Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 731: Chapter 492: Can’t Fly: Scared~

Xijana ultimately couldn’t hold back.

After being out of contact for a full half-hour, she sent a message stating her intention to head to Kanaz City to find out why the Hoenn Rayquaza was pursuing the Legendary Giant Stone.

Along the way, she decided to focus on the future ownership and use of the Legendary Giant Stone.

Actually, the whereabouts of the Legendary Giant Stone had been unknown for so many years that, in principle, it had long ceased to be a concern of the Meteor People, but the inherent sense of justice granted by the basic animation world, combined with someone beating around the bush between the lines, led her to choose to ”mind others’ business.”

And this was exactly what Baimu wanted to see.

Destroying an evil organization is not as simple as in the games. Barging into someone’s base alone to directly take on the staff and boss is a tradition of Pokémon, but it also makes it easy for the boss and most members to escape, or even continue into the next version.

He envisioned gathering as many allies as possible, then drowning that head of the lion and his group of red-suited weirdos in a sea of righteous people to perfectly defeat the Flashing Flame Team.

Currently, it’s merely a vision.

”Unfortunately, I don’t have a shred of evidence...”

Baimu lamented that the Flashing Flame Team worked too meticulously, so much so that Da Wu only realized something was off about the organization at the very end, and the international police hadn’t noticed a thing from start to finish, not even making an appearance.

The handsome guy clearly got involved in the game, even appeared in the previous generation of Super Wishes in the animation, but not even a ghostly shadow was seen in the end.

This can only be attributed to Fladari’s gentlemanly disguise being too perfect.

So perfect that even when they finally took action, many people could not believe he would do something so insane.

There’s also a crucial point.

Fladari had an ”inside man” within the Calos Alliance—

Pachira, one of the Carlos Four Celestial Kings and a news broadcaster.

God knows how much critical information this undercover agent within the Calos Alliance provided to Fladari; with her there, Baimu dared not reveal too much to the relevant alliance forces too soon.

It’s troublesome.

But there is no way around it.

After all, having encountered it personally, ignoring the known regional disaster would make him appear as if he learned nothing from freeing Ore with the help of the Rescue Organization.

It would also be a disservice to Da Wu and others, who had previously toiled with unyielding dedication to assist.

Baimu listed out his contacts, realizing very few had the ability to get involved in such matters... Commission the Ocean Team and Magma Team?

A former villain organization battling a current villain organization, quite an exhilarating scenario.

However, unlike Da Wu and Xijana, these two organizations could not be persuaded by a sense of justice, so it would be better to look for Shanren.

Which brings to mention.

In the end, he realized the only ones he could rely on were those people he met in the Ore Region, who pragmatically stayed in Pyrite Town for construction, with few like him venturing out to travel.

Of course.

Firstly, many Pyrite Town People couldn’t adapt to society outside, and secondly, unlike the outside world, they didn’t have an excessively exaggerated passion for Pokémon battles.

Despite the large audience at the Pyrite Arena back then, most belonged to the gangs, it had nothing to do with ordinary citizens.

Traveling is hardly a traditional custom in the Ore Region.

During a break from training Milotic.

Baimu reached out to Shanren.

”Looks like the future Ore Champion has new instructions?” The latter spoke in a rather teasing tone. Ever since he was dragged out of bed by Baimu a while ago, this guy had maintained a sarcastically playful attitude.

Not that he disliked the fuss, just wanted to irritate him.

”I just wanted to consult the future Ore Alliance President about some matters.” Baimu flattered, pretending not to understand what was said, his tone resembling that of a sycophant.

After listening, Shanren was at a loss for words and sighed, ”Little Bai... your flattery needs improvement! Alright! What’s up?”

”It’s related to my recent situation...”

Baimu elaborated on everything that had occurred over the past few days in great detail.

The other end of the line fell silent once more.

After a long pause.

Shanren spoke softly, ”Making an agreement with Lugia was just a week ago, right? It seems I have underestimated you, Baimu.”

Baimu: ”The point isn’t the Alternate-colored Rayquaza!”

”Then what is the point?”

”The point is Lysandre Labs! An evil organization hidden underwater!”

”Do you have any evidence? Just because you think the man who looks like a Pyroar isn’t a good person, you label their lab as an evil organization? I have checked his records, a renowned philanthropist! Don’t be ridiculous, brother!”

”...So you don’t believe me?”

”I believe you.”

”Huh? Then why did you—”

”I just wanted to mock you for a bit, and now I feel much better.” Shanren rarely curses, so he wouldn’t miss any chance to lash out at Baimu to vent his emotions.

Returning to the serious topic, he said earnestly, ”I just reviewed his charity records and noticed that at the beginning, his eyes were very sincere and passionate, evidently treating helping others as a career, but the charity photos from the past two years... haha, do you know what came to my mind?”

Baimu subconsciously responded, ”What?”

”Ergin.”

Shanren took a deep breath, ”This guy did a lot of so-called charity, their eyes are eerily similar... heh, the external world rates him highly, unfortunately, another evil ghost in disguise.”

”Don’t make it sound so scary, alright?”

”Just stating the facts, I plan to send someone to Carlos to gather relevant evidence—rest assured, they’ll be professional.” Shanren’s smile was almost palpable through his voice, ”And they’ll all be your old acquaintances.”
