Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 726: Chapter 490: The Struggle for the Giant Stone

An unnamed ruin.

Da Wu stared at the immense fluorite activated by the energy beams from numerous flower-shaped machines in front of him, his heart filled with excitement.

Finally found it!

One of the sources of Super Evolution in the Hoenn Region, the ”Legendary Giant Stone”!

But unfortunately, he was not the only one to find the giant stone; it also included Fladari, the head of the Lysandre Labs from the Carlos Region, his subordinate Ailan, and the latter’s travel companion, Manon.

This led to the ownership of the stone becoming extremely complicated, and of course, the final result would likely be a collaborative study between his De Wen Company and the Lysandre Labs.

As the saying goes, ”finders keepers,” Da Wu, despite being the Champion, would never resort to bullying.

He turned his head and asked, ”Excuse me, what time is it now?”

The instant the Legendary Giant Stone was summoned, a large number of people from the Lysandre Labs arrived with aircraft and began a series of strange actions on the stone.

Standing over two meters tall, with orange hair akin to a lion’s mane, Fladari crossed his arms, his expression stern as he said, ”I believe we should immediately analyze the composition of the stone, because this is a very valuable discovery.”

Composition analysis...

Da Wu furrowed his brow slightly.

Thud!

Suddenly, the Legendary Giant Stone emitted a series of intense energy waves, scaring Manon and Chespin, who were watching, causing them to fall to the ground.

Immediately, abnormal changes occurred again!

The sky above swirled as storm clouds expanded, instantly casting the entire ruin into dark shadows, while swirling thunder surged within the clouds, and terrifying roars came from high above.

”Woooo—”

Everyone inside the ruins unconsciously looked up toward the sky and saw a verdant giant dragon, clad in bright light, break through the air with intimidating power, causing those below to unconsciously breathe rapidly.

Fladari remained silent.

Ailan was momentarily stunned, slightly opening his mouth, ”That is!”

”Rayquaza!?” Da Wu’s expression was grave, revealing a hint of disbelief.

According to the ancient legends he knew, they had not offered prayers to summon it, so why did Rayquaza appear?

Could it be—

He looked towards the Legendary Giant Stone, realizing that it was still emitting intense energy waves, seemingly actively summoning it.

In the sky above.

As if energy had reached a certain peak.

Unparalleled colorful light gathered on Rayquaza’s body, and the celestial organ had collected enough escaped energy to trigger its Super Evolution!

In a breath’s time.

With golden dragon whiskers swaying in the wind, the transformed Mega Rayquaza roared again.

”Ssssssaaaaang!!”

This time, its roar changed the weather, with gale-like gray-black turbulence formed by the Delta Air Flow swirling in the high sky, making it nearly impossible to breathe!

Fortunately, besides a group of researchers, the presence of people like Da Wu indicated that this was not an ordinary event, but they knew the situation was dire upon witnessing this scene.

Especially when Mega Rayquaza, without any preamble, began gathering terrifying energy in its mouth.

”Run!”

Ailan ordered many researchers to evacuate, and Da Wu quickly released Metagross to trigger its Super Evolution, but their actions were too slow, as the Mega Rayquaza’s downward Dragon’s Pulse obliterated the research equipment near the giant stone and even blew the airship up into the sky.

Flames rising everywhere made the scene utterly chaotic.

Fladari, however, remained standing still, calmly saying, ”Did our actions... anger Rayquaza?”

Da Wu glanced at him, feeling increasingly that there was something off about him, but the urgent matter was to find a way to deal with the powerful Mega Rayquaza, so he said nothing.

Meanwhile, after instructing Manon, Ailan also had Charizard undergo Super Evolution.

Mega Metagross and Mega Charizard X gathered, facing the furious Mega Rayquaza in the sky, without any fear, ready to engage in battle.

But just as Da Wu and Ailan were about to give the order.

Another howl came from the distant sky, with a familiar tone causing the Mega Rayquaza to pause its wandering posture, surprise squeezing into its angry eyes.

The people in the ruins were equally shocked, and Da Wu and Ailan exchanged glances, their faces reflecting unparalleled astonishment.

Even the previously calm Fladari was no longer composed upon hearing this roar, gazing into the distance and muttering, ”That sound... how is it possible?”

Hiding in the ruins, cowering with her hands over her head, Manon mumbled, ”Harley, I think I heard another Rayquaza’s cry?”

”Chespin...”

Cuddled in her arms, Chespin struggled to lift its head, seriously informing the trainer that she wasn’t mistaken.

Another Rayquaza had indeed arrived!

And it was black!

Without a doubt.

Beneath the Delta Air Flow-shrouded sky, another gray-black Rayquaza had stormed onto the battlefield, curiously glancing around like a husky rushing into a pack of wolves, finally fixing its gaze on the Legendary Giant Stone continuously emitting energy waves.

Heh!

Found something good!

”Ssssssaaaaang!!”

A roar that seemed to tear the sky erupted beside it, but the alternate-colored Rayquaza, looking at the hostile Groud Rayquaza from afar, felt no remorse for interrupting its grandstanding. Instead, it met its gaze without showing any weakness.

What’s up? This treasure and I are fated!

Moreover, treasures belong to those capable! You think I’m afraid to fight you?

Thus, the alternate-colored Rayquaza quickly drove its celestial organ, completing Super Evolution at a speed visible to the naked eye. The two Mega Rayquazas of similar size locked eyes with each other, and a battle for territory and treasure was on the verge of breaking out!
