The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1270: Chapter 1270: Someone Saw Nathalie

”Hey, bro.”

Caryn greeted him, her expression a bit forced, and she pressed her lips together, saying, ”It’s not that we don’t want to go in, but the Serenity Clubhouse has been booked for a private event.”

”You’re talking about the Serenity Clubhouse...?” Hendrik looked puzzled, his expression showing surprise and disbelief.

The Serenity Clubhouse is similar to Rivendell, both are high-end clubs; people who come to such places are either rich or noble, and he had never heard of anyone booking the entire place.

Yet, when he saw Caryn’s silent reaction, he knew she wasn’t lying. The Serenity Clubhouse was indeed booked for today!

Although Hendrik was very surprised, he didn’t have a better solution for the situation. He could only say, ”Let’s go somewhere else then. After all, it’s just a meal, no need to insist on being here.”

Caryn was reluctant, but since Sadam Vinson was unwilling to come forward to help, she could only swallow her pride and reluctantly agreed with a ’Hmm.’

The group planned to change venues.

Just then, a girl who had been quite inconspicuous among them suddenly exclaimed, ”Nathalie Quinlan?!”

Hendrik had already opened the car door, but hearing the name the girl shouted, he paused for a moment and instinctively turned his head to look.

He saw a familiar figure passing inside the Serenity Clubhouse.

The silhouette was crisp and audacious!

Wearing a black sweater, black pants, with a black duckbill cap.

Even though he couldn’t see the girl’s face, he recognized who it was instantly.

Nathalie Quinlan?

How could she be here!

Hendrik’s eyes were full of surprise, and before he could react, he heard Caryn talking to the girl.

”Are you talking about Nathalie Quinlan?”

Caryn turned her gaze towards the girl. The girl was tall, her looks were about seventy to eighty percent remarkable, with a certain arrogance between her brows and eyes.

But she was far from having the stunning aura that Nathalie possessed.

She seemed rather ordinary!

She remembered that this girl was brought by Mateo Gordon, who had introduced her to them, saying she was his new girlfriend.

Mateo was famous in their circle for being a player, especially fond of changing girlfriends, basically swapping every month, and each was quite attractive.

Every few days, he would bring a new girlfriend over to introduce to them.

Everyone was long used to it and didn’t take Mateo’s so-called ’new girlfriend’ seriously. After all, they were not from the same circle, and girls like Velnisa Irvin, in their eyes, were just playthings, and no one would bother to befriend a plaything.

”Who did you see?”

Velnisa felt a chill at Caryn’s gaze, her fingers clutching the bag Mateo bought her, pursing her lips and softly saying, ”A classmate of mine.”

She realized Caryn was trying hard to suppress her displeasure and remembered what Mateo said about this friend’s deep background, knowing many influential figures.

Thinking about the contest spot that was taken from her before, she braced herself, looked Caryn straight in the eyes, and said, ”Nathalie Quinlan, this year’s top scholar in the national college entrance exam, also studying at Tsinghua University, in my department, freshman year. I just seemed to see her inside.”

Caryn initially thought it was just someone with the same name, until she heard that the person was also named Nathalie Quinlan, also at Tsinghua University, also a freshman.

The key point being, also this year’s top scholar in the national exam!

How many top scholars can there be in the national exam each year?

The information Velnisa revealed matched Nathalie Quinlan perfectly, and Caryn’s eyes suddenly turned cold, flashing with a proud chill.
