Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1132: Chapter 673: Celestial King Civil War_2

Baimu shook his head. The Four Heavenly Kings have been familiar with each other for years and know each other’s strategies and characteristics. Just now, Huayue was merely trying his luck to take down Glalie before the Big Explosion, but the damage was insufficient, resulting in both sides going down together.

Ultimately resulting in a tie.

Now both sides have only one left, but there is a clear gap between the remaining Pokémon, for instance, Mightyena cannot hurt Walrein at all.

Huayue’s Mightyena leans towards Physical Attack, but Bonnie’s Walrein is least afraid of Physical Attack.

The first championship alliance internal battle among the Four Heavenly Kings ended with Mightyena once again being taken down by Walrein’s Pounce.

”Difference beyond the trump card...”

Baimu was silent; the main Pokémon of Huayue and Bonnie have differences, a point that mirrors his own situation.

Excluding the trump card Pokémon, apart from Hydreigon and Mawile, the remaining main Pokémon have a significant strength gap. Blissey barely holds up, yet it’s only just barely.

Need to find a way to improve the strength of the other Pokémon.

He pondered carefully.

——

Not long after Huayue and Bonnie left the field, Furong and Genji appeared successively.

This combination of old and young once again stirred the enthusiasm of the audience.

Both sides’ opening.

Dusknoir versus Altaria.

Just like in the last round with Huayue and Bonnie, Furong’s tactical style and characteristics are also obvious — primarily focusing on interference with Transformation Techniques.

To be honest, many of Furong’s tactics could be countered with [Taunt].

Unfortunately, none of Genji’s main dragon Pokémon seem to know how to Taunt, resulting in Dusknoir conveniently dodging Dragon’s Pulse like a ghost and cursing Altaria, sacrificing half of its health.

He can only choose to switch.

The effects brought on by curses can’t be overcome by mere willpower, and Genji can’t let the Pokémon work in vain.

Immediately.

Baimu’s familiar dragon, Flygon, appeared.

And the well-prepared Dusknoir hurled Ghost Fire like grenades onto Flygon, taking advantage of its surprise entrance to attach it with an abnormal status without allowing it time to react.

Exchanging half health for an abnormal status — is this a loss or a gain?

From Furong’s bright smile on the screen, she clearly considers this a great gain.

The battle further unfolds.

Although Ghost Fire reduces Flygon’s Physical Attack, its Special Attack is by no means weaker, Genji’s hexagonal Pokémon are a constant existence and will not vanish due to the opponent’s changes.

Familiar Sandstorm combined with Quicksand Hell.

It isolates Aerial Rotom’s reconnaissance and the Trainer from the Pokémon.

Dusknoir neither excels in speed nor uses Hidden Spirit Strike, thus naturally getting stuck inside the Tornadus without escaping.

It adeptly releases [Gravity].

In an instant.

Terrifying pressure descends on the field, affecting not only Flygon with its floating Trait but also compressing the originally sky-bound Tornadus.

The sacrifice for Dusknoir is its inability to use ghost floating power. Even if it cannot escape the Tornadus, at least Flygon’s attack directions are greatly reduced.

The thought is marvelous.

Unfortunately, Flygon does not merely follow blindly, demonstrating Lightning Flash again which previously infuriated Hydreigon, causing Flygon to transform into a dazzling white, maintaining tremendous speed despite being grounded.

It confuses Dusknoir’s sight, rushing forward to strike its belly with Dragon Tail.

Boom!

The technique hits.

Dusknoir stubbornly withstands the ferocious blow, struggling not to be swallowed by the Quicksand Wall behind, trying to counterattack with a punch.

Unfortunately, before its fist could hit, it has already turned into red light, flying out of the Tornadus and entering the Pokeball at Furong’s waist.

Simultaneously.

Another predetermined Pokeball on her hip is forced open, sending the sinister Death God Coffin straight into the sandstorm-ridden field.

The reaction of the Death God Coffin was already quick, instantly retreating with ghostly limbs as it landed.

Yet, Flygon, waiting for its chance, would not let it go easily; despite being in a burnt state, its gathered Spiritual Qi remains intact.

No matter that the floating Trait loses effect due to Gravity, Quicksand Hell also harms itself, still Flygon uses Lightning Flash to burst out of the Tornadus and slam the substantial-form casket of the Death God Coffin into it!

Puff!

Strong wind forces from double Tornadus leave the Death God Coffin spinning helplessly; Flygon outside the Tornadus predicts the Death God Coffin’s spinning trajectory, blasting a Dragon’s Pulse at close range!

