Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 729: Chapter 491: Fladari

In the end.

Fladari still used his technology to locate the whereabouts of the Legendary Giant Stone.

”The location is near the coast of Kanaz City. The fluctuation is weak, but it was detected successfully.” As he said this, his gaze flashed between Baimu and Da Wu, and he said in a deep voice, ”That fluctuation matches the fluctuation and waveform collected from the Giant Stone.”

Getting this news made many present feel genuinely happy, except for the seemingly happy Baimu and the worried Manon.

This little girl had seen the previous scenes and deeply understood the danger of pursuing the Legendary Giant Stone.

Among the Super Ancient Pokémon, just the aftermath of their moves was enough to make everyone flee in panic. Even the powerful Ailan and Champion Da Wu in her mind could only passively resist.

Therefore, she was extremely worried about Ailan, who was wholeheartedly helping Fladari.

However, Manon also understood that her words carried little weight, and even if she said something, no one would heed her advice. So, after exchanging worried glances with Chespin, she decided to stay by Ailan’s side.

Everyone was preparing to set off for Kanaz City.

During this time.

Fladari deliberately stopped Ailan and chatted with him privately for a couple of sentences, which Baimu didn’t mind. He knew this lion-head wanted the latter to stay close to the knowledgeable Da Wu... now, it seems, he needed to add himself to that list.

Outside the ruins.

Da Wu asked quietly, ”Do the Meteor People really want to reclaim the Legendary Giant Stone?”

He had asked the elder of the Meteor Village before, who clearly stated he didn’t mind him pursuing it and even provided clues. Now, they finally found it, and they wanted to reclaim it... it’s a bit of a rogue move, but he truly had nothing to say.

”To be honest, it’s not the Meteor People who are the problem; the main issue is that the Alternate-colored Rayquaza is also interested in the Legendary Giant Stone. If it were to seize it, do you want me to take it out from its mouth?”

Baimu quickly shook his head and said softly, ”I really can’t interfere with the intentions of the Alternate-colored Rayquaza, Mr. Da Wu, you trust me!”

Thus, Da Wu believed him and then looked helplessly toward the sky, where the two Rayquazas were nowhere to be seen.

He already deeply trusted Baimu, and their relationship had rapidly progressed since allowing him to stay at his ancestral home. Not starting from a place of social status when interacting with people, he already considered him one of his few friends.

Facing such a chaotic situation.

The rock collector Da Wu, who had been pursuing the Legendary Giant Stone all along, felt for the first time that this thing was a hot potato.

——It’s likely that when he meets Primordial Groudon and Primordial Kyogre running to seize the Legendary Giant Stone as well, his mood will not be pleasant once again.

”It seems...”

”Over there in Kanaz City, we will inevitably meet them as well.”

Baimu continued from his words and also expressed that he wouldn’t be following them for now; he would stay behind to wait for the Alternate-colored Rayquaza.

If the Alternate-colored Rayquaza chased directly to Kanaz City, other plans would have to be discussed then.

Da Wu said nothing and had to temporarily bid farewell.

Kanaz City is the headquarters of De Wen Company, where the energy reaction appeared. He must return early to gather enough information before making plans.

At this moment.

Ailan and Manon came over.

The little girl had many questions about the Alternate-colored Rayquaza, and she wasn’t shy, eagerly questioning him about just how strong the Alternate-colored Rayquaza was, frequently glancing at Ailan during her inquiries.

Baimu knew she wanted the latter to see things and retreat.

Unfortunately for Ailan, encountering strong Trainers wielding Super Evolution only made him want to overcome and advance. From the moment he agreed to the task Fladari assigned him, decisively sending out Mega Charizard X into the battle between Primordial Groudon and Primordial Kyogre, it showed he was very courageous.

Of course, that’s the nicer way to say it.

To put it bluntly, he lacks awareness.

However, in the Trainer’s field, young people like Ailan, who have the heart for progress and courage, are commendable. Ash Ketchum, facing a similar situation, would not back down either.

”Mr. Baimu... I hope I can call you that.”

Ailan spoke politely, and his purpose was equally clear. ”May I ask if you were the one who made the Alternate-colored Rayquaza undergo Super Evolution?”

”That’s not the case.”

Baimu softly replied, ”I understand your thoughts, but the Alternate-colored Rayquaza indeed completed the Super Evolution on its own. I can’t even be considered its Trainer... But don’t be discouraged; I, myself, have also mastered Super Evolution.”

He took out the Key Stone from his chest, which made Ailan’s eyes light up.

”Please make sure to have a battle with me!”

”When we’re both available, I won’t refuse.”

Baimu said with a smile.

He had no opinion on this side character, at least for now.

Perhaps back when Ailan’s Mega Charizard X defeated Ash Ketchum’s Greninja, he was annoyed with the guy for a long time, but with Ash Ketchum’s performance in Sun and Moon, that bit of displeasure had long disappeared.

When he crossed over, Ash Ketchum had already defeated several of the Eight Masters, and the previews for the final match were out. Who knows if he won or not...

Anyway, he no longer cared about Ailan and naturally wouldn’t have any different opinions.

Moreover, what deserved criticism was the writer who refused to let Ash Ketchum become the Champion just to prolong the franchise’s life.

Speaking of which.

The goofy writer had forcibly created a battle-crazed, clueless youth for Fladari, completely unaware of his true intentions and various actions, which could be considered a limitation.

A hapless guy working unwittingly in the dark for others.

Baimu’s gaze at Ailan was tinged with sympathy for his intelligence and luck.

At least when he was being used, he knew he was being used. He didn’t succumb to Cang Zhilang’s manipulative tactics... alright, he wasn’t much better, just being manipulated, working for someone.
