Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Aside from the three desert treasures and the new three items, Chen Wen also chose several entries suitable for combat based on the current situation.

The first one is [Status Suppression].

The effect is similar to [Intimidation], but it can only be used against other human contestants.

Actively induces fear in the opponent.

Those who have been defeated by Chen Wen, like Yoshikawa Feng and Feng Zhong, would experience a stronger fear effect under the suppression of this entry.

It’s a relatively useful skill in PvP.

The second one is [Thorn], which is considered Chen Wen’s exclusive enhancement entry.

It boosts the lethality of javelins for ranged attacks and improves the combat ability of long spears in close combat.

Chen Wen felt that this entry would be an essential choice in future Eight Extremes Challenges.

Then, considering the venomous insects and snakes of the desert, Chen Wen also chose two entries.

These two entries were obtained from the trip to Caprivi.

One is [Purification] provided by the water lily.

Soaking in water, it can slowly expel toxins, reduce fatigue, and improve spirit and mood.

This entry has limited use in the desert.

But once on the Kimberley Plateau, the effect of this entry would be terrifying.

Besides, Chen Wen also brought [Insect Repellent] from the manjak tree.

It’s used to deal with desert venomous insects, as well as the mosquitoes of the oasis and Kimberley Plateau.

Chen Wen chose ten entries this time, all of which were paid.

It was the first time ever.

The ten entries cost Chen Wen 530 Inheritance Points in total.

If it weren’t for the large amount of Inheritance Points provided by the recent wilderness solitary living, he wouldn’t have dared to make such a choice.

Finally, after Chen Wen chose the entries.

His Inheritance Points quickly dropped from 714 to 184.

Looking at the remaining Inheritance Points, Chen Wen felt bitter, but he could only comfort himself: The Inheritance Points haven’t disappeared, they’ve just transformed into another form accompanying me!

After choosing the entries, Chen Wen decisively activated the self-restriction function.

This time he didn’t even bring an entry given by an animal friend, he had to self-restrict!

Double free experience, why not take it!

On the system side, as the interface changed.

The survival officially began!

Opening his eyes, Chen Wen looked at the four people who followed behind him.

Xu Qiang identified the direction and said, ”Feng Zhong, you lead the way, let’s go to the starting point and wait for others to come, and by the way, slaughter a camel.”

As he spoke, Xu Qiang straightforwardly said, ”We’ll take a little less camel meat for the three of us, leave the camel stomachs to Chen Wen and the other two, let them carry them as water pouches.”

There’s nothing wrong with these words.

As the initial team, although we are about to go our separate ways, the luggage should still be divided.

Chen Wen nodded and said, ”Okay, we are all from Hua Country, everyone can take a portion of the camel meat, and according to Mr. Xu’s suggestion, leave us the camel stomachs, you are going to the new team, they certainly also need camel stomachs as water pouches.”

Hua Yun had no objections either.

But at this moment, Ding Jinyu and Feng Zhong exchanged a glance.

The two had other ideas!

Ding Jinyu put on a kind face.

He said with a smile, ”This matter is negotiable, all is negotiable.”

But Feng Zhong had a scowl on his face, directly expressing his dissatisfaction: ”No way! There are four camel stomachs in total, only three usable, I think since we are splitting into three groups, we should also divide the camel stomachs!”

Feng Zhong’s words made Chen Wen, Hua Yun, and Xu Qiang all frown.

According to the default rules of previous years.

No team has ever split the camel stomachs, regardless of the internal conflicts.

After all, everyone still belongs to the national team, even if survival is not together due to conflicts or if they joined other teams outside.

However, the camel stomachs are left for the national team.

Xu Qiang straightforwardly cursed: ”Damn it Feng Zhong, your grandfather is a traitor, are you a traitor too? Is the traitor’s mark passed down through bloodline?”

”Don’t think we don’t know, you’ve teamed up with the little devils! What? Not only teaming up with them but also wanting to steal from your own people? Do you have no shame!”

