Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1136: Chapter 675: Giant Dragon and Ice_2

Fortunately, there was an Aurora Curtain protecting it, and the greatly reducing fat layers were extraordinarily firm.

This allowed Walrein to turn the tide with a traditional rolling Ice Ball, the pure Ice Attribute Energy light enabling it to easily shatter flying stones or ground spikes.

As if an iron mother ball facing biscuit-made obstacles and hollow plastic balls.

Of course.

Walrein wasn’t just defending; during its use of Ice Ball, it frequently charged towards Flygon, but unfortunately, it was too heavily reliant on timing for a ground unit to approach a flying unit.

Several times in a row, Flygon flew away just in time, leaving Walrein to pounce at empty air.

”Didn’t it Clear Dense Fog?”

Baimu remembered that Flygon seemed to have Clear Dense Fog in its skill set, and this skill could just disperse the Aurora Curtain on Walrein.

With Clear Dense Fog, the stalemate wouldn’t have lasted this long.

However, soon enough.

Flygon’s performance showed Baimu what it meant to fight as if there was no need to Clear Dense Fog.

Frequent Rock Attribute attacks hadn’t worked, so it shifted combat styles again, starting long-range energy output, with Explosive Sound Wave, Power of the Earth, and Ultimate Absorption all coming into play.

The effect was very significant.

Additionally, since the Aurora Curtain had a time limit, and the face-off with the Ice Rock took up so much time earlier, when Flygon began long-range attacks, the Aurora Curtain was useless.

Bonnie had the idea of going head-to-head with Flygon, but unfortunately, Walrein’s speed ended up being a hindrance.

After several rounds of attacks.

Walrein showed signs of weariness, and its various counterattack skills were starting to falter.

In the final moments, Bonnie chose to gamble on Absolute Zero.

Who would have thought Flygon would have flown far off early, and the frozen Qi of Absolute Zero didn’t affect it, at most leaving some ice shards on its wings.

Walrein fell.

Seeing this scene, Baimu suddenly realized, ”Was Flygon’s two Rock Attribute techniques primarily to stall time?”

Genji couldn’t possibly be unaware of what methods were most effective against Walrein; he opted for Flygon using Rockslide and Sharp Stone Attack, which allowed more opportunities for Walrein to gain an advantage, ensuring the Aurora Curtain would vanish.

Ensuring Bonnie wouldn’t look for a chance to sub out Walrein for a chance to take down Flygon.

Once the Aurora Curtain was gone.

Flygon then showcased its prowess, with a series of techniques making it hard for Bonnie to switch, ultimately succeeding in defeating the significant formidable opponent, Walrein.

What clever strategy this was!

Genji, being familiar with his colleague’s personality, knew that the cool-headed Bonnie would certainly take the bait, and thus he laid a trap.

How strong!

The mental game of Trainers is undoubtedly an essential part of Pokémon battles.

Baimu secretly applauded, witnessing Bonnie continue to send out Froslass.

Again, it started with a Hail Command.

This time, Genji didn’t follow suit; the amount of Attribute Energy is linked with the energy level and external forces and can’t be acquired through training.

The Weather Skill itself is extremely energy-consuming, and Flygon had been in a stalemate with Walrein for a long time, leaving little remaining energy.

Seeing Froslass vanish into the ice mist, appearing and disappearing like a ghost, Genji swiftly withdrew Flygon and sent out the levitating Kingdra.

Besides Shelgon, Altaria, and Flygon, the fourth main force!

Baimu looked at Genji’s Kingdra with interest, in common reasoning, Kingdra’s traditional fate is as a brutal output with the Free and Easy trait during rain.

But Genji is different.

His Kingdra has the Sniper trait, with a tactical style aligning with this trait, striving for a critical one-hit kill strike.

Froslass disappearing due to Snow Concealment?

Kingdra sprayed a large amount of Black Mist, merging with the hail, itself vanishing as well.

An outstanding sniper certainly wouldn’t allow the opponent to easily see their own position, and the lost-target Froslass quickly appeared, using Aurora Curtain to force Kingdra to act first.

It then made numerous reflections with Shadow Clone, darting through the ice mist and black smoke.

In the end, it gained nothing.

The two Pokémon seemed to be playing hide-and-seek, constantly avoiding being found by each other, yet striving to find the other’s presence.

This rhythm continued until the Black Mist was scattered by the hail, and the field gradually became clear.

