Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 986: Chapter 985: Welcome to the Heavenly Dao Palace

Although Fang Zheng had a lot to complain about deep down, the crystal ball does not lie. In fact, just judging from the brightness of the crystal’s radiance and the time the symbols solidified... Hmm...

In Fang Zheng’s familiar words, it’s like saying, I see Black Cat, your bones are extraordinary, you are a magical genius among thousands. Here’s the Book of a Thousand Laws, rely on you to defeat evil and protect world peace...

However, that’s what was said, but unfortunately Fang Zheng couldn’t teach Black Cat any spells.

The reason is simple, because Black Cat’s three spell schools happen to be his restricted specialties.

Illusion Technique, Transformation and... Necromancer!

How should I put it... that really suits Black Cat’s style...

”Alright, next up is the final matter.”

After soothing the excited Black Cat, Fang Zheng then shifted the topic back on track.

”Do you want to visit my world?”

”Can we really?”

Upon hearing this, Eiriri exclaimed in surprise, and Asuna also looked at Fang Zheng in amazement, as for Fang Zheng, he nodded.

”Of course, my previous arrival to this world was an accident, but now, I have successfully opened a Teleportation Gate in this world. If you want to go to my world, you just need to enter the gate. In fact, this is way more convenient than traveling abroad.”

”I want to go!”

Eiriri nodded vigorously, and after thinking for a moment, Asuna agreed as well, as for Black Cat—she had already been impatient.

”Then, follow me.”

Fang Zheng stood up and led the group to the other side of the reception room. Only then did the girls curiously find there was an elevator here. Fang Zheng reached out and pressed the elevator door, which then opened with a ding, revealing the spacious and clean interior. Subsequently, Fang Zheng led the group into the elevator and casually pressed a button on the panel.

Following that, the elevator closed quietly, accompanied by a faint sound as it descended.

”Is this the Teleportation Gate?”

Black Cat stared wide-eyed at the elevator panel in front of her... Although it looked a bit different, this was way off from the Teleportation Gate she had imagined!

To talk about the Teleportation Gate, shouldn’t it be something with a highly magical aura, full of mystery and complex Magic Circles...

”Direct teleportation has its physical stimuli and is quite inconvenient.”

Without Black Cat needing to voice it out, Fang Zheng already knew what she was thinking.

”The fluctuations of space gaps are quite troublesome, and if someone accidentally steps out, something could go wrong. In comparison, an elevator with a fixed travel path is much more convenient.”

This was also a new feature that came with Fang Zheng’s Dimensional Codex ”upgrade,” allowing Fang Zheng to construct elevators for resource and personnel transportation in various Free World’s Teleportation Gates.

As long as Fang Zheng obtains a Free World building, he can designate a space to construct a Space Elevator, which can only be used by those approved by Fang Zheng. Any other random animals or people can’t even enter, and can’t even open the elevator.

Of course, the residents of each Free Space themselves cannot enter other Free Worlds without Fang Zheng’s permission. They can only go to their own world and the Heavenly Dao Palace where Fang Zheng resides. Without Fang Zheng’s guidance, even if they press the elevator button to another world, it’s useless.

”Each button corresponds to a world.”

Fang Zheng pointed to the buttons on the panel and introduced them to the group.

”The bottom button leads to the Heavenly Dao Palace where I reside, which is the central node of all worlds and the place I plan to take you, considered my base. The button above leads to another world’s Earth, I call it the World of Cicada’s Song, its time is roughly in the 1980s... Hmm, for you, it’s a relatively technologically backward world.”

”Is there anything in this world?”

Curiously, Asuna asked to which Fang Zheng nodded.

”Yes, on Earth in this world, in Japan there’s a place called Hinamizawa, where the residents have a sickness known as Hinamizawa Complex. When they leave the village too far, they experience hallucinations, auditory illusions, have violent tendencies, and kill... dismember. Alright, consider this world like it’s from a horror film. But now, this illness has mostly been cured, and to us, it’s essentially a relatively ordinary world.”

