Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1122: Chapter 669: Medical Ninja

[You can’t believe you actually lost in the Gym Battle]

Except for the first challenge at Mauville Gym, where he was defeated by Tie Xuan due to lack of battle experience and intelligence gathering, Ninja Boy hadn’t lost before.

But the temporary predicament did not cause Ninja Boy to feel downcast. Rather, it made him calm down after rushing here at full speed.

[You start looking for ways to break through Glazed Gym]

The narrator indicates that Ninja Boy, guided step by step by the Ninja’s Book, lacks nothing more than patience when facing failure.

Being adept at learning, he didn’t close himself off but actively sought advice from other Trainers on various tips for nurturing Pokémon.

Ninja Boy even set his sights on Adam.

Unfortunately, the latter is too popular with strong power. Every day, a large number of Trainers come to challenge him, leaving Ninja Boy no chance to approach Adam.

[You are forced to give up this plan]

Seeing this line of narration, Baimu’s expression is slightly complicated.

What kind of strange experience is it to almost become brothers with the simulation object? If Teacher Adam had the same personality when he was young as he does now, there’s no way he would refuse Ninja Boy’s request.

However, if they really became connected, it would probably be simpler to contact the real Ninja Boy in the future.

Within the light screen.

Ninja Boy tries all kinds of ways to enhance the strength of his six Pokémon, and through his efforts, the last member to join, Golbat, evolved.

[Your Golbat evolved into Crobat]

A major characteristic of Crobat is its wings making very little noise while flying, allowing it to quietly and quickly approach opponents, perfectly fitting the sneak attack ninjutsu.

Plus, with its own paralysis-inducing toxin, it’s yet another Pokémon well suited to Ninja Boy’s specialties.

This leaves him pleasantly surprised, enhancing his commitment to training it.

The scene flashes by.

Thanks to the countless Trainers coming to challenge Adam, Ninja Boy is never short of opponents to improve his battle awareness, but no matter how many battles he engages in, his tactical choice remains singular—

Sneak attack plus poisoning.

This intriguing combat method makes many Trainers, even if they beat him, refuse to fight him too many times, claiming it’s too tedious and only adds to their frustration.

Ninja Boy has no awareness of bothering others and pesters them for more battles.

Soon after.

The flashes and acceleration of the scene stop.

With all Pokémon in the team trained, a renewed Ninja Boy steps once again through the doors of Glazed Gym.

[You initiate your second challenge against Glazed Gym]

The Pokémon Adam chooses remain unchanged, and the crude simulation can’t fully convey his extraordinary technique from the Gorgeous Competition.

But that’s okay.

Familiar with Teacher Adam, Baimu can fill in the gaps in the imagination.

He even imagines the expression of the pixel character in the simulation when it poses elegantly; such is the deep impression Adam has left.

Baimu shakes his head, refocusing on Ninja Boy.

This guy also challenges with the same lineup as before, but his power has visibly transformed.

The stealth techniques of Shedinja and Kecleon have grown more eerie, cooperating with the Shadow Clone and Substitute techniques to the point that even Adam is fooled.

When Adam’s humid trait Pokémon is defeated,

The Self-destruct Demon Weezing takes the stage grandly. The terrifying Big Explosion leaves only the brilliance of the explosion in the simulation. The intense flash makes Baimu instinctively turn his head and squint, drawing curious looks from the Altered-color Gengar beside him.

”Geh?”

Is the Trainer’s book eye-burning to read? Why this expression?

It shoves its large head between Baimu and the book spread on the table, squinting and winking as it peers for a while...

Hmm.

Can’t understand.

Gengar turns to try to get face-to-face with the Trainer.

”Go play by yourself! I’ll play games with you once I’ve finished reading!”

Baimu grabs its pointed ear and pulls to the side. Gengar immediately obediently slides away, fishing out two game consoles from its belly with anticipation as it watches Baimu’s back.

Rather than playing alone as a Ghost, it prefers playing games with the Trainer; it’s much more fun that way.

In the simulator.

During Gengar’s joking around, Ninja Boy loses only two Pokémon but defeats four of Adam’s Water-type Pokémon.

[You have defeated Glazed Gym Leader Adam, obtaining the Glazed Badge]

The tournament qualification is now in hand.

Looking at the eight badges in the collection box, surrounded by smiling Pokémon, this is the second thing besides ninjutsu that he’s earnestly worked towards and achieved some success.

The upcoming tournament will determine whether he can accomplish something fitting of his ninja identity, henceforth becoming a ninja capable of awakening his grandfather.

[You miss your grandfather, but you know you cannot return to Verdanturf City yet because if anyone discovers the existence of Kecleon and the others, all you’ve recently done would be exposed]

Ninja Boy doesn’t forget that his age is altered; returning home bears the high risk of capture.

But as there is still some time before the tournament,

He decides to turn to the Veteran Gym Leader of Shuijing City, whose warmth and friendliness remain unforgettable, with strength that can help him continue to grow during the interim.

Scene transitions.

Ninja Boy boards a ship returning to Shuijing City.

[You ask Shuijing Gym Leader to shelter you for a few days, and he readily agrees, happily discussing with you how to utilize Pokémon venom and plants to create potent poisons]

[Your toxicology has received new insights]
