The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1282: Chapter 1282: Not Even Giving Them a Chance to Apologize

The female employee tearing open a packet of instant coffee next to her and pouring it into the cup is from the Secretary team. She smiled slightly upon hearing, her red lips curving upwards: ”Isn’t it a good thing? Didn’t you hear? Our company might cooperate with the JC Group. As long as we win this cooperation case, cooperation will be established.”

”JC Group? That incredible JC Group?” The employee displayed a surprised expression.

The Zachmann Group is a leading giant in the domestic jewelry industry, but it doesn’t rank highly internationally.

JC Group is different; JC Group is the industry’s leading giant.

The fact they can cooperate with JC Group is absolutely the company higher-up reaching for them!

”It’s strange, how can JC Group cooperate with us? Weren’t they only cooperating with a fixed number of brands before?”

The fixed collaboration brands of JC are all luxury first-line brands. The Zachmann Group is far behind in this aspect; it’s not surprising that the employees are curious.

The female employee from the Secretary team also flashed a hint of bewilderment in her eyes upon hearing.

But she deeply understands workplace rules and suppresses her confusion in her heart, stirring her coffee with a spoon, casually saying: ”Why care about these things? It’s enough to know our company is about to reach a cooperation with JC Group! The cooperation case is already left with us by the JC side and usually in this situation the possibility of cooperation is very high. Mr. Zachmann is cheerful these days because of this matter, we’ll just wait and see~ I won’t talk with you further, I’m heading back to my seat, take your time~”

...

Leonardy Zachmann didn’t know the news of their impending cooperation signing with JC Group had already spread internally within the company.

After returning to his office, he walked straight back to his seat, picked up the accumulated work on the desk, opened one of the folders, and was ready to sign and approve with the pen at hand.

Unexpectedly, someone suddenly pushed open the office door in panic.

Raising his brows tightly, he said in a deep voice, ”What are you rushing around for?”

His assistant already clamped his leg, quickly walked in, looking quite unsightly, nodded his head and said: ”Mr. Zachmann, it’s not good.”

Leonardy Zachmann placed the pen in his hand down, furrowed his brows involuntarily, and watched him with a composed face: ”What’s not good?”

The assistant dared not hide anything, explaining in detail: ”Just now, people from JC contacted us saying they’ve vetoed our plan, they’re not planning to cooperate with us anymore.”

”What did you say?” Leonardy Zachmann abruptly stood up from the chair, the chair hitting the nearby bookshelf with a bang.

The assistant was startled and dared not speak for a moment.

Leonardy Zachmann took a long while to barely compose himself, his brows carrying an anxious demeanor, suppressing emotions, he said in a deep voice: ”Did you ask them why they’re not cooperating with us anymore? Didn’t they imply a high probability of cooperation when leaving the plan earlier, why did JC suddenly change its mind!”

”This... Mr. Zachmann, I asked. But they didn’t state it clearly, they only said we caused trouble, offended their higher-ups. This is their higher-ups’ decision; they can’t influence it.”

The assistant was anxious too: ”I tentatively inquired who the higher-up they mentioned was. I said we’re willing to personally visit and apologize to that higher-up. But I couldn’t get any information after asking for a while, they wouldn’t reveal who the person is.”

Leonardy Zachmann faced such a situation for the first time, not knowing who the opponent is, yet JC positively affirmed that they offended a higher-up.

They aren’t even giving a chance for a personal apology!
