Wilderness Survival with Druid System

After selecting the entry.

Chen Wen chatted with his new teammates for a while.

It’s everyone’s first time working together, so chatting more can quickly bring them closer.

Reduce unfamiliarity.

That is Chen Wen’s purpose.

Moreover, Chen Wen’s teammates are all relatively easygoing people.

Fred is very honest, although sometimes he can get irritable, he quickly calms down.

Adam has a very good temper.

He almost never gets angry unless he’s forced to.

Dennis is quite lively, feeling like the team’s happy-go-lucky person and mood booster.

With him around, the atmosphere never goes cold.

Hua Yun has a generous personality, somewhat like a man, but also with the unique sensitivity and gentleness of a woman.

She’s also an adjustment to the team.

As for Chen Wen himself, he feels he’s like most ordinary people.

As long as no one provokes him, he’s not the type to explode at a moment’s notice.

Therefore, after a night of chatting.

Everyone felt the distance between them had decreased, and they talked more harmoniously.

...

When Chen Wen and his team started taking turns to rest and keep night watch.

At the starting point.

The contestants, who had been busy all day, also began to rest.

Unlike usual, this time the contestants kept night watch while resting and remained vigilant.

With more people, the level of trust between everyone decreased sharply.

The level of vigilance against each other also increased.

So at the slightest disturbance, everyone would be alerted, and in severe cases, it could cause a stress response.

Therefore, at night.

Each team’s captain was admonishing their members, telling them to be careful not to make overly loud noises.

And warning them not to enter other teams’ areas.

Those who received the warning indeed did so initially.

Under everyone’s caution, the first half of the night at the starting point remained peaceful.

Everyone adhered to the rules, no one voluntarily went to other camps to provoke, and no one made a sound.

But this peace ended in the latter half of the night.

The cause was simple.

Over at the Japan team, Shijing Heren was in charge of night watch.

He sat by the campfire, thinking about the afternoon’s events.

To be honest, Shijing Heren was somewhat suspicious of Feng Zhong’s situation.

He felt that Feng Zhong wasn’t as reliable as he seemed on the surface; on the contrary, Shijing Heren thought Feng Zhong was very deep-minded.

He even felt that Feng Zhong’s trip here was specifically to mess with their Japan team.

After all, ever since Feng Zhong came, he hadn’t suffered any loss himself, except for food and camels, and if Feng Zhong had teamed up with Chen Wen to stage a bitter ruse, then he had almost no loss.

In contrast, they accepted Feng Zhong, didn’t gain any benefit, but instead lost two contestants and a large number of materials and tools, even two camels!

This made Shijing Heren have to suspect Feng Zhong’s purpose.

Just as Shijing Heren was lost in thought.

In the camp, the newly joined Ding Jinyu came out.

He nodded to Shijing Heren and pointed outside, seemingly to go to the bathroom.

At this moment, as Shijing Heren was pondering about Feng Zhong, seeing Ding Jinyu, he immediately had suspicions.

Once a seed of suspicion is planted, it doesn’t need watering, and it will root and sprout.

Although Shijing Heren nodded, indicating Ding Jinyu could leave.

He quietly noted down Ding Jinyu’s behavior in his mind.

Ding Jinyu didn’t go out just to go to the bathroom.

Participating in the Desert Extreme Challenge, he initially planned to cooperate with Australia.

Although he had a good relationship with Feng Zhong, when it came to survival, Ding Jinyu still trusted the members of the Australian Association he had previously survived with more.

Therefore, after being forcibly pulled into the Japan team by Feng Zhong.

Ding Jinyu considered telling Australia to have them take him away.

This way, he wouldn’t have to fall out with Feng Zhong and could also participate in the Desert Extreme Challenge with Australia.

So, under the cover of night.

Ding Jinyu quietly made his way to the Australia side.

...

”Who!”

In the Australian Survival Association’s camp, a contestant on night watch called out cautiously.

As he shouted, he also brandished his weapon.

In the silent night, his shout immediately alerted quite a few people.

Ding Jinyu, who was sneaking over under the cover of night, changed his expression and whispered, ”It’s me, Ding Jinyu!”

The night-watch contestant was taken aback; he was an old acquaintance of Ding Jinyu as well. ”Old Ding? Why are you here? Weren’t you collaborating with the Japanese?”

Hearing this, Ding Jinyu responded very helplessly, ”It’s because you didn’t come; something happened on our side, and Feng Zhong forced me to join the Japan team, I couldn’t refuse.”

Speaking, Ding Jinyu was invited to sit by the campfire by the night-watch contestant.

After discussing for a while, Ding Jinyu shared his thoughts.

The night-watch contestant thought briefly and agreed to it.

After all, Ding Jinyu is a skilled archer, and there was no one in the Australia side good at archery; on the Kimberley Plateau, Ding Jinyu’s archery skills could be of great help, and he was also trustworthy.

To offend the Japanese team for Ding Jinyu was no big deal.

After discussing some more details, Ding Jinyu bid farewell and decided to take his supplies and leave the Japanese team.

But when he returned, he was faced with an enraged Shijing Heren.

”Damn it, don’t come over!”

Shijing Heren immediately raised his bow and arrow upon seeing Ding Jinyu.

Ding Jinyu was taken aback, but he quickly understood, ”Put down the bow and arrow, I don’t want to get involved in your affairs, I’m back just to take my things and leave, there’s no need for us to have a conflict.”

Upon hearing this, Shijing Heren shouted angrily, ”Impossible! Traitor! You people from Hua Country are all like this! Including that Feng Zhong, he also betrayed us!”

Feng Zhong betrayed them?

Ding Jinyu was a bit dumbfounded, was Feng Zhong playing like this?

Did he even sell out the Japan team?

Sighing, Ding Jinyu raised his hand and said, ”Brother, I don’t know about your affairs with Feng Zhong, and I don’t want to know, I just want to take my things.”

Shijing Heren snorted and said, ”Impossible! You either leave now, or wait for me to eliminate you!”

”Damn it, Japanese! Did I provoke you? Why make it so hard for me!”

Ding Jinyu was suddenly angry.

Even a clay figurine has a bit of temper; being targeted like this by the Japanese, he had already been holding back anger, plus they wanted to seize his supplies and camels.

This is intolerable!

Ding Jinyu shouted angrily, ”Give me my stuff!”

Seeing Ding Jinyu angry, Shijing Heren wouldn’t let it slide.

He immediately pulled back his bowstring and with a swoosh shot an arrow.

Fortunately, Ding Jinyu was prepared and dodged just in time to avoid the arrow.

He broke out in a sweat and shouted angrily, ”You actually dared to shoot me! Damn it!”

In his fury, Ding Jinyu retaliated.

But just then, the arrow that Shijing Heren had shot arced through the night sky and, coincidentally, landed in the Portuguese camp in the distance.

Although it didn’t hit anyone, the arrow thudded onto the beam of the Portuguese shelter.

The resting Portuguese were immediately awakened, and the attack ignited their wrath.

”Who dares to attack us! They must pay the price!”

”I feel it’s the British! We had a conflict with them last time, they’re sneaky!”

”Let’s get them!”

Accompanied by chaotic shouting, chaos ensued.
