Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 737: Chapter 494: Ancient War! (Part 2)

She didn’t ask Baimu what he wanted it for, the feeling of trust made the latter somewhat pleased.

At that moment.

Da Wu’s call came through.

Laisa’s finger paused slightly, and Baimu tapped on the screen, saying:

”I’m downstairs.”

Da Wu’s tone was a bit serious, ”It’s good that you haven’t left, I think you should come and take a look at this.”

It seems that Groudon has finally crawled out from some volcanic trench, probably soon, the coast of Kanaz City will be crowded with various spectators and Pokémon.

He bid farewell to Laisa, took the elevator to the top floor’s meeting room, where Ailan and Manon had already arrived.

On the big screen in the middle of the meeting room.

On the left was a portrait of Fladari, on the right was the terrifying figure of Groudon both creating molten rock land and advancing on the sea surface.

What it tread on seemed to be a byproduct brought by the Trait [Land of the End].

A Pokémon that can expand the land, truly lives up to its name!

After this incident, it’s estimated that a new small island will emerge off the coast of Kanaz City.

”Continental Pokémon Groudon...”

Da Wu stared at that crimson giant figure, and murmured.

”That’s right,” Fladari nodded, and said: ”And look at this.”

The image was enlarged, the molten lava-like appearance on its body made Da Wu involuntarily say: ”This... Primordial Return!?”

”Primordial Return?” Ailan and Manon appeared slightly puzzled.

Da Wu responded: ”According to the information, it is believed to be something that can restore a Pokémon to its original form and the mighty power it should possess.”

Baimu remained silent the entire time, he knew Groudon wasn’t the only one to appear.

Sure enough.

The monitoring personnel soon presented the image of an approaching Primordial Kyogre heading towards Kanaz City, Da Wu’s anxiety reached its peak.

He couldn’t help but look at Baimu, associating his identity as a Meteor Person with the massive destruction these two Pokémon caused in ancient times; if Kanaz City were to be destroyed by them...

Da Wu couldn’t imagine it, yet he maintained his composure and explained Hoenn’s ancient legends to Ailan and Manon, inevitably mentioning the Meteor People who stopped these two super ancient Pokémon.

Causing Ailan and Manon to simultaneously look at Baimu.

”They are probably here to compete for the Legendary Giant Stone, survey their path, and where it intersects might be where the stone ultimately appears.”

He shifted the attention with a single sentence, quietly contacting Xijana.

After so much time, she should have arrived in Kanaz City by now, right?

Indeed.

Xijana replied that she has already arrived at the riverbank of Kanaz City, trying to rent a boat—

Like hell you can rent one!

Baimu directly told her to come to the Dewen Company headquarters, and also said to Da Wu: ”Mr. Da Wu, the senior I met in Meteor Village is here, she also wants to join us in action.”

”...Senior?”

Da Wu’s eyes flickered, after a brief consideration he nodded, ”Alright, I’ll arrange the transport, we’ll meet on the rooftop shortly.”

On the other side.

Manon felt their actions were very dangerous, filled with worry.

Da Wu gave her a gentle smile, ”It’s just to confirm the situation from above, nothing will happen.”

With that, he accelerated away.

Manon, however, wasn’t fooled by this, starting to argue with Ailan, one concerned about his safety and fearing the power of super ancient Pokémon, the other determined to repay Fladari’s kindness for recognizing his talent.

Baimu had no time to watch the couple’s quarrel, he waited for Xijana at the company’s entrance.

Soon after.

Xijana dashed up in front of him on a motorcycle, screeching to a halt.

”Miss Jun Sha would give you a ticket for that.” Baimu teased, curious about where she got the motorcycle, but didn’t ask.

No time for that.

”Officer Jenny has gone to the dock to maintain order, she won’t bother with me.”

Xijana elegantly removed her helmet, found a spot to park her bike and asked: ”You probably know more information than I do, care to share?”

Baimu led her in, using the time in the elevator to brief her on the general situation.

The worry on this Inheritor’s face was undeniable.

”Primordial Groudon and Primordial Kyogre are about to clash...”

Would these two Pokémon greet each other amicably upon meeting? Impossible!

The history of the Meteor People has taught Xijana just how terrifying the disaster that would befall this land if they were allowed to snatch the Legendary Giant Stone.

Only the Dragon God Rayquaza can save the crisis in the Hoenn Region!