Xu Qiang’s curses were quite harsh!

Feng Zhong’s face turned dark immediately.

He cursed in his heart, why did Chen Wen bring this loudmouth, Xu Qiang, into the team.

But in a way, it was good because it solved some issues.

Feng Zhong suppressed his anger, putting on a shameful and angry look: ”Xu Qiang! Are you looking for death!”

Ding Jinyu saw the situation and immediately said, ”Come on, come on, it’s tough for everyone, let’s each take a step back.”

Neither Xu Qiang nor Feng Zhong paid attention to Ding Jinyu’s attempt to mediate.

Chen Wen and Hua Yun watched from the side, both a bit surprised.

One surprise was Feng Zhong suddenly causing a scene.

According to logic, he should have waited until they passed the starting point to cause trouble, wouldn’t he?

Why so impatient?

The other surprise was Ding Jinyu.

Isn’t this guy a core member of Feng Zhong’s small group?

Why didn’t he seem to reach an agreement with Feng Zhong?

Before the two could think more, they saw Xu Qiang about to make a move on Feng Zhong.

Chen Wen immediately shouted: ”Stop! Trying to make others laugh at us now?”

”Mr. Xu Qiang, didn’t you remember what the president instructed?”

Hearing this, Xu Qiang snorted coldly, pushed away the pulling Ding Jinyu.

Xu Qiang took a breather, looked at Chen Wen, his tone already calmed down: ”I remember, don’t initiate a fight with your own, but seriously Chen Wen, to be honest, this Feng Zhong isn’t our own anymore!”

”If needed, the three of us can team up to take him out first!”

This suggestion immediately tempted Chen Wen.

He instinctively looked at Feng Zhong.

Feeling Chen Wen’s gaze, Feng Zhong shivered.

As someone who had faced Chen Wen in direct conflict, Feng Zhong was well aware of Chen Wen’s combat abilities.

He was like a humanoid tyrannosaurus!

His power and speed were completely overwhelming!

Feng Zhong immediately became alert, pondering whether he went too far in his act.

At the same time, he stepped back a few paces and took out his weapon.

Feng Zhong slowly said, ”The president is right, I was just angry, but now that I think about it, the camel stomachs shouldn’t be split; after all, we are still one group.”

After speaking, under Feng Zhong’s signal, Ding Jinyu also drew out his dagger and hung it at his waist.

The two of them stood together, watching Chen Wen and the other two with vigilance.

This scene was captured by the drone and transmitted through the signal to survival associations across various countries.

In Hua Country, Liu Yu watched this scene, slapping the table angrily.

”This Feng Zhong! Previously, he just seemed to like what goes on in politics more, but now it seems, this man is truly problematic!”

Next to him.

Zhao, who wasn’t participating in the Eight Extremes Challenge temporarily, also wore a displeased face.

He straightforwardly said, ”After this challenge, I propose to dismiss Feng Zhong from his vice-chairman position!”

Hearing this, Liu Yu nodded and said, ”If he doesn’t pass the Desert Extreme Challenge, together with what he just said, his vice-chairman position will surely be stripped!”

However, if this Feng Zhong passes the Desert Extreme Challenge.

According to the association’s rules, his vice-chairman position cannot be removed.

After all, the association has always followed the principle of the strong dominating!

Though it seems inappropriate in modern society, the survival association recognizes this principle.

”Let’s wait and see; since Feng Zhong dared to make such a scene, he must have his plans. It’s up to Chen Wen to see through Feng Zhong or not.”

...

In the Great Sand Desert.

With Feng Zhong causing a scene, a lot of time was wasted.

Chen Wen didn’t choose to eliminate Feng Zhong.

After all, he was just talking trash.

It wouldn’t look good if he made the first move.

Moreover, they couldn’t cause too much trouble at this moment.

Hence, he asked Xu Qiang to identify the direction, then immediately headed towards the starting point in the northwest.

But after only a few steps, Feng Zhong started to make trouble again!
