Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1128: Chapter 671: Gathering of Celestial Kings (Part 2)

”We’re all acting separately, look! How about this Krokorok? I got it by trading with someone for a Marill that I happened to catch!”

Otsuka said proudly.

He always liked Ground Attribute, and naturally used Rollout as a big move, so trading Marill for Krokorok was normal for him.

Baimu had trained Pokémon for a long time but had never traded with anyone.

The main reason was that he couldn’t bear to part with any of them.

”It’s alright, it suits you well.” He glanced at the Krokorok, who seemed a bit tempted by the cake on the table, and inadvertently patted Gengar’s behind.

”Heh?”

Gengar, with cheeks bigger than its eyes, was in a daze and then spotted Krokorok following the trainer’s gaze, smiling and inviting it to join the feast.

Krokorok was initially a bit reserved, frequently glancing at its trainer.

It wasn’t until he nodded that Krokorok eagerly picked up a cream puff to munch on.

”Awesome!”

Otsuka sat down excitedly, sharing his recent experiences, ”Boss! I challenged a Gym these last two days, and it was so weak! Back in our place, it wouldn’t even compare to a Squad Leader, can you call that a Hall Master?”

”Idiot, they saw you didn’t have a badge, so they purposely used low-level Pokémon.”

Baimu glanced at him.

As they chatted idly.

The rest of the group arrived one after another, and by the different Pokémon they brought along, it was clear that everyone had something to show for this period of time.

After all, outside the Ore Region, you don’t need to spend money to catch Ground Pokémon, nor do you need to rack your brains to please or coax them; you can capture them by simply tossing a Pokéball once you see them.

Baimu noticed that compared to before, the group looked more like ordinary young trainers, nodding in satisfaction.

Thinking back, the people of Ore always had an air of hardship and bitterness.

The influence of the living environment is truly significant.

He took a sip of coffee and shared his plans with everyone, asking for their thoughts.

Before traveling through the mainstream regions, they might have been focused on bringing him back, but now, after traveling for more than two weeks and seeing the big world outside, they might not be in such a hurry to leave.

However.

”The Four Heavenly Kings? Will the Hoenn Four Heavenly Kings send us back?”

”The Four Heavenly Kings are quite powerful, right?”

”Of course, they’re incredibly strong! A thousand times stronger than the old leader of the Quicksand Team! They’re on a whole different level!”

”Baimu, you battled that Four Heavenly King, didn’t you? Did you win?”

They all excitedly exchanged remarks with each other.

Cheng Hong has always been blindly idolizing Baimu as a little follower, and that hasn’t changed. To him, although the Four Heavenly Kings are indeed powerful, if they faced his boss, they’d definitely lose.

”You certainly have faith in me, but yes, I did win.”

Baimu nodded helplessly and asked, ”Aren’t you planning to stay in Hoenn a bit longer?”

Otsuka and the others shook their heads decisively, ”We came here to bring you back. Even if we want to travel, we have to send you back first; otherwise, we can’t give a proper explanation to everyone.”

No matter what, they refused to let him return alone and insisted on accompanying him.

Baimu had no choice but to nod and, seeing the table’s desserts consumed by the Pokémon, got up and said, ”Alright, let’s go check in on the ship first. Be attentive later and remember to be polite. And don’t call anyone the boss... You can call them big brother, or better yet, use their title.”

”Yes!”

Their loud response startled passersby.

A moment later.

Aboard the Fury.

Liang Guang was startled by the young lads standing in a row, bowing and calling him First Mate. Looking at Baimu, he asked, ”Are these your friends?”

”Ore’s distinctiveness, don’t mind it too much.”

Baimu patted his shoulder.

Otsuka and the others, realizing they might have frightened them, quickly apologized in unison.

Amid the laughter of other crew members, Liang Guang slapped his forehead and advised, ”All right, all right, get your backs straight already.”

Having followed Genji for years and seen all kinds of people, he was at a loss for how to interact with this group now.

This bunch of young lads then scurried off with Baimu to greet other crew members, leaving him quite impressed.

However.

Liang Guang actually quite liked them; they were strong, loud, and polite.

After a brief consideration, he approached them and asked, ”Are you interested in being temporary sailors? Just from today until the day you disembark.”

