Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1133: Chapter 674: ”4 Emperors” Genji?

Gravity Field.

A psychic attribute divine skill that forces all Pokémon to see ground.

Genji’s Altaria is no exception.

Being a bird Pokémon, it clearly doesn’t have as developed lower limbs as Doduo and Dodrio, making its movement speed worrying, even less than Dusknoir.

But its combat capability hasn’t weakened at all.

First, it uses Cotton Defense to swell its cotton cloud double wings to five or six times their original size, encircling it like a ball.

Then, as Dusknoir uses Body Freeze Technique to seal Cotton Defense, also imprisoning its body to remain at the spot, Altaria boldly releases its inflated cotton-like feathers using Feather Dance!

In an instant.

The cotton feathers surge like a tsunami, engulfing the nearby Dusknoir, tangling together to exert astonishing flexibility and tenacity, sticking tightly to Dusknoir, making it trapped within the thick feathers, unable to stretch its limbs.

When the opponent attempts to burn the feathers with Flame Fist, Altaria awaits the Meteor Shower to fall from the sky.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The power is as always worthy of Genji’s status as a hexagon Pokémon Trainer.

The saturation bombing-like Meteor Shower brings much suffering to the Dusknoir, who was previously cursed and lost half its HP, causing it to rush towards Altaria, trying to restore its energy through Share Suffering.

Of course, Genji would not let Furong succeed, ordering Altaria to retreat while singing.

In the amplifier.

The song comes intermittently, faintly, like the sound of Vibrava’s wings in a Tornadus, while the anxious Dusknoir to Share Suffering is caught off guard, unfortunately hit and falling on the spot.

Altaria chirps loudly, releasing the Power of the Moon to complete the final touch.

A Saint won’t be defeated by the same move twice; Genji naturally won’t be hit by Share Suffering consecutively either, especially when the heavily injured Dusknoir’s speed is limited.

However.

Though Furong indeed has a certain strength gap compared to Genji, being the youngest of Hoenn’s Four Heavenly Kings, her Pokémon won’t be easily defeated.

As the audience cheers for Altaria, a blue wave flashes from top to bottom on its surface.

Ability degradation?

”A parting gift, perhaps.”

Baimu speculates that in the current state, there weren’t many moves available; among Dusknoir’s skillset, the move that silently causes Altaria’s ability value to decrease seems to be just Parting Gift.

Why not use Shared Fate?

He’s puzzled that the Ghost Attribute Four Heavenly Kings, given the chance to use Parting Gift, wouldn’t risk exchanging Altaria with Shared Fate.

In the field.

Furong retracts Dusknoir, raises the last Pokeball prayerfully, and a few seconds later, opens it devoutly.

Bang!

A hunched Sableye lands.

A large pearl necklace hangs around its neck, with a shaking Super Stone at the bottom; its rhombus-shaped gem eyes and sharp teeth have a somewhat whimsical feel.

The ace appears.

Although Baimu believes Furong’s longer-accompanied Dusknoir feels more like an ace, it’s clear that Sableye’s strength surpasses it.

Strength is indeed an important factor in deciding an ace.

Under Furong’s deliberate arrangement, Sableye quickly initiates the first round of interference, dark rays shoot from its rhombus-shaped gem eyes, enveloping the attacking Altaria.

[Mischievous Heart] Trait.

It allows the release of transformation techniques at a faster pace, meaning the pre-cast and post-cast times of all its transformation techniques become almost negligible.

In the high skies, a bright moon’s shadow casts down a brilliant silver pillar but misses.

Sableye moves incredibly swiftly, continuously screeching at Altaria with its claws, taunting it, making it inevitably rise with an anger that can’t be dispelled by will alone.

Influenced by the anger, Altaria immediately transforms into a shining grenade, colorful light needles overwhelm Sableye.

However.

A light blue shield blocks the light needles’ rush.

Mischievous Heart, this fast?

Baimu feels surprised; the harmony between Sableye’s taunt and Defense feels like one move, making the well-placed Altaria dance to its tune.

But at this moment.

A blue light flashes within the field’s air, Altaria spreads its cotton wings and rises.

The Gravity Field has ended!

Furong stays unflustered, even showing joy as she directs Sableye to cast Electromagnetic Wave at Altaria, the quickly fired electric current soon entwining the latter’s body.

Mysterious Guardian should be used before Gravity Field; in her past battles with Genji, their durations were almost identical.

High in the sky.

Altaria covered with electric currents launches Magic Brilliance again at Sableye; colorful light needles successfully pierce through its body, seemingly penetrating a phantom.

But from Sableye’s slightly pained expression, it’s evident it was hit —

Furong still hasn’t used Super Evolution; her next order is [Bluff].

Increase Altaria’s physical attack and put it into a state of confusion.

After the colorful light fades.

Sableye shows no change, extensively displaying its intact figure, further enraging Altaria, flames of orange-red rolling.

A moment later.

Altaria in confusion begins to rampage, the occasional currents from its surface stiffening it, hardening it.

It’s not until this moment that Furong has Sableye start Super Evolution.
