Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 728: Chapter 490: The Struggle for the Megalith (Part 3)

He remembered Da Wu had a work cover.

”The conditions don’t allow...” Da Wu casually said, as terrifying sounds echoed from the sky once more.

Boom!!

The two Mega Rayquazas clearly exchanged another move.

The current environment wasn’t really suitable for conversation, but those present couldn’t care less, just grateful they weren’t hit head-on by the Mega Rayquazas.

Fladari turned to Da Wu and said, ”If possible, could the Champion introduce me?”

”Of course, Fladari it’s an honor, you might have heard about this, he is a member of the ancient people of the Hoenn Region—the Meteor People. Legend has it their ancestors stood on the giant stone to summon Rayquaza, quelling the war between the other two Super Ancient Pokémon.”

Da Wu was about to say a name, but Baimu raised his hand to interrupt.

He looked at everyone and said with grace, ”My name is Baimu, and I’m a Dragon Tamer.”

”Dragon Tamer!”

Manon heard the title and immediately approached curiously, ”Is it like being a Trainer?”

The novice little girl fearless, hadn’t even given Ailan a chance to stop her.

”Depends on how you understand it. Primarily, Dragon Tamers train Pokémon mostly related to Dragon-type Pokémon, but not limited to just Dragon Attributes.” Baimu had no ill feelings toward the girl.

Fladari watched him calmly, his brows slightly furrowing.

He had thought he could fish in troubled waters during the battle of the Rayquazas, quickly move the Legendary Giant Stone, but the man’s self-reception made Fladari realize that the action is likely not going to be easy.

”Mr. Baimu, meaning?”

”I naturally hope it can return to its rightful owner.” His smile remained unchanged.

Ailan grew impatient and said, ”Baimu...sir, your Rayquaza is still battling another Rayquaza. Considering the safety of everyone present and your Pokémon, my suggestion is to move the giant stone first, then discuss its ownership. What do you think?”

The young man found it strange to argue about it before the Legendary Giant Stone was secured!

”Sorry, Rayquaza isn’t my Pokémon, it’s just my friend. I can’t command it or interfere with its thoughts.” Baimu responded, ”It intends to fight Dragon God Rayquaza.”

At this moment, Da Wu quickly came to his side, and whispered, ”Did Meteor Village send you to retrieve the stone? What’s with the alternate-colored Rayquaza? Don’t you worship Hoenn’s Rayquaza?”

”I can’t explain quickly...Will tell you after it’s over.”

Baimu felt the tremulous energy from above and told everyone, ”Looks like we need to hide for now.”

In the heavens above.

After two rounds of mutually finishing touches that impacted each other but achieved nothing.

The two Mega Rayquazas began using another large-scale destructive method.

—Meteor Shower.

The explosive destructive flames in their mouths fused into radiant bursts, massive energy bullets with diameters comparable to basketball courts flew toward the sky, exploding violently in the turbulence!

In an instant, a sky full of fiery rain!

The fireballs carrying thick smoke that descended were no different from the meteor showers falling from the heavens, any one that reached the ground caused devastating explosions, the destruction to the land was terrifying!

The two Mega Rayquazas dodged and avoided within the Meteor Shower, not getting hit even a tiny bit, whereas Baimu and others nearby were unfortunate enough to become main targets of the shower’s attacks.

Forewarned, Baimu and Da Wu hid together, Hydreigon and Mega Metagross respectively deploying massive light shields to withstand the crashing meteors.

Fladari and Ailan and others had long hid elsewhere, they should be safe.

”It’s coming!”

Baimu whispered under the light shield, Da Wu looked at him puzzled, then saw the azure giant silhouette gliding through the smokey clouds.

It was Dragon God Rayquaza attempting to take the Legendary Giant Stone amidst the chaos.

From thought, it seems the alternate-colored Rayquaza followed and began to contest it? Under normal circumstances, the stone affected by the high-energy impacts of the Meteor Shower would mysteriously disappear and then reappear near Kanaz City.

This would cause Primordial Groudon and Primordial Kyogre to fight over it.

As Baimu thought about it, suddenly the black smoke before the light shield surged, revealing a gigantic black dragon’s head, startling Mega Metagross and Da Wu.

”Metagross!”

”Roar...”

The alternate-colored Rayquaza ignored, just focused its vision on the intact Baimu under the light shield.

Meeting its gaze, Baimu was first stunned, then touched deeply, and shouted, ”Why is it hesitating! Don’t worry about me! Go snatch the stone first!”

”Roar!”

Upon hearing Baimu, the alternate-colored Rayquaza immediately turned, looking toward the smoky stone, saw Dragon God Rayquaza retreating from outside, assumed it had taken the stone, and chased after fiercely.

The two Rayquazas left.

The surrounding smokey haze gradually dispersed.

Da Wu looked at Baimu, his expression thoughtful, as if suggesting—”Wasn’t it just a friend you couldn’t command? But it not only first came to find you by abandoning the stone but even followed your command to chase after it!”

”Ahem, is everyone alright! Mr. Fladari? That...that young fellow? And the other little girl?”

Baimu pretended not to notice, quickly turning and lifting a heavy stone to find Ailan and Manon sheltered under Charizard, they were unharmed, only Charizard was hurt a bit.

Da Wu also found Fladari on the other side, without a speck of dust, no idea where he had hid.

”Where’s the stone?”

Ailan was very concerned about the Legendary Giant Stone, asking immediately.

Baimu shook his head, ”Not sure...maybe taken by Dragon God Rayquaza?”

He looked toward the horizon, clouds quietly dispersed, sunlight returned to the ruins illuminating the surroundings, as if the alternate-colored Rayquaza chased Hoenn’s Rayquaza into the outer atmosphere.

”No, surely not. My team tells me the energy disappeared suddenly, not during transportation.” Fladari unaffected by the smoke screen words, ”They’re searching now.”

Da Wu expressed confusion, ”Why does the stone attract Rayquaza...what’s their relationship?”

Baimu said nothing.

He definitely did not want the stone to fall into Fladari’s hands again, otherwise Flashing Flame Team would stir up chaos in Carlos Region once more.

However.

Without the stone, the Flashing Flame Team would still devise other schemes to destroy the world, if allowed to follow the original story and deliver a deadly strike at the key moment, it might be smoother than preventing them from obtaining the stone and implementing unknown methods...

Oh dear.

It’s tough being the good guy.
