Super Gene Hunting Ground

Chapter 43: Chapter 43 Kill

The most embarrassed was Zhai Tao. He secretly tried several times, but no matter if he dodged left or right, or retreated quickly, he couldn’t shake off Yang Xiao’s Golden Short Sword. He also knew Yang Xiao’s prowess and ruthlessness, so he simply stayed still, afraid that Yang Xiao might stab him to death with a single sword thrust.

”Yang Xiao, Brother Yang, this is a misunderstanding, a complete misunderstanding...”

Zhai Tao attempted to explain, but was coldly interrupted by Yang Xiao.

”You’ve got some nerve, daring to lay hands on my woman?”

This remark slipped out of Yang Xiao’s mouth without thinking. His original intention was that the thirty-plus girls he protected, including Huang Wen, were under his protection. Although they were not attractive, no one could touch them.

Huang Wen, standing nearby, blushed. So many people were watching her, truly considering her Yang Xiao’s woman.

However, at this moment, Yang Xiao didn’t bother with such details. For the future safety of these girls, he wanted to warn everyone that anyone who dared to mess with Huang Wen and the others would not get away with it.

Chen Fei, Chen Lu, and other girls were currently being controlled by Zhai Tao’s underlings.

Yang Xiao suddenly shouted:

”Zhai Tao, are you going to release them or not?”

Zhai Tao was stunned, a light flashed in his mind, and he suddenly held onto a lifeline, sneering:

”Alright, Yang Xiao, if you want me to release them, you release me first...”

Before he finished speaking, Zhai Tao felt pain in his throat. Yang Xiao’s Golden Short Sword pierced his skin, at least two centimeters deep, and blood immediately flowed out.

Zhai Tao was instantly terrified.

”Don’t, don’t, Yang Xiao, don’t move, I’ll tell them to release the people, let’s talk it out.”

”Hmph, negotiating with me? I don’t mind killing you first and then dealing with them.”

Yang Xiao’s face was icy, emanating a killing aura.

A few days ago, Zhai Tao and his people were still students, and their hearts lacked the cruelty required for killing. If it were about fighting, bullying girls, those things they could do, but killing—it seemed there was still some psychological hesitation.

Zhai Tao’s whole body trembled, he immediately shouted:

”Quick, release them, are you all blind or deaf?”

Zhai Tao’s gang quickly released Chen Fei and the others. Chen Fei and Chen Lu rushed over and stood behind Yang Xiao.

Yang Xiao let go of Huang Wen with his left hand, coldly saying to Zhai Tao:

”You’ve got guts, daring to attack my people?”

Zhai Tao immediately said:

”Yang Xiao, Brother Yang, it was a misunderstanding. You see, I’ve released your people, now you can let me go.”

”Alright!”

Yang Xiao suddenly thrust his right hand forward, and the Golden Short Sword pierced through Zhai Tao’s throat.

”You?”

Zhai Tao stared wide-eyed in terror at Yang Xiao.

”Hmph, you hit my people, tried to kill me, and you expect to live?”

As Yang Xiao spoke, he kicked Zhai Tao’s body, sending it flying with a loud bang.

Zhai Tao’s body flew more than ten meters before falling to the ground with a thud, blood flowing from his throat, his body motionless.

Witnessing Yang Xiao’s ruthless and decisive actions, the entire scene was silent.

Feifei, who had been tossed around the most by Zhai Tao, limped over with the help of two girls, tears streaming down her face as she choked out:

”Boss...”

She then fell into Yang Xiao’s arms.

Yang Xiao naturally embraced Feifei, patting her shoulder, comforting her:

”It’s okay now. Everything’s fine with me here, don’t worry, go heal your wounds.”

This touching scene made the surrounding girls’ hearts flutter. Even someone like Feifei, whom Yang Xiao was gentle and considerate towards, was seen by many as a waste of good fortune.

The girls around were filled with envy, jealousy, and hatred, even Qin Yu and others from afar felt an inexplicable sourness.

Initially, Qin Yu, seeing Huang Wen being humiliated, hoped Xiao Zhe would step in to save Huang Wen, but was blocked by Xiao Zhe’s retort, ”You can’t even protect yourself now, and you want to save others?”

