The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 53: Chapter 53: I Demand the School Expel Nathalie Quinlan_1

The student’s parent was still here, so it wasn’t appropriate for him to criticize Gabriella Cagwin. He could only patiently inquire, in a gentle voice, of Nathalie Quinlan, ”Nathalie Quinlan, what urgent matter did you encounter yesterday afternoon?”

”It’s okay, just talk to the teacher. Your Mr. Sullivan has already agreed not to hold it against you this time, but you must not do it again in the future.”

His gentle demeanor seemed particularly unpleasant to Ghania Quinlan’s eyes.

Clearly Nathalie Quinlan had skipped class without asking for leave, and the director of studies wasn’t pursuing the matter, but was protecting Nathalie in every aspect, which was too unfair!

She secretly clenched her fingers, her eyes flickering, hiding the malice in them while pretending to be considerate of Nathalie as she stepped forward to speak, ”Sister, just tell the teachers!”

With that intervention,

Everyone in the office fixed their gaze on her.

Nathalie Quinlan narrowed her eyes and, with a mocking smile, hands in pockets, radiating a thuggish air, countered, ”Oh, then why don’t you help me tell the teachers what I should say?”

Ghania Quinlan’s fair face turned an angry red, feeling that Nathalie Quinlan was deliberately making it difficult for her, her eyes almost shooting daggers, and with bitten lips, a forced, helpless expression, she softly said, ”It’s about yesterday evening... the incident of you entering the police station...”

”Among the people you fought with, one is Lidya’s nephew, you... no matter what, you shouldn’t have hit anyone.”

”I heard it was in the middle of the street.”

With lips pursed and feigning concern for Nathalie’s well-being, she said airily, ”If the onlookers who saw it knew you were a student at No. 1 Middle School, it would reflect poorly on the school. Sister, you really went too far this time. The director and the teachers all trust you, you shouldn’t let them down. Admit your mistake soon. It’s never too late to mend, I’m sure the school and the teachers will give you a chance to correct your error...”

The faces of everyone in the office changed after hearing her words.

”You’re saying Nathalie Quinlan fought outside of school yesterday afternoon and was taken to the police station?!” Especially the director of studies, who had been protecting Nathalie in every aspect, his face alternated between red and black with disbelief, unable to believe his own ears.

Skipping class for no reason and fighting outside of school, leading to police involvement, are completely different in nature!

However much he valued talent, he had to consider the century-long reputation of McKinney No. 1 Middle School.

Nancy Sullivan’s face was also ashen. She had already been skeptical about Nathalie Quinlan passing the preliminary exam with full marks, suspecting she had used connections, and now hearing that she had been fighting, she slammed her hands on the desk in anger, demanding strongly, ”Mr. Young, I might overlook her skipping class, but you must give me an explanation for this. Otherwise, I will not allow such a student in class A!”

Fighting, what is this, acting like a delinquent?

Ghania Quinlan, upon hearing that Nathalie Quinlan might not be able to stay in class A, struggled to keep her smile from showing.

At this moment, Emilia Sullivan, who had been silent, also stood up, holding her purse, pridefully smoothing out the wrinkles on her skirt from sitting, her demeanor and poise exuding an air of superiority over everyone, she said decisively to the beleaguered director, ”Mr. Young, I expect you to expel Nathalie Quinlan.”

At these words, everyone in the office was momentarily stunned.

No one expected her to be so direct, so forceful!

Nancy Sullivan had only expressed that if the matter were true, she would not want Nathalie Quinlan in their class.

But Emilia Sullivan directly called for expulsion in front of everyone!
