Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1114: Chapter 665: Naruto

Kanaz Port.

Amidst the many modernized steel-hulled ships lined up, a gigantic black medieval-style full-rigged ship stood out conspicuously, yet it captured the attention brilliantly.

Travelers and passersby often cast curious glances at it.

It was not only because it was rare to witness a medieval-style sailing ship at the dock, but also due to the captain standing beneath this vessel.

”This big guy here is my ship—the Fury. What do you think?”

Genji, with his jacket open and letting the sea wind caress him, tilted his head and asked. His stern and cold face showed a barely noticeable trace of pride.

Baimu complimented, ”It’s absolutely magnificent! I never imagined that the sailing ships from films could be this impressive! I can’t wait to get on board!”

”Chidoo!”

Mawile nodded in agreement.

It recalled a medieval romance drama it had watched earlier, wherein the pirate ship looked somewhat similar, albeit not as majestic as this one.

Baimu was also curious why Genji would choose to sail with a sailing vessel, but now, seeing it in person, he understood the unique beauty that modern steel giants couldn’t compare to.

It’s not an exaggeration to call it a work of art.

”Hahaha! You have a good eye!” Genji laughed heartily, lightly patting Baimu’s back. His laughter and friendly gestures left the first mate Liang Guang beside him utterly astonished.

How many years has it been since their captain laughed so heartily?

Due to Genji’s outwardly cold but warm-hearted character, it was rare in everyday life for the crew to witness him express his emotions so flamboyantly. To even see him smile occasionally was quite rare.

It seemed that this recently famed young Trainer was indeed highly regarded by the captain.

Liang Guang thought, glancing again at the surrounding wild Trainers who were extremely admiring of the captain’s status as one of the Four Heavenly Kings but did not dare to approach at all, he shook his head helplessly.

With such ’poor’ public relations, the captain was indeed unique among the Four Heavenly Kings.

He strived to put on a smiling face and ushered the two on board.

Deck.

All visible areas were of wooden structure, where several sailors clad in sailor stripes were loudly calling out as they carried out the final preparations. Several Machoke and Machamp carried large and small wooden crates.

Under Genji’s arrangements, Baimu was taken on a tour of the Fury’s interior and exterior environment by the captain’s top disciple—the first mate Liang Guang.

Through his introduction, Baimu came to know that the Fury had actually undergone modern modifications, boasting excellent engines beneath its wooden exterior, capable of propelling this colossal vessel with a speed comparable to an average passenger cruise liner.

Therefore, there was no need to worry that the journey would take more time.

Baimu didn’t know much about ships, but he understood that thanks to the black technology of the Pokémon World, not to mention making a sailing ship compete in speed with a cruise liner, it wouldn’t even be surprising to see a sailing ship take off.

Nothing is impossible, just hard to imagine.

You just have to get used to it.

They wandered around for two laps.

Liang Guang led Baimu and Mawile to the arranged room.

”This is your room. The living conditions on the ship can’t compare to those on land, so I hope you don’t mind too much.” He turned on the light in the room and spoke softly.

But in fact.

Apart from the low ceiling, with natural light solely dependent on the small head-sized window, the interior space was quite spacious, wide enough to even fit a coiled Giant Steelix.

”Chidoo?”

Mawile curiously surveyed the surroundings, its eyes eventually landing on a hammock. It glanced at the Trainer, feeling a bit eager.

Baimu gave it a look, saying, ”It’s already great, thank you for your trouble.”

”You’re welcome... You should get used to the environment first. If you need anything, come find me on the deck, and I’ll do my best to arrange it for you.”

Liang Guang displayed a slight smile, nodded slightly, and then retreated.

As the first mate, he was quite busy before setting sail. It was only following the captain’s request that he took the time to show Baimu around the ship’s facilities.

”Chidoo~”

Mawile, seeing Liang Guang leave, impatiently jumped onto the hammock, its body swaying back and forth with the swinging of the hammock.

This contraption reminded it of a swing the Trainer had made for it when they lived in Pyrite Town, though who knows if they’ll ever see it again when they return.

The Trainer said most of the houses in Pyrite Town had been demolished...

It looked up at Baimu, finding the latter sitting on a barrel-like stool, making a phone call, with phrases like ”Time to assemble,” ”Yes, the tasks are done,” ”Coming back soon,” heard from time to time.

Were those the silly kids?

Mawile remembered that the silly human kids who used to follow behind them seemed to have also come here, ready to leave together.

Were they finally heading back?

Mawile propped its chin with its hand, eyes sparkling, squinting slightly.

It didn’t feel much of a sense of belonging to Ore, only remembering it as a place without beauty salons, cute dolls, or nice accessories, with an eternally hot climate and even the sky was tinted yellow by sand.

But the Trainer and Aggron seemed very eager to return...

It didn’t matter.

It just wanted to stay by the Trainer and its partners, wherever they went would be the same.

Mawile jumped off the hammock, instinctively reaching into the bag behind the Trainer to take out its phone. Halfway through, it remembered its prior decision to cut down on drama time and focus more on training.

Why couldn’t it resist?

It pulled its hand back anxiously, heading to the empty space nearby to spin in circles, then used Electromagnetic Levitation to spin in the air, resembling a small yellow and black spinning top.

Baimu put down the phone, ”?”

What was with this girl?

Suddenly.

Buzz!

A sense of vibration came from below, a loud shouting sounded outside. Looking through the circular small window, a nearby cargo ship was slowly advancing forward.

They set sail!

Baimu realized the Fury was leaving the port, hurriedly taking the now stationary Mawile to the deck to witness the magnificent scene of the robust mast being lowered with the sailors and Machoke co-operating to spread the gigantic beige sails, pushed backward slowly by an invisible wind.
