The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1261: Chapter 1261: Nathalie Quinlan Was Just Seen Getting Into a Sports Car

Valencia Jett sometimes couldn’t figure out what Khendy Lordon was thinking. She’s always been carefree and straightforward, so she didn’t overthink this matter. With a cheerful smile, she started the car and said to Nathalie Quinlan, ”Let’s not talk about him. We haven’t seen each other in a while, let’s go have some fun.”

”I know a club on a hillside in Beijing, the environment is great, it’s not too crowded or noisy, and there’s a golf course and an equestrian field. Want to go?”

”If we go, we can play for a few hours and I’ll drop you off later.”

Nathalie Quinlan looked nonchalant, her dark eyes deep yet restrained as she replied, ”I don’t care, up to you.”

Valencia Jett was even more carefree: ”Then let’s go.”

She stepped on the accelerator to start the car, and in no time, the flashy red sports car disappeared down the road from Tsinghua University’s gate.

Meanwhile, not far away on the other side of the road, Velnisa Irvin and her friend had just returned from the bookstore with some books. On their way back, they saw Nathalie Quinlan get into a red sports car, which vanished in an instant.

Her friend pursed her lips, quite curious, and pointed in the direction where the car disappeared, saying, ”Zi Zi, wasn’t that girl who got into the car just now Nathalie Quinlan?”

Velnisa Irvin, holding her book, answered expressionlessly, ”I don’t know, I didn’t see clearly.”

She claimed she didn’t see clearly, yet her hands tightened, hugging the book closer.

Her friend didn’t notice her unusual expression and excitedly gossiped in her ear: ”I saw it clearly. It seemed like she’s the freshman queen of your department. She’s so pretty, a lot of boys in our class like her, they often talk about her privately.”

”...”

Velnisa Irvin’s eyes flashed with a hint of mockery, she curled her lips but said nothing, though her eyes were filled with disdain.

Nathalie Quinlan’s boyfriend drives a car that costs millions; ordinary boys are probably just paupers in her eyes. She wouldn’t even glance at them, only fools would discuss her in private. Is there any use in discussing it? After all, they’re just a bunch of toads wanting to eat swan meat!

Her friend didn’t know what she was thinking, and spoke enthusiastically about Tsinghua University’s absolute freshman queen this year: ”It’s not just the boys, I’ve seen many girls like her too. She’s pretty cool, the electronic keyboard she played at the school celebration was amazing.”

The girl’s cheeks turned pink, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Velnisa Irvin, clutching her hands with heartfelt admiration: ”Zi Zi, I really envy you, being in the same department as Nathalie Quinlan. It’s a pity I’m a liberal arts student, otherwise, I would have chosen the Chinese Medicine department too!”

Velnisa Irvin was annoyed to hear this, lightly furrowed her brow, and interrupted her: ”Even if you joined the Chinese Medicine department, you wouldn’t see her. She hardly ever comes to class, I’m not really familiar with her.”

”I see, I thought since you were in the same department, you would be close.” The girl, though slow in reacting, could tell Velnisa Irvin was not very friendly towards Nathalie Quinlan, so she immediately shut her mouth, observed her friend’s reaction, and cleverly changed the topic.

Her gaze fell on the bag Velnisa Irvin used to hold her study materials, and she curiously asked, ”Did you get a new bag?”

Velnisa Irvin was filled with thoughts of Nathalie Quinlan, upset and distracted, constantly thinking about that red sports car they just saw while walking.

Though she didn’t recognize the car’s emblem, she could tell from the design that it wasn’t cheap.

It must be a luxury car.

Thinking of this tormented her greatly, and she only snapped back to reality when her friend asked her, instinctively hiding the bag to her side and vaguely saying, ”Um... it’s a new bag.”

The girl didn’t seem as uptight as Velnisa Irvin did, she seemed pretty good-natured, leaned over, and touched the bag, immediately looking up and saying, ”Zi Zi, is this the new model from Coco Chanel?”
