Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 724: Chapter 489: Dragon God Showdown

Above the ten thousand meters altitude.

Baimu, wearing goggles and a scarf, looked at the Alternate-colored Rayquaza beneath him. Despite the strong winds brushing his face preventing him from speaking or yelling out loud, his heart was still quite excited.

This is riding a Rayquaza!

In the games, you don’t have this option, at most you can ride a Charizard or Dragonite...

To be honest.

The riding conditions of Rayquaza are not really good, plus it’s flying extremely fast at high altitude, causing Baimu to constantly grab one of its Dragon Horns to prevent himself from being tossed off.

But are these problems?

No!

The sense of satisfaction Baimu gets from riding Rayquaza mainly comes from the spirit, like when climbing Mount Everest and stepping on the summit, planting a flag and yelling out at that moment.

For this, the cold and fatigue are bearable.

Truly happy~

Baimu happily touched the smooth head of the Alternate-colored Rayquaza, and unexpectedly, after just a couple of strokes, this Rayquaza suddenly let out a long howl.

”Aang—!!”

The sound echoed through the universe like a resounding bell, the vibrations almost numbing his backside.

Oh dear.

Seems like you shouldn’t casually touch the dragon head...

He realized his previous action might have been a bit offensive, inevitably feeling a bit awkward.

At this moment, the Alternate-colored Rayquaza flying forward slightly turned its head, with a hint of warning in its eyes—

Hmm?

What’s this lingering meaning?

Baimu stared dumbfoundedly at the golden eyes of the Alternate-colored Rayquaza, the colors contained within he definitely couldn’t mistake, because these eyes were identical to how they looked right after breakfast!

He tentatively reached out and stroked Rayquaza’s smooth head again.

Sure enough, this guy didn’t get angry, just turned its head and flew even faster, and once again let out a high-pitched howl, fully displaying its divine nature as a Celestial Dragon.

So that’s it.

It’s a roar of joy.

Baimu thought that the Alternate-colored Rayquaza was indeed unique, like Lei Gong, who would only purr like a cat when happy, nowhere near as ”uninhibited” as this.

I wonder what kind of sound Lugia would make if petted into happiness.

Try it someday if the opportunity arises?

Suddenly feeling anticipatory, he also thought about how he’s already ridden three Legendary Pokémon in just over a year since crossing over.

Lei Gong, Lugia, and Rayquaza.

Wonder if there will be chances to ride other Divine Beasts in the future.

Speaking of which, Scarlet & Violet seems to start with riding a Divine Beast?

Too bad the crossover happened too early, he only saw a few promotional trailers and wasn’t able to wait for Scarlet & Violet to officially release before being forced to cross into the Pokémon World.

And now, searching online for those two motorbike-like dragons, there’s no relevant information to be found. Most Legendary Pokémon have at least some records online.

The total lack of information clearly suggests that those two Cover Gods named Koraidon and Miraidon are shrouded in significant mystery.

Baimu decided that once he has the strength and opportunity, he surely needs to search for the traces of those two Divine Beasts in the Padia Region.

While pondering.

The Alternate-colored Rayquaza suddenly descended in altitude.

”Arrived?”

He curiously looked below the sea of clouds, only to discover a large aircraft suddenly piercing through the clouds into high altitude, coincidentally coming face to face with them.

Although the distance between them was about tens of meters apart, Baimu could still clearly see the terror and confusion on the faces of the captain and co-captain in the cockpit.

Terrified to encounter Rayquaza, confused to see a person sitting on Rayquaza’s head.

Presumably, the two of them might just have a sleepless night tonight.

Baimu thought as he saw the alternate-colored Rayquaza completely submerge into the sea of clouds, waved to a passenger eagerly looking out from the cabin window.

Seeing that person’s eyes widen like saucers, he involuntarily revealed a mischievous smile.

”Hahahaha—cough cough cough!”

Still very joyful despite forcibly drinking a belly full of wind.

In the cabin, the passenger who glimpsed the stunning moment frantically pulled out his phone, intending to capture the shocking scene.

Unfortunately, Rayquaza had already completely submerged into the sea of clouds, disappearing.

”Ah!!”

The passenger uttered a frustrated cry, immediately drawing inquiries from the flight attendant and odd looks from those around.

Embarrassed, he apologized and stubbornly left a post on a certain trainer forum titled ”Saw it with my own eyes! Someone has captured an Alternate-colored Rayquaza!”

But due to lack of evidence, the replies he received were all the same multitude of ridicule.

On the other side.

Baimu, successfully passing through the clouds to see Hoenn Continent, was oblivious that he had been mere seconds away from becoming internet-famous again.

Of course.

If he knew, it wouldn’t matter much, with his current outfit, he wouldn’t necessarily recognize himself if he saw it. Everything about him that could potentially reveal his identity had been changed.

Including the Molten Rock Armor, one set washed but not dry, the other too dirty.

”Phew...feels like breathing is smoother.”

As Rayquaza gradually descended, the wind that blocked him from speaking subsided, and the surrounding temperature slowly increased. It wouldn’t be long before returning to Hoenn Continent’s warm climate.

While moving and swaying, the final thin layer of clouds dissipated, and the outline of the Pillar of the Sky appeared before Baimu.

He quickly took out binoculars for a look, and after not seeing traces of Hoenn Rayquaza at the top, he breathed a slight sigh of relief.

”Thank goodness.”

Thankfully, these two Super Ancient Pokémon of the same species didn’t gather together.

He always had a premonition that if they met, it definitely wouldn’t be as peaceful as Lugias’ encounters.

Half a minute later.
