Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 196: Chapter 93 At this moment, Armor-Piercing Level is still on its way_3

The Commander could keenly perceive from the changes in the battle situation that more company spacecraft, like those of the Cow Herder, suddenly exhibited combat abilities far exceeding their typical combat power limits.

This resulted in unexpected outcomes in localized battles that were supposed to gain an advantage under his planning.

The situation, which was supposed to use his dispatch to gain an advantage in the small-scale energy exchange of combat power on the battlefield, forcing the opponent to compress their battle lines, suddenly changed.

A lack of firepower to break through the enemy’s shields emerged, even putting the executing ships themselves into danger.

Though this didn’t occur simultaneously, and in some areas, ships under his commend did achieve some results.

However, the areas where results had just been achieved were immediately offset by the company’s ships whose combat powers suddenly surged.

The Commander felt as if every company ship could achieve several times more energy capacity and firepower output than normal ships.

Whether it was live ammunition, missiles, or energy weapons, they seemed limitless, constantly counter-attacking the military vessels.

Even their shields could hold on much longer than usual.

It was as if the entire ship was refreshed when it was about to reach its limit.

This situation posed a gap in the Commander’s long-standing experience.

Yet, he did not panic; instead, he cast aside past experiences in his mind.

He slowed down the offensive pressure against the company fleet and began to reassess this company fleet.

By examining the real-time situations of several small-scale battles that made up a larger battlefield, the Commander discovered some patterns.

He found out that not all ships in the company fleet exhibited abilities far beyond normal; only those at the Destroyer level showed such special performances.

Additionally, he caught another characteristic: all the ships exceeding their combat limit capabilities did so only after approaching the Cow Herder.

Has the Cow Herder prepared a lot of combat materials for other ships to replenish?

No.

The Commander immediately dismissed his thought.

Because he had discovered more situations.

In the sensor scan results, next to the Cow Herder, there was a small Shuttle Boat for small-scale personnel transfers between ships, parked right there.

Every ship that neared the Cow Herder was not approaching the Cow Herder itself but that Shuttle Boat.

Only the Destroyers that had contacted the Shuttle Boat displayed increasingly terrifying combat abilities when returning to the combat front line.

”Could it be...”

A budding guess formed in the Commander’s heart.

He immediately called his deputy over, multitasking by commanding the fleet while saying, ”Besides patrolling and inspecting the Dusk Ship’s frequent regions, isn’t there something else we’re supposed to do? Trace a wanted criminal?”

The deputy immediately gave him an answer, ”Yes, this person named Chen Ming is most likely within the Sinda Corporation’s fleet.”

”Chen Ming...what’s his intelligence?”

The deputy quickly retrieved the organized intelligence from the Military Outpost, beginning to verbally report as the Commander didn’t have the time to read the documents himself.

”Chen Ming, senior Maintenance Master at Sinda Rockwell Corporation’s headquarters, later transferred to be the head senior Maintenance Master at Sinda Corporation’s mining subsidiary, assigned to perform cold sleep tasks at Mining Space Station DG-C-9527.”

”In April 5569 AD, colluded with pirates to release large-scale biological hazardous weapons at the Mining Space Station. This information confirmed yesterday, and a relevant wanted notice has been issued.”

The Commander, not hearing more, asked, ”Nothing else?”

”The Outpost mainly provides some identity records, no special content.”

”Nothing? What’s his family background?”

”Orphan.”

”Then what’s his reason for doing this?”

”Not known yet.”

The Commander’s expression rarely changed, saying, ”A person obviously seeking promotion through field tasks suddenly inexplicably colludes with pirates to release large-scale bio-hazard weapons at his workplace?”

”I remember this star system’s military blockade lasted for thirty years, and they didn’t find people who’ve stayed in the system all along?”

”Yet, the Sinda Corporation, victim of a destroyed space station, found him as the ’mastermind’ and dispatched an Escort Fleet to take him away?”

”What a joke?”

Saying this, the Commander once again slowed the frequency of his fleet’s attacks.

He directly took over the terminal from his deputy, pulling up several documents provided by the military.

Alongside, he also retrieved additional information investigated by his subordinates.

Upon confirming these items, the Commander suddenly gave a cold laugh and said, ”Ha, Sinda’s mining rights, Sinda’s Mining Space Station, people who escaped from the Space Station, and military-owned Sky Steel’s output.”

”How did I not notice this aspect when I participated in missions before,”

The deputy beside wanted to say because you were fixated on fighting with Dusk too long, volunteered for the audit task of Dusk’s frequent places without thinking of the Station Chief’s reaction, but ultimately didn’t dare say it.

The Commander suddenly put down the terminal, looked at the deputy, and said, ”Those few ships claimed to have discharged weapons, where are they? Give me their list, you know what I want.”

The deputy nodded, left for a moment, and quickly returned to the command room.
