Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 705: Chapter 479: Encounter with a Treasure_2

At this moment, both of their faces were full of smiles, the scene couldn’t be more beautiful—

You two are from separate egg groups: ”Water” and ”Dragon” for one, and ”Monster” for the other, it’s never going to work!!

Baimu really wanted to shout that out, but guessed that Milotic didn’t even have such intentions, currently it was just pure admiration, like for a big brother.

Playing matchmaker randomly won’t do.

Besides, if it’s true love, then reproductive isolation is no big deal! Aren’t humans and Pokémon also reproductively isolated?

Hmm... Should be, right?

Suddenly, N’s figure flashed in Baimu’s mind, and he remembered a few urban legends about telekinetic youth turning into Kadabra, he hesitated to think further.

Damn GF for leaving plot holes.

As he was about to approach, Aggron seemed to have some sort of telepathy and looked over, and Milotic also followed with its gaze. Upon seeing it was their trainer, one displayed a goofy, silly smile, while the other directly swam over, swaying its body.

”Migo~”

Milotic moved quite swiftly, and even as it waded through the stream, its speed didn’t decrease, bursting into the water with a splash.

Once upon a time, Baimu was worried this guy crawling on land for too long would leave black marks on its beautiful golden scales and cream fur, like calluses. But as it evolved over time, he found that whenever its belly and tail, which touched the ground, showed signs of abrasion, fur and scales would fall off.

Thus, it always stays in perfect form.

Seriously, what does it mean to be a Pokémon?

More than a little amazing.

Once more, Baimu realized on Milotic that you can’t regard Pokémon with common sense, ”Oops!”

He hugged the huge figure that came over and complained, ”Don’t rush so hard, you’re going to crush me.”

Milotic’s body was soft, the feel varied between land and water; on land, it was fluffy like a huge plush, in water, smooth as if it had a layer of scales added.

How on earth does this guy retain its body’s moisture without excessive loss?

It’s a problem worth studying.

”Migo~”

Milotic nudged Baimu’s cheek several times before raising its head. In the past, with its inferiority complex, these intimate actions were unthinkable for it, but evolution and a remarkable appearance taught it how to truly act coquettish, the move wasn’t learned in vain.

People say appearance reflects the heart, but as the heart changes with appearance, this seems pretty accurate too.

At least it helped Milotic become more confident.

The two came to Aggron’s side, the latter cautiously observing the young saplings, not daring to stretch its claws for fear of accidentally knocking them over.

”Groar~”

Finally, Aggron withdrew its gaze satisfied, evaluating its planting this time as—perfect!

”Where are the other two? Just you and Milotic here?” Baimu looked around, not seeing the two Aggron from Da Wu’s family.

Originally, there were trees on this open ground, but the Big Monster and the Aggron from Da Wu’s family fought too fiercely, even without using many moves, destroying quite a lot, quite unfortunate.

Previously, Baimu had been astonished at how the trees on SITE had been destroyed while the Big Monster of the newcomers seemed more distressed, as Da Wu’s Aggron hadn’t seemed to care, appearing indifferent.

Now he understood.

Turns out, they knew the Big Monster would definitely replant them, even going so far as to clear the old roots and replant, though admittedly those other two broke more...

Alright then.

Ultimately, the destruction of the trees was due to the Big Monster learning from Da Wu’s two Aggron. If they didn’t learn, such an occurrence wouldn’t have happened; replanting alone was no problem, it was something they should indeed do. As a Trainer, he also had a responsibility to work together.

But looking at the still-bare area, Baimu felt a bit troubled.

Could they replant it all in two days?

”Groar?”

Time to set out?

Aggron seemed to understand what the trainer was worried about. After confirming, it tilted its head and roared, ”Roar—!!”

The sound echoed through the forest, causing two colossal shadows to slowly emerge in the distance.

It went over to converse with the two Aggron, arranging to come back next time to plant again, assuring them it wasn’t shirking responsibility, just that it was unable to at this time.

”Groar.”

The male one told it not to say more.

Though they had only interacted for a few days, just as Da Wu appreciated Baimu, the Big Monster also earned the admiration of Da Wu’s two Aggron.

Earlier, allowing it to plant the tree alone with Milotic was because they heard it had never planted trees before but had tended flower beds and shrubs, wanting it to try hands-on.

Which Aggron hasn’t planted a tree before!

Flower beds and shrubs?

Do they have trunks as thick as trees? Are their roots as hard as trees? Don’t be ridiculous! Big trees are what Aggron should truly plant!

Fortunately, the skill of planting trees is ingrained in their genes, like spiders born knowing how to weave webs. They can carry it out easily without guidance.

”Groar~”

The two Aggron placed their paws on the Big Monster’s shoulders, a humane contentment flashed across their fierce faces.

Making the latter quite excited.

”Migo?”

Milotic didn’t quite understand what they were doing and wanted to join in with the big brother’s excitement, but simply couldn’t stir up the emotion.

Baimu said, ”It’s saying goodbye. It’s rare to have two fellow species as teachers, and it received their acknowledgment, it’s only natural to be reluctant.”

The true essence of traveling in the Pokémon World is meeting various people, experiencing events and then parting from them, leaving each other with memorable memories.

In the past, only he met others, now his Pokémon can meet other Pokémon too.

That’s nice.

”Migo...”

Milotic still didn’t quite get it, its understanding of complex matters has always been limited, it was like this as Feebas, and it’s the same now as Milotic.

But perhaps this ”innocence” is precisely the reason why it could break through the barrier of weakness and experience a metamorphosis.

”You’ll understand in time.” Baimu smiled.

Eventually, when heading to Glazed City, they are definitely going to meet Mikoli’s Milotic.

——

Without bothering Hoopa to open a ring.

Baimu boarded the ferry to Pacifidlog Town.

In the game, Pacifidlog Town is a seaside town built on many rafts, while in the animation, it is located on an island, an exceptional vacation spot.

The Gorgeous Competition Pacifidlog branch is also one of the high stakes among many venues.

If it weren’t for the Mikoli Club, his next goal would likely be the Pacifidlog Conference.

”The weather’s really nice today.”

Baimu leaned against the railing, gazing out at the endless sea with Wingull soaring above, they weren’t watching to see if he had fries, just someone nearby feeding them bread.

Suddenly.

A fervent voice came from behind.

”Lord Baimu?”

Even with the sunglasses on, you still recognize me?

Baimu turned incredulously, and thought the voice sounded a bit familiar, then realized it was Wula La, the pink-haired dual-pony-tailed girl he met initially in Kanaz City.

She looked in good spirits, with a slightly weary and constantly yawning Garchomp by her side.

”Long time no see, Wula La.”

He smiled.

Although Wula La in the animation was a bit annoying, the Wula La he knew was already a reformed person, turning into a good kid, their last conversation was rather pleasant too.

”Ah!”

Wula La seemed pleasantly surprised, as if she didn’t expect Baimu to remember her, and quickly asked:

”Are you heading to Pacifidlog Town for the Pacifidlog Conference?”

”Not at all...”

Baimu waved his hand, ”I’ve got other things to do, are you participating in the Pacifidlog Conference?”

Wula La nodded and seemed a bit regretful that she wouldn’t compete alongside him, she sincerely wanted to show him how much she’d grown over time.

But turning her thoughts around, she then asked, ”What about the Mikoli Club...”

”I’ll definitely participate in that, and I’m determined to win the championship,” Baimu replied with a smile.

Wula La smiled too, ”I hope we’ll have a chance to face each other then.”

”Naturally.”
