The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1256: Chapter 1256: Nathalie: No particular feeling

When Nathalie Quinlan reached the outside of the arts building, Leo Dunn and other computer science teachers had already arrived.

Seeing the girl arrive on time, Leo Dunn let out a sigh of relief, quickly walked up to Nathalie Quinlan, his lips tightly pressed, still trying to hide his nervousness, and said, ”Nathalie, how is your preparation going?”

The other three team members for the group competition were already present, each sitting in front of their own computers, and the staff had already checked their belongings, only Nathalie hadn’t arrived yet.

Once Nathalie arrived, she would definitely enter immediately.

It would be false to say that Leo Dunn wasn’t nervous.

After all, this was the first time the country had entered the group stage of the international software competition, Nathalie was under pressure, and he too was shouldering pressure from all sides.

His phone had almost been bombarded these past few days.

All were inquiries about their group’s preparation progress.

Looking at the carefree girl in front of him with her hands in her pockets, Leo Dunn felt a pang of bitterness in his heart, unable to suppress a wry smile.

How was he supposed to know how well Nathalie had prepared?

He initially thought about having computer science teachers form a team to brush up Nathalie’s competition skills, but Mr. Wafford opposed it, saying Nathalie didn’t need it.

Leo Dunn couldn’t figure out why Nathalie didn’t need it, but since Mr. Wafford personally stopped them, he could only helplessly give up!

Nathalie walked over and handed her backpack to the security staff for inspection, the brim of her black duckbill cap pressed low, hiding her sleep-deprived dark eyes, quite bold.

”Alright.”

”Alright?” Leo Dunn wasn’t clear on what kind of ’alright’ she meant, standing uneasily beside Nathalie, he touched his nasal bone and put his hand down: ”Have you watched the past group competition videos I sent you?”

”I have.”

Seeing the girl’s indifferent expression, Leo Dunn couldn’t figure out if she had really watched them, but instinctively believed that Nathalie wouldn’t lie: ”How did you feel after watching them?”

Hmm?

Nathalie didn’t quite understand what he meant and didn’t respond immediately, restraining the restlessness in her dark eyes, she raised her wrist, adjusted the brim of her cap, and slowly said: ”No particular feeling.”

Leo Dunn: ...

No particular feeling????

The more uncertain he felt, not knowing what Nathalie meant by no particular feeling.

After watching last year’s group competition videos, he wondered if she found it difficult or felt any pressure... Leo Dunn stood beside the girl, hesitant several times to ask, yet feared putting too much pressure on her, forcibly held back.

...

Meanwhile, the security personnel were inspecting Nathalie’s bag, they emptied the contents and found very few items inside.

Besides a phone and a pair of earphones, the bag only contained a pen, a bottle of chewing gum, and a casually written notebook.

The security staff flipped through the notebook.

The notebook pages were white and clean, barely used, with only a few rough notes written with a watercolor pen in the middle portion.

Like the draft of a score.

The girl’s handwriting was quite careless and casual, somewhat overly audacious.

The security staff looked at it several times and still couldn’t determine what was written in her notebook, silently confiscated the notebook and phone together.

Then put the remaining items back, returned them to Nathalie, and said, ”Okay, you’re ready to go in.”

Nathalie picked up the remaining items, turned to Leo Dunn and said, ”Mr. Dunn, I’ll go in first.”

Going in already?

Leo Dunn was filled with mixed emotions, completely unsure.
