Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1129: Chapter 672: Champion Alliance

Da Wu’s popularity is no less than Mikoli’s.

The Region’s top Regional Champion from Hoenn, touted by the media as the first to evolve mega, and the noble son of the technological giant, De Wen Company.

These identities endowed him with a charm that captivated countless young girls.

The moment he stepped out of the car.

An overwhelming cheer erupted around.

”Champion! Champion!”

”Champion Da Wu!”

Eyes filled with excitement locked firmly on Da Wu, screaming his name and titles like a religious ceremony, waving their banners and fan signs tirelessly.

Strangely enough, even without assistance from league staff.

The audience voluntarily opened a wide path for Da Wu, their eyes filled with admiration and yearning.

Undoubtedly.

This is the weight of a Regional Champion.

Standing at the pinnacle of Hoenn’s trainers, deeply respected by all trainers who love Pokémon battles.

Brilliance belongs only to him alone.

Da Wu smiled and waved to the surrounding audience, simply standing there, a slightly unexpected strong aura rose from him, as if in the spotlight, attracting everyone’s attention.

”The aura of a champion...”

Baimu secretly admired.

He hopes that when he becomes a champion, the Ore People will recognize him even half as the Hoenn People recognize Da Wu. Though he knows many in Pyrite Town, how many people know him in the main cities like Silicon City and Jinqing Port?

How many can understand the significance of being a Regional Champion like in mainstream regions?

He silently followed Da Wu into the venue, blending in unnoticed with his mask and cap like a follower.

Inside.

The staff were busy with final checks and adjustments.

Baimu initially wanted to head directly to the audience seats but was stopped by Da Wu, who wanted to introduce him to the Celestial Kings besides Genji.

Da Wu wasn’t aware of his acquaintance with Bonnie and Furong.

The Hoenn Champion recently spent several months in Carlos and had little opportunity to meet the other Celestial Kings.

Baimu readily agreed.

Since he already knew three of the Hoenn Four Heavenly Kings, meeting the last one, Huayue, was necessary, especially given the impression from the Huayue fan he encountered during the earlier tournament.

In the preparation room.

Genji and Bonnie and Furong, whom he met in the diner in the morning, were already present.

The last one had a bald head with a tuft of red hair, looking like a mischievous youth from a gang, was the Evil Attribute Celestial King, Huayue.

Each of the four stood or sat, alongside their Pokémon, with a gap between them. There wasn’t much exchange, but the atmosphere was surprisingly harmonious.

”Everyone, sorry for the wait.”

Da Wu smiled, revealing Baimu behind him, ”Let me introduce, this is—”

”Baimu.”

”The fool who gave up the Champion Alliance.”

Bonnie and Furong spoke in turn, with the latter deliberately making a mocking face.

The calm Genji nodded slightly as a greeting.

Da Wu and Huayue were momentarily dumbfounded.

”Hey hey hey! Have you all met already? So, you’re the one called Baimu!”

The Evil Celestial King quickly stepped forward, his face close enough to Baimu as if to intimidate with his gaze, although he was slightly shorter and had to look up to complete the action.

”They know you, but I don’t. Do you look down on me?”

”Ah...”

Baimu understood the other meant no harm, simply unhappy to be excluded.

This was evident from the silly and friendly look of the Mightyena wagging its tongue and tail behind him, after all, a trainer upset wouldn’t have an unaffected Pokémon.

”There was no chance, and what’s more, meeting doesn’t depend on timing, relationship development is what matters, wouldn’t you agree?” Baimu smiled.

Huayue’s eyes regarded him for a long time, then laughed and patted his shoulder, ”Haha! Well said! I like your words! Kid! By the way! I like your Hydreigon too!”

His ace Absol was encountered when he forsook being a gangster and began his journey, on a mountain that was about to collapse; he saw this as a destined change in life.

”I thank you on its behalf.”

Baimu held the Pokeball at his waist to stop it from shaking.

The Hydreigon is quite sensitive to compliments, unleashed, it might create trouble.

Da Wu shook his head helplessly, uninterested in Bonnie and Furong already knowing Baimu, and said to the four, ”Since the need for my introduction is gone. So, are you all prepared?”

It felt like the prelude to a grand battle.

The Four Heavenly Kings each displayed different expressions, their Pokémon beside them quickly emanated strong fighting intent, sharply watching each other.

Bonnie: ”You’ll see me in the tournament.”

Furong: ”Don’t underestimate the spirit medium!”

Genji: ”Preparation is just the basic phase of mastering power.”

Huayue: ”Let’s give it our all! Haha!”

What’s with this strong impression like characters entering a fighting game?

Baimu looked at Da Wu bewildered.

This champion faced the challenging words from the Four Heavenly Kings, calmly and confidently spread his hands and said: ”Then, let me wait for your arrival on the champion’s throne.”

Having said that.

Everyone briskly left the preparation room with their Pokémon.

”...”

Baimu stood with a quirky expression for a while, then hurriedly followed the group’s footsteps. On the way to the preparation room, Da Wu mentioned he’d ask the league to arrange a private spot for him.

He indeed wanted to focus on watching the matches of the four.

The Champion Alliance’s format is quite intricate, with divisions between main and sub competitions.

The main competition further divides into participation with or without prior tournament winners.
