Wilderness Survival with Druid System

”Chen Wen! What do you think you’re doing!”

Watching Chen Wen continually dragging his camel forward, Feng Zhong cursed under his breath and was about to step in to stop him.

Seeing this, Chen Wen decisively pulled the reins tight and stopped in his tracks.

Before Feng Zhong could speak.

Those sharp eyes of Chen Wen’s met Feng Zhong’s directly.

Devoid of any emotion, only ruthless sharpness!

Seeing such eyes, Feng Zhong’s heart suddenly panicked, some unpleasant memories instantly surged in his mind.

He instinctively took a step back, but somehow felt this action was a bit embarrassing.

Feng Zhong wanted to step forward again, but upon reconsidering Chen Wen’s methods...

Seeing Feng Zhong lift his feet several times in place, Chen Wen was momentarily stunned.

What the hell?

What kind of start is this?

Brazilian war dance warm-up?

But Feng Zhong’s old face rarely reddened, angrily and humiliated, he said, ”Are you disregarding the president’s warnings and ready to turn against us?!”

”Cut the crap!”

Chen Wen raised his right hand and slowly drew out the long spear strapped to his back: ”You’re the one breaking the rules, that’s point one!”

After fully drawing out the long spear.

Chen Wen swung the long spear with a whoosh, the spearhead naturally drooping, but Feng Zhong’s heart was fiercely gripped.

What is he going to do?!

Damn, is Chen Wen about to make a move!

Feng Zhong’s forehead was covered in cold sweat trickling down.

The ”Fat Black Guy Checking Computer.jpg” moment.

Chen Wen didn’t care to talk about the rules of human society with Feng Zhong anymore.

In the wilderness, the rules of the wilderness are paramount!

He grinned with bared teeth: ”Points two, three, four, and five, I’ll say them all at once, we’ve had a grudge for a long time, and during this survival, I don’t like you, but considering you’re still a Hua Country citizen, I’ll give you two choices!”

”First, leave now, don’t think about taking the camel and supplies, go ask your Japanese teammates for them!”

”Second.”

Chen Wen flicked the long spear in his hand: ”Wilderness rules, winner takes all, loser prepares for the next challenge, you choose, you have one minute to think!”

Hearing Chen Wen’s words, Feng Zhong’s face twitched sharply.

He opened his mouth, just about to argue.

Chen Wen thrust his long spear into the sandy ground: ”Fifty seconds! Arguing? Arguing counts as time too!”

”First one! I choose the first!”

Feng Zhong suddenly seemed to have his backbone pulled out, his body went limp, and he stumbled half a step back.

Chen Wen nodded slightly, not saying more, and directly led the camel away into the distance.

Before leaving, he dealt a psychological blow with a parting remark: ”Clearly, you’re not strong enough, how dare you chase after me?”

Hearing this, Feng Zhong’s actions paused.

It was only after Chen Wen left that Feng Zhong shouted in utter bitterness and resentment: ”Damn it, if you hadn’t taken my camel, would I have chased after you!”

”Damn it!”

Feng Zhong, with red eyes, turned to head back where he started.

Just like Chen Wen said, he had to wait for the Japanese team to set off and join them to continue on.

Otherwise, without a camel and food, let alone completing the Desert Extreme Challenge, even exiting the Great Sand Desert would be a problem!

Therefore, Feng Zhong walked away without looking back.

Little did he know, it was this act of not looking back that soon led Feng Zhong into a more dangerous predicament!

...

In the man-made forest.

Chen Wen gathered all the camels around Hua Yun and quickly said, ”I’ve got the hawk watching Feng Zhong. Soon, I plan to eliminate some members of the Japanese team, otherwise, once they stabilize and team up with the American team, we’ll be in a bad spot.”

Hearing this, Hua Yun quickly said, ”Do you need my help? A sneak attack? With long-range, my bow and arrow should be able to eliminate one of them!”

Desert Extreme Challenge, not just a competition, but a war!

The two had long been mentally prepared.

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen said, ”It’s not yet time for us to strike together, I’m organizing the camels and supplies, you help me make a few wooden spears, use the dead branches or tree branches from this forest.”

”Try to carve sharp points with a dagger and keep the wooden spears as straight as possible.”

Upon hearing this, Hua Yun signaled an okay gesture and quickly began crafting.

Meanwhile, Chen Wen tied the camels’ reins to a tree and distributed three days’ worth of food among the two camels.

These were the two camels Chen Wen and Hua Yun had previously selected.

”At a critical moment, abandon the other camels, and protect these two only.”

Chen Wen instructed Hua Yun.

Hua Yun nodded, the wooden stick in her hand already taking the form of a spear.

Chen Wen also picked up a wooden stick from nearby and began working on it.

The two moved swiftly, quickly crafting two wooden spears.

Although their appearance didn’t suggest much power, they seemed only capable of breaking skin.

Chen Wen packed the two wooden spears and left most of his supplies behind.

He only took a dagger, an axe, a long spear, and the two wooden spears.

”You wait for me here, I estimate the Japanese team is coming soon, I’ll check out the situation, whether successful or not, I’ll be back here by noon today,” Chen Wen said, pausing, then continued, ”If I’m not back in time, ride one of the camels to the starting point, and follow the original plan, join forces with Adam and bring them here.”

Hua Yun took a deep breath, nodded, ”Don’t worry!”

After Chen Wen left, she continued searching for wooden sticks to craft more wooden spears.

At this point, it was the only thing she could do.

As for whether Chen Wen might not return, Hua Yun wasn’t worried at all.

Having partnered with Chen Wen, she knew very well just how formidable Chen Wen’s skills were.

...

In the Great Sand Desert.

About five kilometers away from the starting point on a stretch of rocky ground.

Feng Zhong held his weapon—a long spear, gazing into the distance.

Having escaped to this spot, he didn’t continue onward.

This rocky outcrop was essentially a must-pass route to the starting point.

Just as Feng Zhong expected.

After waiting for about twenty minutes, in the distance, camel figures slowly emerged from the desert.

Feng Zhong squinted, the figure on the leading camel was indeed Yoshikawa Feng.

”Yoshikawa Feng! It’s me! I’m here!”

Feng Zhong shouted loudly, waving his blue hat with his long spear.

Seeing the waving hat, Yoshikawa Feng was somewhat surprised.

”Isn’t that the signal we agreed on with Feng Zhong? Is he asking for help?” Yoshikawa Feng couldn’t help but say.

The president of the Japan Survival Association was a woman, but quite unlike the stereotypical image of Japanese women.

This Japanese woman named Matsui Reika was tall and burly, built like a sumo wrestler.

Matsui Reika squinted and said, ”It’s him, huh, tasked with delaying Chen Wen, yet he needs to call for help, what a waste!”

Yoshikawa Feng, upon hearing this, cautiously spoke on behalf of his friend, ”Chen Wen is a bit eccentric, it’s normal for Feng Zhong not to be his match...”

Matsui Reika chuckled coldly, not saying much more.

Besides Yoshikawa Feng’s apprentice, Shijing Heren, the other two Japanese companions also snickered.

They too looked down on Feng Zhong.
