Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1112: Chapter 664: Resonant Gains

Genji.

Dragon Attribute Master of the Hoenn Region, leader of the Four Heavenly Kings.

Legendary captain of the Pokémon World, the upright Four Seas Conqueror.

Such a Legendary Level figure during Shanren’s study abroad, has just lost to his friend, a rookie trainer who has been traveling for less than a year!

What’s wrong with the world?

Is there no justice left?

Whose good kid leaves home for a year and beats a Celestial King!

Thinking about how he participated multiple times in various regional alliance conferences and only ended up with a runner-up, Shanren’s despair overflowed in his office.

Baimu felt very wronged being scolded, having won against Genji with sheer strength, how is he not a normal being?

He doesn’t have an extra arm or two legs, does he?

”Why are you even scolding, too much overtime causing stress?”

Shanren insisted righteously: ’Scolding? I want to hit people! You wait—no, I’m waiting for you to come back!’

”...Should the video be released or not.”

Baimu glanced at the screen with the posture of a subway elder checking their phone, confirming he hadn’t typed wrong, felt this guy really might have overtime fatigue,

Shanren sneered, ’Release! Of course it should be released! But not now, after the Champion Alliance ends release it. Let’s crush the sharpness of those doubting the future champion of Ore’s worth!’

Case closed.

Too much overtime and external opinion influence causing negative emotions.

”Alright then, I’ll seek Heavenly King Genji’s permission and send it to you... don’t overwork yourself. Rest when needed,” Baimu said softly.

Shanren casually responded, then hung up the phone.

”Baimu~”

Lian Zuo’s trembling voice came from not far away, in a haze his round chubby figure was wobbling closer, with Genji strolling behind with hands in pockets.

No doubt about it.

Genji completely didn’t care whether the video of his defeat in battle was made public, having spent years at sea he couldn’t even grasp the internet, all sorts of timely news came from his crew.

Compared to any possible damage to his ”face” and public reputation, he was more concerned about Baimu being swayed by what Lian Zuo spoke of those rumors.

Thus he followed along.

Upon realizing Baimu wasn’t bothered either, with the video release mainly to reverse public opinion about the Ore Alliance Conference, Genji was relieved.

”Rest early with your Pokémon, recovery is also an important part of improving strength.”

He lightly patted his shoulder and turned to leave.

After Genji left, Lian Zuo, completely tense-faced, let out a sigh and said: ”Heavenly King Genji’s aura is truly too strong, yet you’re amazing, able to converse with him so smoothly.”

”I’m also curious about what you all are afraid of, the old man is nothing but amiable.”

Baimu shook his head and along with the flinch-eyed and mute-nerved Lian Zuo walked towards Eldegoss’s Home.

The video was shot by Eldegoss’s sister, and she helped with the editing as well, now Zheng Fang and others are waiting for Lian Zuo to send back good news.

Speaking of which.

Why was Lian Zuo out alone?

In response to Baimu’s curiosity, Lian Zuo ruefully explained he lost to others in a fighting game, hence had to come alone to find him, probably traveling with Genji.

Baimu: ”...A bunch of talents.”

Lian Zuo and Eldegoss, despite one being chubby and the other looking like a butter protagonist, at least appeared high-school age, Zheng Fang’s bushy beard was believable for even a thirty-year-old.

Why are they so afraid of Genji?

He shook his head, prepared to thank them and chat a bit before returning.

Unexpectedly, upon entering Eldegoss’s Home, he wasn’t able to leave until four hours later.

That bunch insisted on dragging him to stay and play games together—though Baimu’s game skills were quite poor, during his previous stay at Meteor Village, he was often called by Zheng Fang and others to play games at Eldegoss’s Home, then subjected to one-sided trouncing.

This group, unable to win against Baimu in battles, particularly loved relying on outside moves to maintain their pride from their endless losses.

However.

Baimu was no longer inexperienced.

In his hands, besides the forbidden-from-competing Porygon II by Zheng Fang and others, there was a new powerhouse—

Altered-color Gengar!

”Can a mere Gengar playing games be better than us ’professional’ gamers?”

Zheng Fang and others expressed disdain.

Three minutes later.

Zheng Fang typed GG.

Another three minutes.

Lian Zuo typed GG.

Three more minutes pass...

Overall, when Gengar ruthlessly dominated a group of Dragon Tamer teenagers in fighting games, racing games, and moba games, even Eldegoss, crowned as Meteor Village’s game king, faced humiliating defeat.

It officially became the leader in this group’s gaming realm, none dared to disobey its commands.

”I think Gengar could go pro!”

Eldegoss privately proposed to Baimu, ”Pokémon Game Alliance, just search online. It’s all Pokémon participating, the prize money is quite substantial!”

It was clear Eldegoss was very interested in playing esports and becoming an esports player, but he also understood his strength could only rule over Meteor Village.

On the other hand, Gengar’s ability to crush human gamers might indicate promising success in the Pokémon gaming world.

Baimu, intrigued, searched the Pokémon Game Alliance, after roughly understanding it he nodded, ”I’ll ask.”

Then.

”Geng!”

Gengar firmly shook its head and refused.

It definitely had no esports dreams, playing games just to pass leisure time, instead of participating in game competitions it hoped its trainer could play together with it.

Moreover, participating in game competitions would waste so much time, it would rather train more, learn a couple of new techniques to enhance its strength.

So it could catch up with other companions’ footsteps.

Baimu felt let down, ”How can you, this Pokémon, have no aspirations whatsoever!”

He had thought he found something Gengar would surely love to do, and enthusiastically rushed over to ask.
