Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1144: Chapter 679: Da Wu’s Title Defense (Part 2)

To achieve this, energy level and specialized training are indispensable, yet both are not things that can be accomplished overnight.

Baimu shook his head.

Below.

The dust that covered most of the arena dissipated.

On the devastated, pockmarked battlefield, Mega Metagross and Salamence each stood on opposing sides, glaring at each other.

As if nothing was wrong after a collision?

Of course not.

Mega Metagross’s previously raised giant arms drooped, and the large mouth in the lower half of its body was slightly open and closed; Salamence’s bloody wings were no longer as smooth as initially, and its breathing had become heavy.

Suddenly.

An orange-red light glowed from the former.

The secondary effect of Comet Fist!

A certain probability of enhancing Pokémon’s physical attack ability!

Baimu couldn’t help but marvel at Da Wu and Mega Metagross’s luck. There was already a gap between the two Pokémon, and now the strong one suddenly increased in power, widening the gap further.

He looked at the Genji features on the big screen, the Old Celestial King’s coughing became noticeably frequent, identical to the last moment of the Meteor Village battle.

Can he continue to fight?

He looked at Genji worriedly.

Compared to an honorable defeat, losing because of physical issues is bound to be more frustrating, especially upon realizing that oneself is holding the Pokémon back.

Fortunately, the strong will of the Old Celestial King was enough to let him fight to the end.

At least it gives an explanation to his Pokémon partners.

The upcoming battle.

The offensive intensity of Salamence rose by a level, as others thought Genji saw Mega Metagross’s ability enhancement and didn’t want to delay the pace and give an opportunity.

Only those who understood his physical condition knew that Genji was trying his best to fight to the last moment in Salamence’s strongest state.

Super Evolution allows the Trainer and Pokémon to connect spiritually; if the Trainer encounters issues, the Pokémon’s condition declines rapidly as well.

This does not mean Genji gave up.

On the contrary, he was incited with fighting spirit, temporarily setting aside the composure honed through years of seafaring, no longer sparing his words, he ordered loudly and frequently, as if returning to his younger days.

Salamence likewise seemed to gain extra strength, with its moves’ power increasing overwhelmingly, truly allowing the audience to experience the fierceness of the ”Bloodstained Crescent.”

Da Wu and Mega Metagross, faced with such a Salamence, acted more cautiously than before, fully displaying its awe-inspiring space computation ability.

Baimu watched the flash-like movement of Mega Metagross, helplessly realizing that Mega Aggron could block its attacks, yet it was difficult to counterattack in time.

Too agile.

Even Pikachu must rely on a Mega Volt to hit Mega Metagross.

The battle time extended.

Numerous spectators clenched their fists, watching below with great tension.

The two Pokémon’s attack frequency was too high, not giving them a moment to breathe, and the commentator hadn’t stopped talking since just now, continuously conveying the on-site updates.

After several minutes.

The incredibly powerful Mega Pokémon found opportunities to clash twice more, the aftermath of the explosion thinning the ground surface even further.

The battle gradually approached its end.

The initial clash saw Mega Metagross’s increased physical attack capability as too lethal, Salamence failed multiple charges and was suppressed instead.

The Ultimate Shock under the Flying Skin Trait was formidable, yet it still lacked the power to shake Mega Metagross.

Clearly.

Da Wu’s Mega Metagross was no lesser than Genji’s ”Hexagon.”

”Matah!”

The Metal Giant Beast bound Salamence with Spiritual Power, blasting it out of the field like firing a cannonball. The latter suddenly flew out, heavily hitting the outer arena wall, causing it to crack!

Bang!

Half of its body was embedded.

Genji’s coughing stopped abruptly, and Aerial Rotom swiftly directed its end towards the smoke-covered broken wall.

”Salamence is unable to battle; Metagross wins!”

The referee’s call sparked a cosmic cheer from the countless spectators!

Ace battle victory.

This championship title defense has already won more than half, with only a small chance left for a possible reversal.

Genji and Da Wu each recalled Salamence and Mega Metagross.