A sense of mission arose in Xijana’s heart, even though she didn’t understand why Dragon God Rayquaza would want to seize the Legendary Giant Stone, her upbringing taught her to always hold respect for it.

Arriving at the rooftop.

Da Wu and Ailan had been waiting for a long time, they both cast their gaze on Xijana behind Baimu.

”When I heard from Baimu that it was a senior from the Meteor People, I guessed it might be you, Miss Xijana.” Da Wu showed a polite smile.

”Long time no see, Champion.”

Xijana responded politely.

Unlike in the games and special episodes, at this moment, there were no points of conflict between the two, and even due to Baimu and the Four Heavenly Kings Drake serving as a bridge, they maintained a certain degree of friendly relationship.

Then Da Wu also introduced Ailan’s background.

”Let’s save the extra words for the journey.” Xijana didn’t want to waste too much time on self-introductions, gracefully holding Whismur, she leapt into the cabin, accepted the proffered headset and put it on.

Baimu followed closely behind, discreetly glancing at the rear cabin.

A certain young girl who said she didn’t want to come eventually still came along; it’s a rarity to find romance in an animated setting, even less after the No Mark Chapter.

Rare creature indeed!

Doduo doduo doduo—

The sound of rotor blades continued to roar as the massive transport aircraft set off towards the open seas outside Kanaz City.

As the transport aircraft gradually approached where Primordial Groudon was located, the temperature inside the cabin also started to rise, making Da Wu, who was chatting with Baimu, can’t help but loosen his tie.

”The temperature is way too high.”

The voice of the intelligence personnel came through the headset.

”The outdoor temperature has exceeded sixty degrees Celsius and is still rising!”

Indeed the Land of the End, in past life, human physique probably couldn’t even get close, surely would directly steam people if staying for a while.

However, for people in the Pokémon World, this temperature only makes one feel like they are about to suffer from heatstroke.

Baimu, who had recently changed into a clean Molten Rock Armor, felt nothing at all.

He couldn’t help but want to recommend this great invention to Da Wu, but unfortunately, the Molten Rock Armor is the core technology of the Magma Team. Wanting them to take it out and mass-produce it with De Wen Company... Not much possibility, I assume.

In no time.

The transport aircraft had already arrived above Primordial Groudon; its knees submerged in seawater, with each step, Molten Rock Land surged behind it, leaving a giant path in its wake.

Apart from the De Wen Company’s transport aircraft, there were also several helicopters nearby, all being news helicopters from major television stations, with journalists diligently broadcasting the specific situation to the public and then being driven away by the police helicopters.

The side cabin door of the transport aircraft opened, and Baimu and others clearly saw the luminescent blue light continually converging in mid-air.

”High-energy reaction detected! It’s exactly the same wavelength as the Legendary Giant Stone!”

The voice of the intelligence personnel made Da Wu and Ailan approach to look at the computer.

Baimu, on the other hand, focused on the sea with Xijana.

”Did you feel it?” The latter said out of nowhere.

He nodded, ”Feel it—here it comes!”

As soon as his words fell.

A flash of blue light suddenly burst out from the originally turbulent black sea surface, followed by a massive explosion, and a thousand-foot wave surged with a roar!

Bang!

An enormous fish, a mix of light blue and dark blue with indeterminate patterns flowing across its body, and its interior crystalline transparent, leapt out, looking down upon Primordial Groudon.

It let out an eardrum-piercing roar, without hesitation, gathered blue light Explosive Bullets beneath it, shooting four thick beams of light at Primordial Groudon!

[Root Fluctuation]!

Boom!!!!

Deafening explosion mixed with steam enveloped Primordial Groudon.

Baimu’s expression changed at the sight, turning his head to shout, ”Quickly, have the pilot retreat, as fast as possible!”

The intelligence personnel didn’t understand the reason but still dutifully passed the order to the pilot, while Da Wu held down the puzzled Ailan, signaling him to look at the confrontation between Primordial Kyogre and Primordial Groudon.

The latter suddenly opened a layer of spherical cerulean light membrane, successfully blocking the Molten Rock Bullet spewed by Primordial Groudon.

In an instant.

The cerulean light membrane expanded, transforming into a cerulean light sphere swallowing the sea!

As if a natural disaster had arrived!

The transport plane shook violently due to the disturbance, everyone grabbed onto the cabin walls to prevent themselves from becoming rolling gourds.