Seeing the others show uneasy expressions, Fang Zheng decisively shifted the topic.

”Next, the third button leads to the Fire Mist World, which in this world has beings called Followers of the Crimson Realm, and Fire Mist Warriors who hunt them. Followers of the Crimson Realm live by devouring the Power of Existence from humans, and Fire Mist Warriors are those who hunt these followers. However, this is all past history now. Currently, in the Fire Mist World, Followers of the Crimson Realm have migrated entirely to the gap between the two worlds, a world filled with infinite Power of Existence, and they’re no longer interested in attacking humans.”

After this, Fang Zheng also introduced to the group about the ”Black World,” ”Ironblood World,” and ”Type Moon World,” leaving everyone astounded.

”I really didn’t expect that even if they’re on the same Earth, there’d be such completely different developments...”

After hearing Fang Zheng’s introduction, Yuki couldn’t help but marvel.

”Why doesn’t our world have Fire Mist Warriors or Magicians!”

Black Cat stomped her foot, evidently disgruntled, but hearing her complaint, Asuna sighed.

”It’s better that we don’t have them, didn’t you hear what Mr. Fang Zheng said? Those worlds are very dangerous, with apostles that eat people, and Bloodline Species and murderers, and even some worlds are almost destroyed... I wouldn’t want to live in such a world.”

”Indeed, your world, relatively speaking, is the most peaceful world.”

Faced with Asuna’s lament, Fang Zheng nodded. This is also why he chose to treat this world as a Game World; having traveled through so many worlds, Fang Zheng noticed that if a world smoothly progresses through its main storyline, then it will always develop according to that storyline, even if problems arise, they wouldn’t exceed the storyline’s power cap.

In other words, the Game World where Asuna, Black Cat, and others are located, even if anything happens later, at most it would be similar to the development of a Death Game, without causing too much impact or danger.

However, like the Type Moon world and Black World... it’s hard to say.

Even the seemingly peaceful World of Cicada’s Song, who knows when it might suddenly explode with another round of some kind of syndrome, causing headaches.

As for the Ironblood World, there’s no need to mention, the universe is vast and boundless, the Swarm hasn’t even occupied a Milky Way yet, who knows if there are other aliens waiting outside, and perhaps one day Fang Zheng will need to lead the Swarm into the Ironblood World for another cosmic war.

And as for the Game World... any issues solved with data, to Fang Zheng, are no longer problems.

”Ding.”

With a clear sound, the elevator slightly shook and then stopped.

Then, the elevator door gently opened.

Fang Zheng adjusted his clothes, then with Kurumi exited the elevator, while Asuna, Eiriri, Yuki, and Black Cat stood inside, somewhat anxiously looking outside.

”Should we go out?”

”Definitely, why else did we follow Mr. Fang Zheng here?”

”In any case, we’re already here, let’s go out and take a look!”

Saying this, Black Cat was the first to stride out, followed urgently by Asuna and Eiriri.

Upon stepping out of the elevator, dazzling sunlight shone directly, causing the three of them to squint, raising hands to shield their eyes. After a moment, confirming their eyes had adjusted to the light, they lowered their hands.

And upon seeing the scene before them, the three couldn’t help but be stunned.

What first appeared before the group was a lush green grassy field, below the small hill was a town built with yellow bricks and red tiles. In the distance could be seen Psionic Crystals floating in the sky, slowly rotating, while amidst the boundless sea of white clouds, enormous Cosmic Warships resembling small mountains emerged...

”Amazing...”

Asuna opened her mouth but had no idea what to say, just standing here, watching this unimaginable scene, made Asuna feel her past decade of life paled into insignificance. And Eiriri was also gripping her fists tightly, eyes shining as she looked at everything.

As for Black Cat and Yuki, they were already immersed in admiration of this beautiful scenery, unable to extricate themselves.

”Alright, everyone.”

At this moment, Fang Zheng turned around, smiling as he looked at everyone and said.

”Welcome to the Heavenly Dao Palace.”
