Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 2067: Chapter 2069: Heaven Does Not Disappoint

Cheng Su’s family arrived at the Cheng family, and the family doctor had just started an IV for Old Master Cheng, who was instructing Cheng Yaozong and others on some matters.

”You’re here.” Sister-in-law Cheng saw Cheng Su and the others arriving and walked over.

”How is Old Master Cheng?” Cheng Su tiptoed to take a look inside, the old man was lying with his eyes closed.

”He fainted from excitement, his blood pressure spiked,” Sister-in-law Cheng whispered.

Cheng Su’s eyes widened: ”Is it serious?”

The elderly man’s skyrocketing blood pressure was not good, it could lead to a stroke, and Old Master Cheng was over seventy.

”It’s okay, the doctor examined him,” Cheng Yaozong interjected, ”His blood pressure is slowly coming down, but he needs to rest well.”

”Why did he suddenly get so excited?” Qi Taiguo asked, frowning.

Cheng Yaozu handed over a report, deliberately glancing at Cheng Su with a look that carried an ambiguous meaning.

Cheng Su caught sight of a few words on the report, ’Paternity Test Certificate,’ and her heart trembled. She was hesitant to take it in, pondering whether the old man’s excitement was due to this?

She looked at Qi Taiguo with some apprehension.

She was also afraid of disappointment.

Qi Taiguo took the report and glanced at it, his eyes becoming bright and filled with excitement and disbelief.

”It’s true.”

The short three words made Cheng Su grab the report, which did not show a ninety-nine percent parent-child relationship, but indicated a degree of blood relation as direct relatives.

This means, if Old Master Cheng had no other relatives, or none of the Cheng children had left descendants in misadventures outside, then this Little Cheng Su was probably the descendant of the old man’s long-lost sister?

Cheng Su’s legs gave way, and she knelt to the ground.

Looking at those words, they seemed to come alive, joyfully dancing in front, Cheng Su’s eyes became blurred.

She had family, her own true family, she had found her family.

Cheng Su began crying.

Everyone was startled by her reaction and exchanged looks.

Cheng Yaozong was about to speak, when suddenly a voice called from the old master’s room; it was Ying Xiaoya’s voice.

”Dad, you’re awake?”

Everyone hurried into the room, leaving Cheng Su, who was supported by Qi Taiguo, following in a dazed manner.

”Dad, how are you feeling; oh, lie down, don’t get up,” Cheng Yaozu held down Old Master Cheng, preventing him from rising.

Ying Xiaoya also said, ”Yes, Dad, talking while lying down is just as good.”

Old Master Cheng saw Beibei in her arms, took two breaths, and said, ”Take Beibei out, lest she catches germs.”

Everyone sighed in relief; that he still cared about Little Beibei showed he was not in serious trouble.

”Just sit for a while, it’s fine,” Ying Xiaoya bounced her precious daughter, saying, ”Beibei wishes grandpa to get better soon!”

Old Master Cheng looked at the child’s face, a warmth spreading in his heart, recalling the report he had seen, he hastily called Cheng Yaozu over, ”Quick, bring that child back.”

He had gone for a paternity test out of a sense of trying and with a heart prepared for disappointment, but the fact was, Heaven had not let him down; the test proved that the child who shared the same name as the family’s goddaughter was indeed of the Cheng bloodline.

She was Suxin’s descendant, otherwise she would not have such an identical face to Suxin.

”Your aunt’s descendant, bring her back to our house!” Old Master Cheng looked at his sons, ”Immediately, at once, don’t delay.”