But at this moment.

The spectators were surprised to find not only a bunch of Froslass on the field but also a group of Kingdra, both replaying a collision of Shadow Clones vs. Shadow Clones.

Bonnie could no longer hold it.

Underneath her calm exterior burned an incredibly intense passion, which also made it impossible for her to truly face all situations with the indifference of ice.

Froslass was the first to use Blizzard.

Under the hail, several shadows release a wide range of snow dots, helping to make it difficult for opponents to determine the true location and eliminate many false substitutes, truly killing two birds with one stone.

However, Genji’s insight is far from what an ordinary trainer can compare to.

Baimu found the seemingly flawless attack, and Genji pinpointed the release point of the Blizzard, allowing Kingdra to shoot a Water Cannon.

The azure water column pierced through the snowstorm, accurately striking Froslass and knocking it away!

”That eyesight is too good...”

He sighed repeatedly; it’s said that as people age, their eyesight may show some issues, but Genji shows no sign of this, easily handling the elusive Froslass.

After Kingdra’s successful strike, it did not capitalize on the momentum to attack, but instead emitted a large amount of Smoke Screen to obscure the vision again.

Shoot and change location?

You really are a sniper!

Baimu contemplated how he would battle Kingdra, discovering that theoretical solutions were available, feeling slightly relieved.

In the field.

The visible decline of Froslass’s aura was significant.

A critical hit?

It’s well known that when a technique hits a Pokémon’s critical point, energy-based shields like Aurora Curtain will be penetrated and rendered ineffective.

Such a choice already comes with a problem!

How can you send a delicate fighter to battle a hexagonal warrior? At least swap in a Pokémon like Walrein that can withstand it.

He looked at Bonnie, who calmly commanded Froslass to use Shadow Clones, pondering what reasons led her to choose it.

The answer soon appeared.

Numerous shadow clones of Froslass, along with the body, launched Blizzard for a wide-range attack again. Hidden in the dark, Kingdra shot another sneaky Water Cannon.

But unexpectedly, the Water Cannon pierced through three fakes and hit the last ”Froslass” solidly!

Substitute!

This move, compared to Defend, has a health cost and doesn’t guarantee blocking any attack regardless of power, its cost-performance ratio is poor.

Yet, it occasionally serves a more confusing purpose than Defend.

Froslass’s true body found Kingdra’s real position and proactively charged over like a ghost.

Kingdra launched a Water Cannon once again.

Froslass fell.

Kingdra also fell.

Countless spectators watched as eerie black mist surged from Froslass, enveloping Kingdra, causing it to collapse, leaving them speechless.

The battle between Froslass and Kingdra was already mysterious, essentially occurring in the fog, and the information gathered by the average spectator was far less than that of battling experts like Baimu.

Resulting in many spectators’ bewildered faces at the current outcome.

What situation led to a struggle of Shared Fate?

”Another exchange...”

Baimu felt he might have found the reason Bonnie had never defeated Genji in open tournaments in recent years—a preference from the Ice Celestial King for ”mutual destruction” rather than just the Ghost Celestial King’s style?

At least Furong, the expert in disruption, never considered a one-for-one tactic when facing Genji.

In the field.

The familiar ace Pokémon made their appearance.

Bonnie and Genji simultaneously initiated Super Evolution, and the astonishing colorful light sparked excitement among the anticipating audience. Baimu was more curious about Bonnie’s next move.

The premise of a piece exchange is having extra pieces not played yet, swapping an opponent’s important piece for victory, like the Walrein when battling Huayue.

Currently, besides Glalie, she has no other Pokémon left—could she still dare to exchange pieces?

No doubt.

Bonnie dared.

Or perhaps the situation with Salamence left her no choice.

Both possessing skin-type traits, Mega Glalie is weaker than Mega Salamence by a tier, despite Ice Attribute’s fourfold restraint against the Flying and Dragon Attribute combination.

The flames of Mega Salamence were more fierce than Mega Absol’s.

The cold snap was almost instantly incinerated into Hot Wind.

Baimu watched the sky filled with flames, feeling like he found the answer to why he considered the flame power overly fierce when battling Mega Salamence.

Turns out, it was intentionally trained under the influence of Mega Glalie!

He subconsciously turned his head towards Huayue.

During yesterday’s review session, Huayue had mentioned that he deliberately cultivated flame power to allow Mega Absol to knock out Mega Glalie instantly.
