Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1126: Chapter 670: Self-Destruct in a Dream_2

Kazuki was awarded the Pokémon Medical Award for the former, and was honored as a Ninja Master for the latter.

To this day, the Ninja Pharmaceutical Group he founded ranks among the top fifty in the Hoenn Region and the top five hundred in the world, and it recently announced medical resource assistance to the Ore Region.

The Hachimantai Ninja Dojo is also renowned in the Ninja Realm.

”Reputable as the ’Medical Ninja’ of Hoenn.”

Baimu grinned, amazed that he simulated a big name in the medical world, and the Ninja Boy... no, Mr. Kazuki later completely gave up Pokémon battles.

Ninjutsu, however, was fully developed and became quite famous in the relevant industry.

Previously, he knew nothing about ninjas and ninjutsu, so he even skipped over related information when he saw it; looking back now, there were indeed many short messages mentioning ninjas in the Poké Blogger.

He wondered if he would have the chance to meet the real Ninja Boy when he returned to Ore.

He noted the face a bit younger than Adam’s, opened the simulator, hesitated briefly, then chose the Weezing’s self-destruct memory.

Hope it’s not too exaggerated...

——

The next day.

Before dawn.

Genji walked onto the pitch-black deck, suddenly spotting a humanoid shadow crouched on the ship’s edge, looking down.

An ethereal song mingled with the faint sound of the tide.

Slightly eerie.

Genji walked calmly forward and asked, ”Not used to the hammock?”

”Captain Genji! Good morning!”

The figure turned to respond, revealing Baimu’s face under the dim light, though he looked a bit tired, as if he’d expended considerable mental energy.

He waved a hand and said, ”Just had a nightmare.”

Genji nodded slightly, glanced at the sea below, and saw a beautiful glowing Pokémon with golden scales singing softly.

Around it were various Water-type Pokémon, from Chinchou, Goldeen, Luvdisc to Wailmer, and more.

They surrounded the altered-color Milotic like loyal guards.

”Hold on a sec.”

Genji withdrew his gaze and headed for the cabin.

Baimu knew the Old Celestial King most likely went to make milk with added sugar, a habit of one cup each in the morning and evening persisted for decades.

”Ha...”

He continued to watch Milotic sing, seeking inner peace.

The memory of Weezing’s self-destruct had indeed a massive impact on him in all respects—why did the Big Explosion bring mental pleasure?

Absurd!

In the memory, Weezing’s body experienced a moment of tearing pain during the Big Explosion, but soon the mental pleasure overflowed like a filled pool, making him uncontrollably want to laugh.

Twisted, so twisted.

And it wasn’t just a single self-destruct in Weezing’s memory but multiple mixed self-destructs.

One explosion followed by another, and another, repeatedly.

When Baimu shook off the memory of Weezing’s self-destruct, he woke up at one o’clock in the morning, having been bombarded by dreams of Weezing’s nonstop explosions for four hours since he went to bed at nine.

Feeling unable to continue viewing the simulation, he drowsily went back to sleep, only to find his mind filled with images of self-destructs, so he got up to enjoy the sea breeze.

Milotic hadn’t slept, either, wanting to come out while shaking its Pokeball.

He thought it was hungry in the middle of the night, but it just wanted to look at the moon and sing another song, a habit formed in the Glazed Gym Eco Park that lingered to this day.

The Water-type Pokémon naturally came attracted by its song.

”Want a cup?”

Genji’s voice sounded as a steaming cup of milk suddenly appeared before him.

Baimu accepted it and thanked him, sipping it slowly.

With it down, warmth gradually surged throughout his body, greatly relaxing his mood.

Genji didn’t speak much, not being someone adept at idle chatter, but seeing the slightly tired young man’s expression beside him, he couldn’t help but say softly:

”Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, you’re still young, and the future is long, so adjust your mindset.”

Baimu was momentarily stunned, nodding, ”...Okay.”

The old man seemed to misunderstand something, but he couldn’t find a suitable excuse to respond.

He couldn’t possibly say that he was too happy from excessive self-destructs in a dream to sleep, right?

