The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1268: Chapter 1268: Hello, We Are Your VIP Guests

Is someone reserving the whole place?

Caryn Zachmann instinctively furrowed her brows. Her beautiful eyes reflected displeasure, but she habitually masked her emotions. She walked up to the waiter without revealing any signs of anger or joy and softly asked, ”Hello, did you say someone booked the venue today?”

”Hello.” The staff, though stopping them from entering, didn’t dare to offend Caryn Zachmann and her group. He knew he couldn’t afford to cross anyone, so he cautiously spoke to Caryn Zachmann: ”Yes, Ms. Zachmann, I’m very sorry.”

Caryn Zachmann pressed her lips together, her face remained calm, yet her demeanor exuded dominance: ”We are VIP guests of your clubhouse.”

The staff looked helpless and had to humbly explain to her, ”I know you are VIP guests of the clubhouse, and I’m truly sorry, Ms. Zachmann. I’m just following orders from above. They’ve informed us to clear the venue, and we have no choice. Could you possibly come another day?”

Come another day?

Caryn Zachmann’s smile disappeared, a trace of gloom flashed in her eyes. She tightly pressed her lips and remained silent, her face already turning cold.

She had specially invited friends here for a celebration party, and with just a suggestion to come another day, she would have to change venues.

Where would the face of the Zachmann Family and that of Caryn Zachmann be placed thereafter!

Caryn Zachmann was already extremely displeased in her heart, but still maintained the poise of a socialite on her face, feigned generosity, but her eyes were sharply fixed on the staff, not considering his job at all, and she said indifferently: ”Oh, you have to tell me who booked the place, otherwise why should I come another day.”

”Everyone here is a VIP guest, and it makes no sense for us to have come, be told to leave, and then leave just like that.” She adjusted the bag in her hand, her gaze indifferent, appearing easy to talk to, yet her actions were arrogantly assertive: ”Don’t you agree?”

Sure enough, the staff displayed a troubled expression: ”Uh... Ms. Zachmann, I really can’t say.”

Caryn Zachmann smiled slightly, seeming nonchalant, and assumed an attitude of not making things difficult, saying softly: ”Then have your manager come over to explain to us.”

She had been here before with Sadam Vinson and had met the manager of the Serenity Clubhouse.

The last time, the manager of the Serenity Clubhouse had nodded and bowed to her respectfully.

Backed by her connections, Caryn Zachmann acted without restraint, commanding respect wherever she went.

The group of Beijing’s second generation standing by her straightened their backs one by one, glaring angrily at the Serenity Clubhouse’s staff.

”Yeah, call your manager out!” exclaimed a young blonde hair, speaking arrogantly.

Soon, others joined in the uproar.

”Yeah, who the hell booked the place? What do you mean by this! Ms. Zachmann is right! Everyone here is a VIP guest. Why are you letting some in and not us, as if we’re not VIPs too.”

Mateo Gordon, who usually had close ties with Caryn Zachmann, seeing that the staff at the Serenity Clubhouse showed no signs of backing down, walked up to Caryn Zachmann with a gloomy expression and said in a low voice, ”Ms. Zachmann, why don’t you say something to Mr. Vinson and the others? With just a phone call from them, this could be resolved. We don’t want to waste time here bickering with them.”

Upon hearing the names Sadam Vinson and Amadeus Yancey, Caryn Zachmann momentarily hesitated.

She recalled Sadam Vinson’s cold attitude towards her recently, and considering it had been months since she last saw Amadeus Yancey, she felt unsettled.
