The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1274: Chapter 1274: Nathalie: Alright, no need for cooperation anymore

Nathalie Quinlan suddenly felt like laughing, the corner of her mouth twitched slightly, forming a hint of a mocking arc. Feeling quite irritable, she didn’t explain much to Stanley Zachmann, just said, ”That’s my friend. We haven’t seen each other for a long time. She happened to be in Beijing for business, so we arranged to meet up.”

”As for the Serenity Clubhouse...”

Nathalie’s tone was quite irritable, suppressing a gang-like flair with coldness: ”I am currently with a friend having a drink at the Serenity Clubhouse.”

”I know, Dad trusts you.” Stanley Zachmann detected the cold and irritable tone from the girl on the other end of the phone, hurriedly saying: ”I didn’t doubt you. Who you hang out with is your business, and I never intended to interfere. But Hendrik... he found your grandpa here, so I thought to inform you.”

Stanley Zachmann sounded quite helpless, carefully asking her: ”Nathalie, how about you come back for a bit?”

Nathalie didn’t say anything, the brightness in her eyes dimmed a bit.

Fearing she might feel upset, Stanley quickly explained: ”Don’t overthink it, both your grandpa and I trust you. It’s just that Hendrik won’t leave your grandpa’s place, and your grandpa isn’t well, so if he doesn’t leave, your grandpa can’t rest properly. That’s why I’m asking you if you can find time to come over.”

”Nathalie, don’t worry, just come back, with your Dad here, no one can bully you!”

Nathalie responded with a hum, hung up the phone, put it down, and said to Valencia Jett: ”Let’s wrap up for today, I have to go back.”

”Now?” Valencia stood up with her, looking at her with concern: ”Has something happened at your home?”

Nathalie recalled the phone call from Stanley Zachmann earlier, her good mood seemed to be covered with frost, eyes slightly darkened, she didn’t explain in detail: ”Not really, just a bunch of clowns causing trouble.”

”Clowns dare to cause trouble in front of you?” Valencia squinted her eyes, her face turning stern: ”They’re sick of living!”

”Who knows, they’re quite comfortable living. I’ll go back and find out what they want.”

Nathalie’s face remained expressionless, quite indifferent, as she seemed to remember something. Before leaving, she suddenly stopped, turned back and said: ”By the way, don’t bother discussing that business anymore, we’re not cooperating, there’s no need!”

Before Hendrik and his friends caused trouble, she might have considered it out of respect for Leonardy Zachmann as an elder.

Now there’s no need.

Celine Tucker was right before, since the Zachmann family had split, they are two families.

She wasn’t saintly enough to want to help those causing trouble around her for free, and the reason to help them was merely that they had some so-called blood relation.

If that’s how blood relations are supposed to be used, then there’s no need!

”You’re talking about the cooperation Zachmann Group wants with us?”

”Yeah, just cancel the cooperation.”

Seeing the girl’s indifferent attitude, Valencia realized belatedly and didn’t ask more, or rather the matter wasn’t even worth her questioning, she simply said: ”OK, I’ll inform them not to bother with Zachmann Group’s side anymore...”

In a certain nursing home in Beijing.

Stanley Zachmann had just finished his phone call and ran into Hendrik Zachmann coming out.

Seeing him, Hendrik’s eyes initially showed some avoidance and guilt, but after a moment, he seemed to calm down, frowned, and blocked Stanley’s way: ”Uncle, I have something to tell you.”

Stanley Zachmann stopped in place without expression, his facial expression extremely cold: ”Say it. Finish quickly because I need to go in and accompany your grandpa.”