The replacements were Flygon and Claydol.

The Invisible Rock didn’t show its presence this time, because the terrifying explosions just now dispersed all the invisible self-destruct rocks.

This thing isn’t just countered by high-speed spin or clear dense fog.

If the power is sufficiently massive, it can sweep through the arena as well.

Old rivals took the stage.

Flygon took the initiative, using Explosive Sound Wave to disturb Claydol; the previous Bug Buzz was a step slower, hitting the Light Wall without effect.

It reacted quickly, not struck by Invisible Rock, attacking first before Claydol could use Cosmic Power to bolster its dual defenses.

It must be said.

The power of Explosive Sound Wave was sufficiently fierce, causing heavy damage to Claydol.

Flygon’s state didn’t decline despite Genji’s deteriorating mental state, as if infused with fighting spirit, advancing energetically.

Indeed a Pokémon that dares to face other Pokémon independently with Tornadus.

Yet Cosmic Power was still successfully used by Claydol.

The ensuing move process differed from the first half; Claydol endured all of Flygon’s damage to set up double walls and Sandstorm.

After these three techniques, it had already expended a lot of energy while under Flygon’s continuous assault.

It seemed it didn’t have a good recovery move, unlike the first half, it fell into the disadvantage.

Then.

Something shocking occurred.

Claydol first used Recovery Block on Flygon, and when the latter used Dragon’s Pulse to attack, suddenly used Instant Movement to appear beside it, setting off Big Explosion!

Flygon’s movements were already swift, immediately using Dragon Tail to strike at Claydol.

Who would have thought the initiation of Big Explosion was even faster!

Bang!

The fiery explosion spread across the sky!

Baimu clutched his chest, unable to bear watching this technique; each time he saw it, the psychological shadow emerged again, yet Da Wu was so decisive.

The smoke on the field gradually cleared.

Flygon wasn’t taken down by the Big Explosion, it managed to pull some distance using Lightning Flash in time.

However, Recovery Block prevented it from landing and using Feather Rest.

By this time, Da Wu swiftly switched in the Pokémon to replace Claydol—

Lairon.

As one of the first Pokémon Da Wu cultivated, its strength is equivalent to Baimu Family’s Mawile and Hydreigon in Da Wu’s team.

Upon landing, without a word, it roared and charged fiercely using Heavyweight Charge!

Boom!

With nearly four times the weight difference, the power of Heavyweight Charge was fully unleashed, Flygon didn’t even have time to howl before being knocked out of the arena.

Though it didn’t embed into a wall like Salamence, it crashed to the ground, rolling several times before stopping.

Aerial Rotom clearly captured its expression of losing combat capability.

Thus, Genji had only one left.

Besides the unwell Mega Metagross, Da Wu also had Lairon, which had just secured a ”kill,” and one yet-to-appear Pokémon.

The outcome was already determined.

Genji gradually changed from light coughing to severe coughing.

His last Altaria didn’t have the independent ability as strong as Flygon.

In Sandstorm weather, it was beaten back by Lairon’s Rockslide repeatedly. Although it tried to retaliate with moves like Earthquake multiple times, it never got a chance to land.

Lairon always predicted its intended landing point, hurling large rocks toward it.

After a long struggle.

Altaria was gradually exhausted by the Sandstorm; its attacks on Lairon were weakened by Light Wall and Reflective Wall.

Da Wu ended this championship title defense battle with an order of Heavyweight Charge.

”Altaria is unable to battle; Lairon wins, Four Heavenly Kings Genji has no usable Pokémon, I declare the champion of this match is Da Wu!!”

Amid the referee’s high-pitched announcement.

Countless fireworks exploded, confetti fell from the sky, and thrilling celebratory symphonies echoed in the ears of all spectators.

But they had no inclination to appreciate the music, all stood to applaud vigorously, cheering for Da Wu, who was able to succeed as Regional Champion, even the Holy Fire at the highest point flared several times bigger!

Thus came the end.

The Hoenn Champion Alliance reached a perfect conclusion.
