Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 749: Chapter 499: Liuli Tournament (Part 3)

”I’ll use Milotic, feel free to choose yours.”

He patted the head of the Altered-color Milotic, which let out a pleased low hum and gracefully moved forward, ”Mii~”

The Mohawk glanced at the stunning Altered-color Milotic, suppressing the desire in his eyes, and pulled out a Pokeball, ”Just battling isn’t interesting, is it? How about some stakes?”

”Win first, then we can talk about stakes.”

Baimu smiled slightly.

The Bosozoku often pick fights with others, not without reason. Forcing others to trade Pokémon through battles is one of those reasons.

Kids with a weaker disposition might fall for their tricks, but if they just muster the courage to call Miss Jun Sha, what can the Bosozoku do? They can only run like Bunnelby chased by police cars and Growlithes.

”You said it!”

The Mohawk’s eyes lit up, and he quickly tossed the Pokeball forward.

Bam!

A flash of light.

A humanoid Pokémon with yellow and black fur appeared, its fists clashing with loud crackling of electricity.

Elekid Pokémon, Electabuzz.

”Bohu!”

It stared arrogantly at the Altered-color Milotic.

Baimu’s expression remained calm. In his eyes, the Electabuzz was somewhat ugly. Its pre-evolution, Elekid, was cute, like a little plug.

The evolved Electivire was also impressive, becoming a symbol of power with Shinji’s filter.

”Hehehehe, see that? This is what you call an Electric-type Pokémon! Kid, let me show you what real Thunder is all about!”

The Mohawk shouted, ”Thunder!”

”Bohu!”

The Electabuzz roared, raising its fists high, channels of electricity converging between its antenna-like appendages. Under the shocked eyes of onlookers, it launched a thunderbolt as thick as a barrel at the unruffled Altered-color Milotic!

Crash!

The terrifying thunderclap made many people cover their ears, watching the Altered-color Milotic, hoping it would show the agility it had against the Pichu. Yet, it stood still like a statue.

The lightning hit its body, causing it to let out a slightly pained cry. Seeing this, the Mohawk couldn’t help but burst into wild laughter.

”Hahaha!”

The other Bosozoku joined in, cheering more crazily for their leader.

A little girl in the crowd covered her mouth in shock, while the Pichu in her arms looked worriedly at the Milotic.

But.

Baimu’s expression didn’t change at all, as if it wasn’t his Pokémon that had been hit.

”Mirror Coat.”

He said softly.

As soon as the words were spoken.

The Altered-color Milotic, which was in pain moments ago, instantly regained its calmness. Its body began to glow with a radiant light, absorbing the thunder like a jade stone.

Then, it retaliated against the Electabuzz from afar!

Boom!!

The thunder, now twice as large as before, startled everyone present, including the laughing Bosozoku.

In the explosive crash, smoke engulfed the Electabuzz.

Yet soon, it staggered out of the dust, like a drunk old man, tumbling forward, clearly losing its ability to fight in that single blow.

”Bohu...”

The Bosozoku’s expressions froze on their faces.

”Mii~”

The Altered-color Milotic watched this with satisfaction, its eyes squinting while its tail flicked, just like a triumphant fox.

Look! All that effort to master Mirror Coat wasn’t in vain!

A few seconds later.

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause!
