Zhong and Ding Jinyu heard this and secretly laughed.

Feng Zhong whispered, ”Old Ding, when enough time has been wasted, I’ll head back. You find a chance to contact Matsui Reika and tell them to hurry up!”

Ding Jinyu nodded slightly, ”Alright, be careful. Besides, we just need to stall Xu Qiang and Hua Yun this time. Try to avoid provoking Chen Wen, collaborating with the Japanese team is already a bit... you get what I mean, right?”

Hearing this, Feng Zhong nodded, ”I understand. Don’t worry, I won’t provoke that Chen Wen kid; there’ll be plenty of chances to deal with him!”

The two went silent briefly, intending to continue speaking.

Not far away.

Hua Yun led the way, pulling a camel and racing into the distance.

The one-humped camel wasn’t slow once it started running, its long and powerful legs stepping on the desert ground swiftly kicking up!

Behind, Chen Wen and Xu Qiang grabbed two camels too, following Hua Yun closely without a word.

Hearing the commotion from over here, Feng Zhong and Ding Jinyu looked over, surprised.

Seeing the three people and six camels rushing away, neither of them reacted immediately.

”What... is going on?”

Ding Jinyu was dumbfounded, ”Why did they run? Is there some danger?”

Feng Zhong was also confused, ”No, even if there’s danger, they should at least call us, right?”

Talking, the two looked at each other in dismay.

A moment later, Feng Zhong suddenly reacted, ”No! Damn it! They must have figured it out!”

He hurriedly stood up, clumsily pulling his pants back on.

Feng Zhong’s expression turned extremely ugly as he quickly said, ”Chase! Our three days of food is all on the camels, we can’t let them take it!”

Upon hearing this, Ding Jinyu decisively gave up on waiting for Feng Zhong.

He immediately dashed out of the bushes, chasing after Chen Wen.

Seeing Ding Jinyu coming for him, Chen Wen immediately said, ”Ding Jinyu, your camel is with Xu Qiang, don’t fucking come looking for me!”

Hearing this, Ding Jinyu paused for a second, his pace slowing down.

Seeing Ding Jinyu’s hesitation, Chen Wen continued, ”This is a solo competition! Are you willing to ruin your chances for Feng Zhong? Stop chasing me, or I’ll really make a move!”

Saying this, Chen Wen whistled, and the tawny-flanked eagle soared into the sky.

With a free hand, Chen Wen started reaching for his long spear.

Seeing this, Ding Jinyu gritted his teeth and decisively abandoned Chen Wen, turning to sprint towards Xu Qiang instead.

Behind.

Feng Zhong also hurriedly pulled on his pants.

He cursed Chen Wen for his treachery while quickly pursuing, showing no signs of the previous diarrhea.

The chase began just like that.

...

Over at Hua Yun’s side.

She checked the map provided by the association, confirming the direction, ”That artificial forest is vast and lush. Hiding there should be no problem, but what exactly is Chen Wen planning?”

Shaking her head, Hua Yun glanced back.

With a camel, Xu Qiang’s speed was much slower, and at this moment, Ding Jinyu had caught up to him.

However, Xu Qiang was prepared.

As soon as Ding Jinyu caught up, Xu Qiang tossed the camel’s reins onto Ding Jinyu, ”Here! You better think about whether what you did was decent this time!”

Saying this, Xu Qiang immediately detached from the group, heading toward the starting point.

Chen Wen had previously discussed with Xu Qiang.

If Xu Qiang got caught, he’d bring Ding Jinyu to the starting point and wait.

On one hand, Chen Wen needed to let his group members—Adam and them—know what happened.

On the other hand, Chen Wen also needed Xu Qiang to be his eyes at the starting point.

Hearing Xu Qiang’s words, Ding Jinyu showed a hesitant expression.

”Xu Qiang, wait for me!”

After thinking for a moment, Ding Jinyu decided not to further involve himself in Feng Zhong’s matters.

He quickly caught up with Xu Qiang, saying coldly, ”Feng Zhong’s actions are not decent, what does it have to do with me? I’m going with you to the starting point; whatever’s happening over there, I don’t know.”

Xu Qiang sneered, but didn’t say more.

Taking Ding Jinyu away and not letting him get involved in what happens next was already the extent of what Xu Qiang could do.

The two said nothing, just heading straight to the starting point.

As for what might happen next with Chen Wen, it was no longer their concern.

And shortly after the two left.

Over at Chen Wen’s side, Feng Zhong, panting heavily, caught up.
