Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 747: Chapter 499: The Grand Festival

Not long after.

Laisa reluctantly removed the Super Bracelet from the test stand after recording all its data and structure.

Although the scanned data alone could help them avoid many detours, if they could completely dismantle it...

She discreetly touched the bracelet.

”Ahem!”

Da Wu suddenly coughed low, startling her to the point where she almost dropped it, and a touch of resentful expression involuntarily appeared on her face.

”Quickly return it, don’t get caught.”

The young master of De Wen Company forcibly took the Super Bracelet and handed it back to Baimu beside him, saying: ”Although this counts as evidence, keeping it will only alarm the enemy.”

He ignored Laisa’s reluctant expression.

”You’re right.”

Baimu nodded; he never intended to treat the Super Bracelet as decisive evidence, just wanted Da Wu to be more serious.

Upon close investigation not long ago, he found out that Fladari’s ties to the upper echelons of Carlos were deeper than he imagined, with major enterprises that were never mentioned in games or animations investing in this guy’s research institute.

Moreover, Fladari indeed had the identity of a former royal heir of Carlos...

To be honest, trying to preemptively take down this guy was no easier than proving Ash Ketchum was actually a villain. One was true, the other false.

”...Baimu.”

Da Wu suddenly called out to him as he was about to leave, hesitated for a moment, then said: ”Next time if you find anything suspicious, talk to me... okay?”

From his perspective, reckless individuals were like ticking bombs that might self-destruct at any unexpected moment, and Da Wu would definitely feel immense regret and self-blame if that happened.

Da Wu even vaguely felt that Baimu came to the Hoenn Region as a result of their casual chats in Ore, promising him a gift and thus encouraging him to embark on an adventure.

He had an obligation to be responsible for this.

”Alright.”

Baimu replied with a smile, hurriedly returning to Ailan’s ward and quietly swapped back the Super Bracelet.

Before leaving, he glanced at the sleeping Ailan.

If this young lad weren’t too immature, he would have thought of recruiting him; the saying love deeply and criticize fiercely applies, as the impact on him when the truth about Fladari is revealed would be immense.

Absolutely a great recruitment target.

Unfortunately, it’s not easy to convert him; once he hesitates, exposure is likely, complicating matters from a 6+ storyline to possibly an 18+.

Trust your companions.

The next day.

After making all the current preparations.

Baimu bid farewell to Da Wu and the recently awakened Ailan and others.

Time was not on his side.

He had to set off for Glazed City to compete in the Mikoli Cup and challenge the Glazed Gym; these two matches would determine whether he could earn tickets to the region’s top events.

But Mikoli Cup...

Perhaps he would encounter Xiaoyao? Anyway, Xiaoguang, Liuqia, and Wula La were guaranteed to be there; these individuals were active in the Hoenn Region.

How about Alice? Would she join in the fun?

Baimu slightly anticipated, then suddenly realized he knew too many underage girls? No, no, he had to quickly contact Tetsuya.

But considering Tetsuya’s sister was his fan, she definitely wouldn’t miss such a significant event like the Mikoli Cup.

”A reunion of acquaintances, top events are simply fantastic.”

He boarded the ferry to Glazed City, gazing into the calm sea.

Recently, he’s been bothering Hoopa too often, even though Hoopa shows no resentment, always energetically asking for donuts whenever arriving, he himself felt a bit embarrassed.

Thus, he decided like the Divine Heart, not to abuse Hoopa’s rings unless the situation was urgent.

And after just one night.

The sea near Kanaz City completely regained its calm, as if the battle between Primordial Groudon and Primordial Kyogre never happened, but the newly appeared black rock island and scattered icebergs proved that yesterday’s events were not an illusion.

More and more people arrived at Kanaz City, the site of the incident; they believed that even if they couldn’t see the two Super Ancient Pokémon, it’s worthwhile to witness the battlefield they left behind.

On the other hand.

The organizers of the Mikoli Cup were also promoting it, attracting numerous Coordinator Trainers to embark on the journey to Glazed City.

Which made the ferry Baimu was on a bit crowded.

This was rarely seen before.

Baimu fondly recalled the time he traveled to Martial Arts Town, where the cabin was so bleak that the few passengers on board thought it was haunted, causing quite a stir.

With more people, some things become inevitable.

For instance, his identity was recognized.

Fortunately, most on the ship were Coordinator Trainers who, even though respecting him as a powerful trainer, wouldn’t cause special disturbances like regular fans, at most issuing invitations for fancy battles.

Baimu absolutely welcomed this, and had no intention of hiding the Pokémon he was bringing to compete in the Mikoli Cup.

He was confident and needed the Altered-color Milotic to build strong self-confidence through continuous victories; a hesitant Altered-color Milotic wouldn’t be able to showcase its captivating beauty.

Battle was the best and fastest way.

——

Deck.

Under the clear blue sky.

In the presence of numerous Coordinator Trainers and Pokémon, the Altered-color Milotic swayed its glistening tail, battling against a bright yellow Pokémon resembling a cartoon mouse toy.