Boom!!

In the midst of the violent explosion, the terrifying Tornadus collapsed, and Aerial Rotom captured the scene and transmitted it to the big screen.

The audience, under the half-deduction and half-guessing commentary, learned the situation inside the arena.

”This tactic is indeed quite cheeky.”

Baimu recalled the previous scene where he lost connection with Dragapult, then looked at Furong’s sighing expression in the arena, a bit surprised she couldn’t crack it...

Alright.

Once this offensive tactic takes shape, it’s indeed very difficult to unravel.

Coincidentally, Genji’s Pokémon has its physical qualities and will completely maxed out, making it not easy to disrupt its assault.

Unexpectedly.

The Death God Coffin is still tough, having endured a Dragon’s Pulse up close and being scraped by Tornadus for a while, it somehow stood firm, with a Species Value exceeding a hundred in both defenses, this Pokémon is quite powerful.

Furong probably has focused on cultivating its special skills in these two areas.

Offensive ability?

”Power Division!”

Furong gave the answer.

The Death God Coffin used black tentacles to entwine Flygon, obtaining the attack and special attack it had accumulated day and night through training, while also deploying the second secret skill when struck by Flygon with Dragon’s Pulse.

”Share Suffering!”

Flygon has already been tormented for a while in a burnt state, its stamina isn’t particularly healthy, but the Death God Coffin having taken two consecutive Dragon’s Pulses is even less healthy.

The battle seems to shift slightly back towards Furong’s favor—

On the surface, it seems like this.

Baimu knew, when the two Pokémon’s stamina reaches the brink, it boils down to a battle of will, with the Death God Coffin very likely unable to outlast Flygon.

Unless it bursts out like Hydreigon with a Big Explosion.

Furong seems to understand this, she’s even worried about something else, actually giving up on continuing to disrupt with transformation techniques, letting the Death God Coffin use Misfortune Never Comes Alone on Flygon.

Flygon dodged with Lightning Flash, with gravity still in the arena it couldn’t fly, nor dared to use Feather Rest to give the Death God Coffin a chance to Share Suffering and regain stamina.

Both sides were in a stalemate for a while.

Under normal circumstances, the Death God Coffin in a non-abnormal state should be less afraid of dragging out time compared to Flygon, which would eventually fall to the burnt state.

Some things just happen to be so wondrous.

When the gravity field disappears, the Death God Coffin attempted to use Shadow Strike to eliminate Flygon, unexpectedly, the opponent suddenly burst out with an extremely terrifying speed, flashing behind it, and striking the ground with both claws using Power of the Earth to blast Death God Coffin into the sky!

The entire audience exclaimed.

Baimu was equally astonished, ”Scene re-enactment!? Is this explosion process fixed?”

The speed of Flygon’s Lightning Flash just now was clearly equal to the speed that almost defeated Hydreigon before!

He previously thought this sudden burst belonged to a once-in-a-lifetime small burst, but it turns out to be a fixed explosive skill refined by Captain Genji?

Must go back and check!

Thinking that Dragapult also uses Lightning Flash, Baimu couldn’t help feeling a bit eager.

In the arena.

Without a doubt, the Death God Coffin lost its ability to fight, unable to even use Shared Fate, Flygon’s speed severely surpassed its reaction capability.

Furong’s helpless expression seemed to prove her earlier ”rush”, was indeed to prevent Flygon’s burst.

Failed to prevent it.

The gap between the leader of the Four Heavenly Kings and the ordinary Celestial King becomes apparent.

Dusknoir makes another appearance.

Welcoming it was Flygon, which had recovered a certain state with Feather Rest, and this time Furong didn’t dare to fight again, obediently using Body Freeze Technique.

Flygon’s combat power was largely tied to Lightning Flash, and the previous Power Division wasn’t nullified due to Death God Coffin’s downfall.

Dusknoir took the opportunity to use Black Gaze, preventing Genji from swapping it out, and finally used Mysterious Light and Frozen Fist successfully.

”Seems the state is back.”

Baimu observed that all the Four Heavenly Kings have a big heart, regardless of how chaotic their pace is, or how unfavorable their situation is, they would not collapse in mentality.

This often enables them to reverse a dire situation.

Altaria makes another appearance, swiftly using Mysterious Guardian to block Mysterious Light but failing to block Dusknoir from activating another Gravity Field.

Stripped of flying ability, it was forced to transform into Torchic.
