The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1298: Chapter 1298: Whoever is not good, provoke Amadeus Yancey

”Ten o’clock then.” Amadeus Yancey said gently, thinking about her schedule, then added: ”Let’s see when you can get up.”

Nathalie Quinlan’s eyelids started to droop, her upper eyelid was about to stick to her eyelids. She softly responded with an ’uh-huh’, seemingly heard, yet also sounded unclear.

She was too sleepy, behind her someone was gently helping her dry her hair, clearly it was just helping her dry her hair, yet it made her drowsy.

Nathalie Quinlan waited for him to finish drying her hair, by then she was so sleepy she could barely keep her eyes open.

She forced herself to become alert, resting her chin on her hand, then asked: ”Your friend has something going on?”

Amadeus Yancey didn’t hide from her, placed the towel on the table beside him, then tied up her hair with a skin string before saying: ”Uh-huh, he wants to track someone.”

Nathalie Quinlan raised an eyebrow, showing some interest, not feeling so sleepy anymore: ”Who?”

”Someone who has been smuggling drugs internationally for years, doesn’t know his name, people on the street call him by his nickname, Hawkeye.”

What Amadeus Yancey said was calm and nonchalant, as if that person was just a minor role.

But in reality, this code-named Hawkeye has actually caused headaches for the FBI, because this person is extremely cunning and has a very ruthless style of doing things.

Knows quite a few people in the Illegal Zone, using his powerful network, he can get the news before the police carry out arrests every time, escaping one step ahead.

Nathalie Quinlan had heard the name before, her cold white fingers resting on her leg, lifted her eyelids to look at someone: ”How did he provoke you?”

Whoever is not good enough to provoke anyone, they provoke Amadeus Yancey...

She wasn’t aware of which powers this man had in his hands, but she knew Amadeus Yancey definitely had more than just The Ninth Institute in his hands.

Listening to Amadeus Yancey’s tone, this time Hawkeye won’t die but will definitely lose a layer of skin!

The collar of Amadeus Yancey’s white shirt slightly open, shirt sleeves rolled halfway up his arms, revealing skin tone similar to Nathalie Quinlan’s cold white shade.

His eyes deep and lively, high and straight nose bridge, sexy and thin lips, gave a smile, yet his gaze was cold, like a lion in the night, radiating an overwhelming power amidst solitude: ”A month ago, he appeared domestically for drug transactions, later locked down by police, he killed a family of three to escape.”

”The child from the family he killed was only six years old, stabbed over a dozen times before dying. He could have spared their lives, but fearing the family would speak of seeing him, chose to eliminate witnesses rather than let go of three innocent people.”

Nathalie Quinlan was silent for a moment, her eye end raised, stirred a touch of bloody bleakness, her voice suddenly turned cold: ”Huh, quite deserving of death.”

After she finished speaking, she said: ”Tomorrow morning I have time. You want to track his location, right?”

”Yes. From what we currently know, we can roughly confirm he’s hiding in a certain domestic port, yet when we were tracking his exact location, he had gotten someone to hide his tracks, now we cannot pinpoint his exact location. Without an accurate location, police can’t be dispatched to apprehend him.” Amadeus Yancey told her without the slightest reservation: ”The police are quite anxious, given Hawkeye is cunning and skilled at disguise, once he gets a false identity, he’s very likely to flee abroad. If he escapes, it’ll be tough to catch him again.”

If it weren’t for this, he wouldn’t have considered asking Nathalie Quinlan for help.

After all, these affairs are not what an 18-year-old girl should be involved in.