Huang Wen walked over, pulling on Feifei, saying:

”Alright, don’t embarrass the boss in front of so many people.”

Feifei tearfully giggled:

”Just let the boss hold me a little longer.”

Chen Fei whispered:

”Should we give the boss a kiss in front of everyone?”

”Cough, getting outrageous now, as soon as the enemy’s gone, you’re going wild?”

Yang Xiao lightly coughed, rolling his eyes at Feifei, Chen Fei, and the others, speaking softly.

These girls no longer feared Yang Xiao, instead feeling his warmth, playfully moving aside, as if the deadly battle moments before hadn’t happened.

Over thirty girls were injured by Zhai Tao’s people earlier, but most were superficial wounds, nothing serious.

Zhai Tao’s gang, seeing their leader killed by Yang Xiao, were terrified. Those on the outskirts quietly slipped away, leaving only about ten guys in the crowd.

Yang Xiao glanced over, saying coldly:

”If you want to live, kneel down.”

These ten or so guys were all Mutants, each with some skill. Among them, a young man named Di Huan, Zhai Tao’s second-in-command, now became the leader with Zhai Tao’s death.

Di Huan, bracing himself, said:

”Yang Xiao, you killed our boss, yet you’re still asking us to kneel? Isn’t this too much? Let this misunderstanding end here, shall we?”

”You’re negotiating with me? Do you have that right?” Yang Xiao replied disdainfully.

”You, Yang Xiao, don’t think you’re so impressive, I refuse to believe it. Can you fight all of us at once? If pushed, we’ll fight to the end. At worst, we both lose.”

Di Huan shouted daringly, holding a Black Long Sword.

With Di Huan’s shout, the confidence of the ten or so brothers behind him swelled, ready to charge.

Everyone felt somewhat indignant about Yang Xiao killing Zhai Tao. After all, when Zhai Tao rushed into the tent, he might have been ambushed by Yang Xiao hiding nearby, with the Golden Sword against his throat, leaving him passive.

Now it’s different; they could duel Yang Xiao directly. No matter how skilled Yang Xiao was, could he take on these dozen strong Mutants at once?

Di Huan supported his right hand in front of his chest, a signal moving his mind, causing a Fireball the size of a basketball to levitate.

The other Mutants prepared their transformations, ready to fight at any moment.

The situation on-site shifted rapidly, alarming Huang Wen and others. Feifei, enduring pain, jumped out, and so did Chen Fei, Chen Lu, Dai Yun, while Huang Wen also gripped her Longsword, ready to rush in.

Yang Xiao turned his head, sweeping his gaze over them:

”What did I say about you young girls, can you be quiet?”

Huang Wen and others paused, concerned, saying:

”Boss...”

”If you call me boss, trust me, just step back.”

Huang Wen and the others reluctantly retreated.

Yang Xiao, holding the Golden Short Sword, approached Di Huan.

Di Huan felt an inexplicable nervousness, taking two steps back,

”Yang Xiao, stop, if you come any closer, I won’t be polite.”

”Heh, you like playing with fire, ever heard that he who plays with fire burns himself?”

Yang Xiao finished speaking, his body suddenly flickered, rushing at Di Huan, his Longsword in hand flicked, instantly splitting into two sword shadows, stabbing at Di Huan.

In a hurry, Di Huan tossed out the Fireball in his hand. Yang Xiao dodged the oncoming Fireball, not hesitating a moment to thrust the Golden Short Sword at Di Huan.

”Ah!”

Di Huan cried out in pain, his tall body slowly collapsing.

Yang Xiao didn’t even glance at Di Huan, moving his body towards two others behind Di Huan.

Two more sword shadows flashed, causing screams as both fell.

The rest, seeing this situation, dared not duel Yang Xiao any longer. They took two steps back, then with a thud, all knelt on the ground.

”Brother Yang, spare us!”

From afar, Xiao Zhe and Xu Hua were deeply shocked.

”What’s with this Yang Xiao, his speed has increased a lot since a few days ago.”

”Moreover, his Golden Short Sword, every move reveals two sword shadows, with a killing aura, so powerful!”
