Wilderness Survival with Druid System

This statement put Liu Yu in a difficult position.

After a moment of silence, he said, ”Then what is Mr. President’s opinion?”

”The overseas champion is the same as the domestic one, both counted as five votes, the top three remain unchanged.”

As soon as these words were spoken, many contestants subtly glanced at Chen Wen.

Isn’t this targeting too obvious?

Chen Wen was also surprised.

He seemingly hadn’t provoked this president, right?

Why suddenly target him?

Could it be...

Chen Wen instinctively looked at Feng Zhong, and although his face was expressionless,

from his relaxed corners of the mouth, it was pretty much certain it was his doing.

Can’t play fair, so going covert?

Chen Wen sneered inwardly, slowly sitting upright.

Buddy wasn’t planning to contest, but since you played dirty tricks, then let’s give it a try!

Just as Chen Wen was about to speak,

the president suddenly said, ”Alright, let’s stop here, no more talking, Sun, count the votes.”

Liu Yu’s face slightly changed.

Sun also frowned a bit, intending to delay.

But Liu Yu waved, signaling Sun to proceed.

With some discontent, Sun calmly began to count the votes.

Soon, the results came out.

But this result...

Liu Yu looked at the results, a playful look flashing in his eyes, ”After calculating, Chen Wen and Feng Zhong have a tie, both with thirty-seven votes. The other three had lower votes and are out from seed selection.”

This result caused a commotion in the audience.

A tie?

How coincidental?

Feng Zhong was also taken aback.

He carefully counted the votes in his mind.

His small clique had twenty-two votes, ten from international awards, five from the president.

Right!

But why does Chen Wen have the same number of votes as me?!

On Chen Wen’s side.

He had initially given up, especially when the president so obviously favored Feng Zhong.

Making Chen Wen quite annoyed.

He was planning to go it alone, who knew there would be experts?

He actually tied with Feng Zhong!

Awarded twenty votes, one from Hua Yun, making it just twenty-one!

Where did the sixteen votes come from?

Could it be...

Up high, Liu Yu and Chen Wen locked eyes and Liu Yu winked.

Clearly, his five votes went to Chen Wen.

Zhao also turned back to Chen Wen, giving a thumbs up.

Apparently, those eleven votes were thanks to him.

After all, Chen Wen, as a newcomer, had achieved so much honor.

From any angle, these veterans were not too convinced of Chen Wen.

Given that Chen Wen himself had no social connections, the number voting for him would surely be small.

With the tie result, the expressions of Feng Zhong and the president both changed slightly.

”What should we do now?”

Liu Yu asked the president expressionlessly.

The president took a deep breath, ”Let Mr. Liu handle it, follow the previous rules.”

Upon saying that, the president half-closed his eyes, shaking his head internally.

Help those with virtue, those without get little help.

This Feng Zhong always played his clique game, now he’s reaping what he sowed, nothing much to say.

Anyway, I’ve done my part, returned the favor I owed.

Whatever the result, it’s not my concern anymore.

Thinking of this, the president opened his eyes, listening to Liu Yu announce the rules.

”In the case of a tie, although not encountered before, we have discussed such a situation.”

”We decided at that time that if there is a win-loss record between the tied two, the winner is selected. Chen Wen and Feng Zhong both participated in Caprivi’s survival competition, where Chen Wen personally eliminated Feng Zhong, so...”

Liu Yu deliberately paused, smiling, ”The seed player naturally is...”

”Wait a minute!”

Feng Zhong suddenly interrupted Liu Yu, standing up with a sullen face, ”Seed players generally need to lead independently, and the responsibility is heavy. I think Chen Wen is not quite suitable, he’s too young and lacks experience with the Eight Extremes Challenge!”

Hearing this, even the president’s face showed some displeasure.

He thought Feng Zhong would have a better solution, who knew it was just like this?

Directly ignoring the set rules?

This person is inadequate.

The president shook his head, looking at Chen Wen.

Chen Wen knew now he had to speak up.

He took a breath, smiling, ”Actually, I’m not very concerned with the seed player spot, doesn’t matter to me.”

Upon these words, everyone was taken aback.

Chen Wen continued, ”I believe true strength carries confidence, actively pursuing such safety measures is already a step down, and mentally, they are already behind.”

”But as Mr. Liu said, the rules were set by the former president and several vice-presidents, it’s inappropriate to violate them now, right? Would it be that the previous voting and rules were just procedural? Then our election meeting tonight would be a waste of time.”

”If it’s really based on qualifications and experience to choose the seed player, I think Mr. Zhao would be more suitable, his credentials are profound, having participated in the Eight Extremes Challenge with Mr. Liu. He’s also experienced, the challenges he passed through are the most besides Mr. Liu, so by Mr. Feng’s new rules, I propose Mr. Zhao to be the seed player!”

After saying this, Zhao snorted, ”Hmph! Chen Wen, enough with the praise, I don’t want this qualification, but I also think if not according to previous rules, then what are we doing here? Might as well go home early and sleep!”

Among Zhuo Yunfan, Ding Jinyu, and Xu Qiang, except for Ding Jinyu being on Feng Zhong’s side,

the other two also expressed dissatisfaction.

Zhuo Yunfan was more tactful, saying, ”Since it was discussed, let’s follow the discussion.”

Xu Qiang was much more direct.

He sarcastically said, ”Rules are not some faces that can be changed at will! Competing for a spot with the young is one thing, but wanting to play tricks...”

”Xu Qiang!”

Up high, Liu Yu glared at Xu Qiang.

But Xu Qiang still muttered softly, ”Even with this, can’t win, disgraceful! Pft!”

Now Chen Wen understood why Xu Qiang was rather solitary.

With such a straightforward, sword-wielding knightliness personality.

He is someone with character!

Those not part of Feng Zhong’s clique started whispering amongst themselves.

They all expressed disdain for Feng Zhong’s behavior.

Because of Chen Wen’s previous speech, their evaluation of him increased significantly.

After being mocked unanimously, Feng Zhong’s face was as black as the bottom of a pot.

He took a deep breath, barely managing a smile, ”I didn’t consider it thoroughly, let’s follow the previous discussion!”

After saying this, Feng Zhong felt like his heart was bleeding.

Liu Yu chuckled softly, ”Since that’s the case, it’s settled, Chen Wen will be the seed player representing Hua Country in the Eight Extremes Challenge!”

”Chen Wen, even though Mr. Feng sometimes speaks inappropriately, he still made some valid points.”

”As a seed player, you are also the team leader. You need to lead the team, understand the responsibility you bear?”

Chen Wen nodded, his expression solemn, ”Mr. Liu, rest assured, I will certainly lead the team to victory!”

Hearing this, Liu Yu nodded lightly.

”Very good, seeing your attitude, I feel granting you the seed player spot is very worthwhile!”

Beside, the president, who was resting his eyes, also chimed in, ”Indeed, I also find it very worthwhile!”

”Youngster, full of spirit, I hope you can lead the team to achieve a good result!”

Chen Wen nodded again, ”I won’t disappoint the president’s high hopes!”

The president also nodded with satisfaction.