It felt like saying such would make Genji think he had a serious mental illness.

”Take care of yourself.”

Genji patted his shoulder as sailors and Pokémon trickled out of the cabin, yawning, with a golden light beginning to illuminate the sky.

”Milo?”

Milotic’s song ended.

The day was breaking, marking the end of its singing time.

The wild Water-type Pokémon reluctantly looked at it; Milotic itself seemed unaware of its popularity, smiling at them before leaping back to the deck.

”Milo~”

Milotic affectionately nudged Baimu’s cheek, leaving a large damp imprint.

A crowd of wild Pokémon on the sea cast envious glances, but rather than attack the large ship, they each dived away.

”Pelip! Pelip!”

A Pelipper on the mast turned into a crowing rooster, while several Machoke and Machamp brought tables and chairs, with the cook and some sailors following behind, carrying layered metal trays.

Breakfast time.

The Pokémon from Baimu’s cabin ran out and only calmed down upon seeing the Trainer on the deck, with the affectionate Hydreigon directly knocking him over, drawing good-natured laughter from the surrounding sailors.

”Silly dragon.”

He touched Hydreigon’s head helplessly.

Half an hour later.

A burst of golden light, as the sun slowly rose from the other side of the sea horizon.

Accompanied by resounding shouts.

The Fury set sail, continuing towards Ever Grande City, just two hours away.

Baimu stood at the bow of the ship, thinking that even though he had no plans to participate in the Champion Alliance, he still found himself returning to Ever Grande City, wondering how the media who recognized him would spin it.

But seeing the Hoenn Champion and Four Heavenly Kings battle firsthand—let them spin it however they like.

Mr. Da Wu!

You better prove yourself well!

He recalled Da Wu’s performance against Ash Ketchum in the Eight Masters Battle of the animation, mourning such a powerful champion who fell victim to budget constraints and unscrupulous writers.

He remembered hearing somewhere that the Eight Masters Battle’s writer, Futaka, originally planned to focus mainly on the Dan Emperor vs. Ash Ketchum finals, skipping the rest with static storyboards, but was instructed to write the Eight Masters Battle after the producer rejected the idea.

Judging from the final product, one needn’t mention the budget issues.

The script...

Whether it was enduring Comet Fist and Strong Mental Will still standing strong and blocking Cannon Light Cannon with a seventh of Ten Million Volts Pikachu.

Or Mega Metagross losing its combat strength after taking a three-seventh Ten Million Volts hit, allowing Pikachu to finish with an Iron Tail—each filled with inexhaustible points of criticism.

Baimu shook his head, dispersing distracting thoughts.

Soon.

An island with a bustling city at the edge of his vision grew larger, coming into view.

——

”Vice-captain Liang Guang, aren’t you going with him?”

Baimu curiously asked Liang Guang, who was seeing off Captain Genji alone, since he was the chief disciple and had provided car services before.

Why didn’t he react now?

Liang Guang smiled and said, ”The captain doesn’t like us following; he’s used to being alone on land, plus there’s a League car to pick him up. But why aren’t you going along? He surely wouldn’t mind if you went with him.”

He replied, ”Those friends I mentioned earlier have arrived, and I need to pick them up.”

Genji had informed Liang Guang about sending him and Otsuka, Cheng Hong, and others to Ore.

Upon hearing this, the vice-captain nodded and said, ”Alright, you can bring the people over once you pick them up; the second officer and I will arrange things for you.”

”Thank you very much.”

Baimu smiled.

Liang Guang gave him a hearty pat on the back, ”No need to be polite with me! You almost became our captain’s man!”

That remark...

Sounded weird.

Rubbing his back, Baimu walked into the city, the agreed meeting place being at Café headed by Mann Chong’s cousin.

Halfway along, a voice of surprise came.

”Baimu? What are you doing here?”

Following the voice, he saw inside a bustling ramen shop Bonnie in elegant attire holding a bowl larger than her face and boldly drinking soup, astonishing the surrounding people.

Next to her, Furong held a cup of iced water, sticking her tongue out as if from the spiciness.
