Wilderness Survival with Druid System

After the entire team set off.

The starting point gradually became lively.

Initially, Xu Qiang and Ding Jinyu arrived, each occupying one side of the starting point, ignoring each other.

After a while, Feng Zhong and the Japanese team arrived.

Feng Zhong didn’t look happy upon seeing Ding Jinyu.

Ding Jinyu awkwardly walked over, explained the situation briefly, and only then did Feng Zhong’s expression improve somewhat.

Feng Zhong introduced Ding Jinyu to the Japanese team.

The Japanese team needed strong combat power to join them, so they quickly hit it off and formed a new team.

However, Xu Qiang was somewhat surprised to see the Japanese team with reduced numbers.

Did Chen Wen intervene?

The Japanese team had actually lost two members!

Seeing the hostile gaze from Matsui Reika, Xu Qiang couldn’t help but take a deep breath.

How did Chen Wen achieve it?

One against six, and he directly took out two!

After a while, the Russian team arrived.

Oleg knew Xu Qiang, but he was well aware of Xu Qiang’s temperament, so he just nodded amicably without saying much.

Later on, more people arrived one after another.

As everyone gathered together, it was already noon.

The group discussed and decided to use the shade around the starting point as the dividing line, dividing the area into nine portions.

Each team occupied one of them.

However, on the Hua Country Team’s side, only Xu Qiang was left, which surprised many national teams.

Someone came over to ask about the situation.

But Xu Qiang himself couldn’t say where Chen Wen and his group were, and he didn’t want to betray Chen Wen either.

So, he didn’t put on a friendly face for those who came to ask.

In the end, bothered by the inquiries, Xu Qiang simply joined a previously agreed cooperation team of survivors.

...

On Chen Wen’s side.

After a busy period of cleaning out an open space.

He asked Hua Yun to keep watch over the area.

While he traveled light, with a weapon, he mounted a camel and headed towards the starting point under the scorching sun.

He planned to check the situation at the starting point and contact Adam and the others.

Proceeding slowly.

In the afternoon, Chen Wen arrived at the starting point.

From a distance, the starting point was also a small settlement formed by an artificial forest.

Near the artificial forest at the starting point, there were some human constructions which were the houses of the local indigenous people.

Chen Wen estimated that there were not many of these houses, about twenty or so.

Additionally, there were three wells dug between the artificial forest and the indigenous houses.

In Western Australia, surface water resources were scarce, but underground water resources were plentiful.

As long as there were wells, the locals wouldn’t have trouble accessing drinking water.

After carefully noting the terrain, Chen Wen leisurely rode his camel towards the camp.

Soon, all eight established shelters noticed Chen Wen.

Many people stepped out, cautiously watching Chen Wen, but without weapons.

They were wary of causing alarm to Chen Wen by carrying weapons, which might provoke him.

The news that Chen Wen had eliminated two Japanese contestants spread throughout all the participating teams.

No one wanted to provoke him right now.

Chen Wen nodded at some familiar contestants and also gave a friendly nod to those unfamiliar teams.

Only towards the Japanese and American teams did Chen Wen show caution.

This slightly eased the atmosphere at the starting point.

Chen Wen walked toward the Russian team’s camp and dismounted his camel.

He addressed Oleg, who had come to greet him, ”Vice President Oleg, I would like to meet with Fred, what do you think?”

”Of course, would you like to join us for dinner? We have camel bone soup and roasted camel meat here.”

Oleg responded warmly.

Chen Wen politely declined Oleg’s invitation and then met with Fred.

He shared his plan with Fred alone.

After hearing Chen Wen’s plan, Fred nodded, ”Sure, I also feel this area isn’t very safe. We already had a conflict with the Japanese team when slaughtering a camel at noon.”

Chen Wen nodded, ”I suspect greater conflicts are imminent. Let’s do this, pack your things, bring along the supplies you need, and leave with me later on.”

Fred nodded and went back to inform Oleg about leaving.

During this time.

Chen Wen also headed to the U.S. team’s camp.

This time, he didn’t get too close, instead calling Adam’s name from a distance.

Soon, Adam came out under Hope’s watchful eye.

Upon learning of Chen Wen’s plan, he swiftly agreed.

Besides worrying that things might escalate there, Adam also couldn’t stand the atmosphere.

He took his supplies, tools, a camel, and some camel raw meat and left the camp.

Hope, Gaston, and two other American contestants watched Adam leave.

One of them asked, ”Aren’t we taking action? Four against two, we should be able to take them out!”

Eliminating contestants from other countries would not only allow them to seize their supplies and tools but would also earn additional elimination bonuses after the challenge, which came from the eliminated contestant’s share.

Therefore, there was a strong desire to eliminate popular contestants.

Gaston frowned, intending to stop this.

But Hope said, ”No, it’s too chaotic here. If we make the first move and incite chaos, our plan will go awry.”

”The main goal in the Desert Extreme Challenge is to complete the challenge, not to engage in fights with them. Do you understand what I mean?”

Hearing this, the two members of the American team nodded and didn’t argue further.

...

After leaving the American camp.

Chen Wen and Adam headed over to the Australian team.

The team was led by the vice president of Australia, who was also their seed contestant.

Though cautious of Chen Wen, the vice president still received Chen Wen kindly.

However, Chen Wen didn’t stay long, only expressing his wish to take Dennis along.

The vice president hesitated briefly but allowed Dennis to leave.

Dennis, like Adam, took his camel, food, supplies, tools, and some camel raw meat with him.

After gathering all the members.

Chen Wen and Adam discussed and handed Adam’s camel meat over to Xu Qiang.

Xu Qiang was surprised and didn’t intend to accept it.

But Chen Wen said, ”This was agreed upon; the portion of camel meat meant for you should be taken. I’m not planning to give any to Feng Zhong, but you must take it. We might not be coming back later.”

Unable to argue with Chen Wen, Xu Qiang nodded and accepted the camel meat.

After completing the final task, Chen Wen signaled everyone to follow him, then cautiously retreated outside the camp.

When no one was paying attention, he mounted his camel and quickly led his team away.

...

Late in the afternoon.

Chen Wen led everyone back to the artificial forest area.

Hua Yun had already dug a fire pit and started a bonfire.

When Chen Wen returned, she immediately stood up to welcome the new team members.

Seeing the situation on Chen Wen’s side, everyone was surprised.

”So many camels? Did you rob the Japanese team?”

Dennis couldn’t help but ask.

”More or less, there’s from the Japanese team, and also from our side’s Feng Zhong.”

Chen Wen replied, looking at Adam, ”The materials for building the shelter have been brought over, and I’ll mention the camp rules. Since everyone agreed to join my team, I’ll make it clear upfront, we must adhere to the camp rules, otherwise...”

Chen Wen didn’t elaborate further, but his sharp demeanor intimidated everyone present.