”Sailors?”

Otsuka and the others looked at each other; this term, almost non-existent in Pyrite Town, was a bit beyond their understanding.

Liang Guang quickly explained.

He also enumerated the benefits of becoming sailors, such as seeing more scenery, strengthening resolve and physique, and how the Pokémon trained would become stronger, among other things.

Having heard this, they all looked at their leader Baimu.

Baimu widened his eyes, ”Why are you looking at me? They were asking you!”

”Ah! Oh, oh, oh! Okay, okay!”

They quickly agreed.

The main reason for agreeing was the last point; the more Otsuka and the others understood the outside world, the clearer it became which direction Baimu was heading.

They didn’t want to be ”left behind,” so they were determined to keep up with him.

The First Mate mentioned that being sailors could make their Pokémon stronger, so they naturally wouldn’t refuse.

”Great! No time like the present—why not start today!”

Enthusiastically, Liang Guang called the crew over to guide the newcomers. Whenever there were newcomers, they would always assign a senior, and Otsuka and the others were no exception.

Seeing this, Baimu quietly asked if arranging new sailors without Genji’s approval was appropriate.

Liang Guang assured him that in the past two years, almost all new trainers on board had been recruited by him, and Genji hadn’t invited anyone aboard in a long time.

He had the authority to arrange new sailors.

”That’s good.” Baimu nodded, feeling his concerns were unwarranted. The First Mate had been with Genji for so long; he wouldn’t act recklessly.

”Do you want to give it a try?”

Liang Guang extended an invitation.

He shook his head in refusal and pulled out his phone to check the time.

A familiar voice suddenly sounded from behind him.

”Lord Baimu!”

Baimu was momentarily stunned, then realized what was happening and looked down from the ship, only to see Da Wu, dressed in a black suit, one hand on his hip, smiling at him.

”Mr. Da Wu!”

He happily disembarked, ”Did you come by boat, too?”

Da Wu shifted aside, revealing a high-tech speedboat, ”I took a plane back to Mossdeep City first, then a speedboat here. I didn’t expect to see you on Captain Genji’s ship.”

Baimu replied, ”We met by chance, and Captain Genji agreed to give me a ride. Doesn’t the match start in the afternoon? Is it okay for you to not be there?”

”No rush, and my ride’s already here. Want a lift?”

Da Wu said with a faint smile.

Baimu, eager to see the Champion Alliance in person, would never decline, but first, he wanted to ask Otsuka and the others if they were interested. Watching a live battle between the Four Heavenly Kings and the Champion wasn’t a frequent opportunity.

To his surprise, these guys had no interest.

Instead of spending time watching battles between unfamiliar Kings and the Champion, they’d rather wait to cheer for Baimu when he was on stage.

”Swine don’t appreciate pearls...”

Baimu sighed as he boarded the car arranged for Da Wu alone.

On the way to the stadium.

Like Bonnie, Da Wu expressed regret over someone not participating in the Champion Alliance. Battling him had been a long-time desire of the Hoenn Champion.

Naihe, Baimu did not bring it up. He was reluctant to initiate, fearing it would look like bullying a novice trainer.

”There’ll be a chance, there’ll be a chance.”

Baimu was now intensely looking forward to the Pokémon World Championship.

Turning the conversation.

They discussed the Super Stone mine in the Ice Cave. Its reserves were extraordinarily large, but deciding to mine required careful consideration.

The Ice Cave was home to many Wild Pokémon, and reckless mining could damage the local natural environment and ecosystem. A method was being discussed currently.

”The Carlos Alliance refuses to contract with us, yet De Wen Company excels in the mining industry and would undoubtedly complete the task.”

Da Wu was helpless; for a stone enthusiast, having a treasure you couldn’t mine was indeed painful.

Baimu could understand the Carlos Alliance.

It was merely a sovereignty issue.

Had Da Wu simply been the Young Master of De Wen Company, it would be fine, but as the Champion of the Hoenn Region, his status made it impossible for the Carlos Alliance to hand over tasks within their jurisdiction to Da Wu’s side.

Soon.

They arrived at the stadium.

Countless fans of Da Wu and match spectators surrounded the car, leaving no room to move.
