Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 734: Chapter 493: Blast Burn? Filter! (Part 2)

Lairon slightly raised its head, with surging energy radiating from the Key Stone and Super Stone. The Mind Chain interconnected and poured into its body, completing an astonishing mutation in just a few seconds.

The Silver Fortress, as majestic as a mountain, made its entrance!

The onlooker Manon shouted excitedly, ”What a grand appearance! It really looks like a Heavy Armor Warrior!”

”Finally here!”

Ailan’s eyes also flashed a hint of fanaticism, yet he did not notice that his Super Bracelet was glowing subtly, a light that Baimu captured entirely.

Why agree to spar at this moment?

He was waiting for ”evidence” and ”reason” to present themselves, otherwise, why not wait for Ailan to win the Lumiose Conference?

That was the Complete Form.

This battle was just an excuse; later, he would figure out a way to get this bracelet.

By then, even if it couldn’t be decisive evidence, it would be enough to persuade Da Wu to have significant doubts about Lysandre Labs, and it would give a basis for his suspicion of Lysandre Labs.

Otherwise, how could he explain his hostility? There aren’t many people like Shanren who trust him unconditionally.

——[Accidental discovery of the Super Bracelet given to Ailan by Fladari, which disperses free energy and data when collecting different Pokémon’s super evolutions.]

A perfectly sound reason.

Thinking of this, Baimu’s smile became even more radiant.

”Go! Jet Flame!”

Unable to restrain himself, Ailan issued a command. Mega Charizard X inhaled deeply, and the bright blue flames flowed into its maw from the suddenly expanding chest, erupting abruptly like a terrifying dragon of flame!

Roar!

The extreme heat distorted the very air.

Unexpectedly, Mega Aggron stood unmoved, seemingly not considering the incoming flame dragon as anything.

The next moment.

BOOM!!

The flame dragon struck Mega Aggron’s upper body directly, and the fiery explosion instantly engulfed it, causing Manon watching on to cover her mouth in worry.

But soon she noticed that Mega Aggron still stood there, as if the searing flames that could melt steel didn’t even make it take a step back. As an inexplicable power surged, the fire streams seemed to be drawn to the open maw.

There, it brewed an energy bullet of metallic luster mixed with brilliant blue, the two energies forcibly compressed together, vibrating wildly.

Ailan’s eyes twitched slightly, ”Too light!”

Baimu chuckled:

”Turn-based game, now it’s my turn. Metal Explosion.”

”Roar!”

Immediately, Mega Aggron stopped compressing the energy bullet before it, turning it into a silver-blue column of light shooting towards Mega Charizard X!

BOOM——!!

A follow-up move generally represents an extremely high hit rate, at least Mega Charizard X didn’t have time to dodge.

The dazzling light pounded its body, and although it resisted desperately, the mixed energy still completely engulfed Mega Charizard X. Quickly, the smoke was fanned away by its wings.

The damage wasn’t significant.

Yet Ailan didn’t underestimate Mega Aggron because of this; his expression only grew more solemn.

After all, [Metal Explosion] doubles back the damage it received to the opponent, such ”weak” power was proof enough that the earlier Jet Flame to Mega Aggron was akin to an Itching.

This strike was the perfect taunt from Baimu and Mega Aggron to him and Mega Charizard X.

The opponent’s smile also seemed to say—

’See? This is your attack, how weak.’

Immovable as a mountain...

No matter how still you are, Charizard and I will shake you!

”Let them see our true power!” Ailan, unwittingly roused to a higher fighting spirit, shouted, ”Charizard! Flashing Flame Charge!”

”Roar!”

Unified in mind with him, Mega Charizard X roared, fists clenching tightly, the blue flame in its maw quickly expanded into a scorching flame flowing over its body. Rising rapidly, it charged fiercely at Mega Aggron, breaking through the air with constant roaring explosions, like a falling meteor of fire!

One must admit.

The visual impact of Mega Charizard X’s Flashing Flame Charge was exceptionally intense, and the bonus granted by its Hard Claw Trait was terrifyingly substantial, very evidently reflected in the move’s power.

Like a blazing sun, the light and heat dimmed the surroundings, making it seem like premature nightfall.

Outside the arena, Manon and Chespin were already completely absorbed in this Pokémon battle.

Da Wu showed some regret because his earlier battle with Ailan was halted by Fladari, unable to reach the end. Had they not been interrupted midway, he and Mega Metagross should also have felt the pressure now brought by Mega Charizard X.

Observing and personally battling end up feeling different.

What a pity.

In the arena.

”Hold it off!”

Baimu’s voice remained steady, entirely unfazed by the exaggerated momentum.

Mega Aggron gazed silently at the approaching flaming meteor, also unaffected by the intimidation, almost displaying the ultimate in moving last.

Though just bursting energy to instantly enhance speed would negate worries of not reaching Mega Charizard X, since the fellow enjoyed moving so much and offering itself, why waste effort?

In an instant.

The furious flame Mega Charizard X approached!

BOOM——!!!

The blinding white light swallowed the vision of all present, becoming the only color of that moment.
