Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 194: Chapter 93 At this moment, Armor-Piercing Level is still on the way

The situation is dire.

Chen Ming didn’t hesitate much; he directly took off his gauntlet and pressed it against the wall behind him.

[New spaceship signal detected, would you like to switch brain control signal connection?]

[Current connected spaceships: 2/2]

At the moment, Chen Ming is directly connected to one Centurion Level ship on the battlefield, and another Armor-Piercing Level ship that is on its way.

As for the Iron Ore No., which has been hiding behind the Cow Herder since the battle started, Chen Ming had stopped controlling it from the moment the battle began. Anyway, the Cow Herder basically wouldn’t move, so Iron Ore No. was safe staying there.

So in the current situation, Chen Ming could only disconnect the Armor-Piercing Level ship, letting it continue flying according to its autopilot system towards the Space Station.

At the same time, he instructed the Centurion to start retreating from the edge of the battle line, preparing to transfer control to the Armor-Piercing Level ship at any moment.

There was no time to wait long; Chen Ming silently murmured in his heart, ”Switch.”

In an instant, Chen Ming felt a momentary blur in his mind.

Then, nothing else happened—the negative impact of controlling this Cow Herder Level ship was simply that.

It wasn’t what Chen Ming expected, like when he controlled Refraction and broke through from Frigate to Destroyer, experiencing the brain-stinging pain of breaking limits. It felt like doing something routine.

That said, Chen Ming still noticed that the number of currently connected spaceships on the panel became 2/3, indicating that controlling the new ship still consumed some Spiritual Power; otherwise, there wouldn’t be a corresponding increase in Spiritual Energy.

Chen Ming reconnected the Centurion to provide support to the fleet at the battle line’s edge.

Then he opened the panel for the Cow Herder Level.

A panel almost completely occupied his entire field of view immediately popped up.

However, Chen Ming didn’t have time to check the specific values on the panel in detail.

He could only quickly scan the most critical content for the spaceship.

Radian Energy, Armor, Weapons, and the fighter jets unique to the carrier.

The Cow Herder’s Radian Energy capacity is currently 2159/6000, in a relatively good state.

After all, the Cow Herder’s weapons mostly launch missile weapons that don’t have Radian Energy capacity growth, so all its Radian Energy capacity can be purely used for Shield defense, maintaining a good Radian Energy state.

The Shield has not been breached, so naturally, the Armor hasn’t been damaged.

Therefore, the Cow Herder’s Armor is also without any issues.

But there’s a slight issue with the weapons.

The Cow Herder’s panel displayed over a dozen missile mount points at different positions on the ship, all showing a lack of ammunition supply.

All the missile mount points on the Cow Herder use Annihilator Missiles.

They were deployed massively and without regard to loss right at the start of the battle.

Even though Chen Ming found a missile production workshop built into the Cow Herder, by now it was a bit too late to meet the mount point launch demand.

However, Chen Ming’s abilities are meant for situations like this.

The warehouse next to the production workshop has a plentiful stock of semi-finished materials for missile production, with materials in abundance.

And Chen Ming’s maintenance ability allows him to load ammunition into weapons, whether it’s ordinary metal projectiles or complex missiles; as long as there are materials, they can be directly loaded in.

But Chen Ming didn’t rush to act immediately.

There’s another thing that needed his attention.

The Cow Herder’s fighter jets.

[Flight Deck (Level One): 39/80 (16)]

This is a line of information related to the fighter jets shown on the panel, with three other lines similar to this one.

Each line represents a flight deck level on the Cow Herder Level.

The first number in the detailed content refers to the current number of fighter jets parked on the flight deck.

The second is the maximum number of fighter jets each deck can accommodate.

The third is the number of fighter jets currently engaged in foreign combat.

The overall data is roughly the same.

Chen Ming can be sure the Cow Herder was fully stocked with fighter jets before departure.

Thus, the missing numbers on the panel indicate that nearly a third of each deck’s fighter squadron has been lost.

Chen Ming couldn’t help the outside spacecraft now; the panel couldn’t affect those fighter jets.

But for those resting on the deck or returning due to severe damage, he could do something.

Having determined where his ability was needed, Chen Ming immediately pressed the repair button on the panel.

About ten seconds later.

The captain’s communication channel suddenly filled with noise.

A voice, extremely tense and hurried, said: ”Captain, the fighter jets on the deck have suddenly been repaired by some metal liquid that appeared from nowhere! And those liquids are auto-constructing the lost fighter jets; what on earth is happening?”

Chen Ming, being close to the captain, naturally heard the voice in the communication channel.

He was equally surprised that the panel could not only repair damaged fighter jets but also restore lost ships.

This ability to supplement fighter jets could continuously stock the deck up to the limit the flight deck could bear.

Of course, this calculation included the fighter jets still fighting outside and not yet returned.

Chen Ming felt that the repair function provided by his panel was genuinely the kind of mystical ability that defies logical explanation.

He didn’t need the technical knowledge of what needed repairing; as long as the item was on the ship and there were enough materials, Chen Ming dared to attempt repair.
