Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1127: Chapter 671: Celestial Kings Gather

”Furong Celestial King, Queen Bonnie.”

Baimu greeted them as he entered the noodle shop.

The other customers focused their gaze on him, and their expressions varied as they quietly gossiped.

As the city that hosts the League Conference and Champion Alliance, the residents here are multiple times more sensitive to related news than those in other cities.

What’s more, the news of Baimu ”giving up the competition” has already spread wildly.

He’s still in Ever Grande City after so many days?

”Didn’t you give up the competition? Changed your mind?”

Furong slurped her iced water noisily, and her straightforward words left everyone around them speechless.

Online speculation suggests that Baimu withdrew because he couldn’t defeat the Four Heavenly Kings. If that’s really the case, his pride might take a hit.

Will they end up arguing... or even fighting?!

The noodle shop customers eagerly slurped their noodles, yet their eyes remained locked on the group.

However, Baimu just shook his head and said, ”I came over with Captain Genji; he offered to give me and my friends a ride back to the Ore Region.”

”Grandpa Genji? Oh! His ship is indeed interesting! The last time I took it, I even encountered a Ghost Ship!”

Furong said with a smile.

Bonnie, having finished her hearty drink, put down her bowl. She elegantly wiped her mouth with a napkin and asked nonchalantly, ”Baimu, you really aren’t participating?”

”Not participating.”

Baimu was about to explain when the Pokeball at his waist began to shake violently.

Was it Sister Dragapult? Or was it Sister Dreepy?

He understood, releasing the unsuspecting Dragapult, who, as a social dinosaur, felt overwhelmed by the surrounding gazes and weakly vanished.

But the two Dreepy siblings in its launcher didn’t disappear with it, especially Sister Dreepy, who directly leapt at Furong adorned in her Southern-style attire.

”Heeya~!!”

Excitedly, it rubbed against Furong’s cheek; she had cared for it for so long, there was no way it would forget.

Furong was also pleasantly surprised, ”You remember me? You’ve grown bigger; looks like Baimu has raised you well!”

”Heeya~”

Sister Dreepy continued to cozily snuggle in Furong’s arms, while Brother Dreepy circled Bonnie before fleeing back to Baimu’s side.

The ”cold air” emanating from Bonnie was too intense for the Dragon Attribute to adapt to.

Bonnie glanced at Brother Dreepy, then at the ripples in the air, and remarked, ”Seems like that Dragapult has completely submitted to you. With such capabilities, why not participate in the competition?”

”My region needs me more than Hoenn does...”

Baimu noticed that Bonnie, for some reason, really wanted him to participate, so he replied, ”There will be more opportunities in the future; there are more competitions out there than just the Champion Alliance.”

He informed the two that he had urgent matters to attend to, taking his leave with the reluctant Sister Dreepy who refused to stay with Furong for a night, and the slightly bored Brother Dreepy.

The hidden Dragapult breathed a sigh of relief.

The confined space was too crowded with people; it was nearly suffocating.

Furong watched his back, complaining, ”Too bad, I was looking forward to battling him. I invited him to come play at God-sending Mountain with me before, but he never showed up.”

”Ore is very important to him, I can understand, since I also have strong feelings for my hometown,” Bonnie nodded.

She hailed from a remote land where winter reigns year-round, but the people there are warm-hearted and enthusiastic.

The noodle shop customers eagerly took back their gazes.

Baimu is so well-acquainted with two of the Hoenn Four Heavenly Kings ladies and even boarded the strongest of Hoenn’s Four Heavenly Kings, Captain Genji’s ship, and one of his Pokémon might even be from Furong Celestial King.

And listening to their conversation, it’s clearly at a friend level.

Plus, with Bonnie and Furong encouraging Baimu to compete earlier, how could he possibly be weak? Otherwise, why would the Four Heavenly Kings repeatedly urge him!

Some people couldn’t eat anymore, rushing to pay the bill and share what happened in the noodle shop with friends.

Moments later.

In the midst of the commotion, almost half of the noodle shop’s customers walked out.

The noodle shop owner was left dumbfounded.

”Grand General! Another bowl!” Bonnie said boldly; she loved eating Mauville City’s assorted noodles and Ever Grande City’s ramen and always had several bowls each visit.

Upon hearing her voice, the noodle shop owner cast aside the fleeing customers, showcasing a bright smile, ”Please wait a moment! It’ll be ready soon!”

---

Café.

Cousin Mann Chong and several staff members once again warmly welcomed Baimu.

”So sorry about this...”

He looked at the cake where only two Dreepy tails were visible, along with the mouthful-stuffing Altered-color Gengar whose cheeks puffed up from the mille-feuille, and the inexplicably vanishing pancakes, and sighed internally.

Though he did usually restrict snacks, especially those high in oil and sugar.

But their behavior was making him lose face, making it seem like he mistreats his Pokémon daily!

”It’s fine, you’re the champion winner who left behind photos here, so it’s on the house!”

Cousin Mann Chong said with a cheerful smile.

At this moment.

She glanced aside and said while backing away, ”Looks like your friend has arrived; enjoy your food. Let me know if you need more.”

Baimu turned around, and saw the disheveled, slouched, and swaggering, blonde-haired Otsuka appear at the end of the street.

A dully colored Krokorok with similar demeanor followed behind him.

As their eyes met, Otsuka’s face showed a brief moment of panic, his hunched back immediately straightened, and his expression became serious.

”Boss!”

He waved cheerfully.

Baimu nodded in response, not minding this guy’s rowdy vibes since some habits are indeed hard to change in a short time, ”Didn’t Cheng Hong and the others come along with you?”
