Chen Ming looked at the Armor-Piercing Level panel open before him, and once more, a look of amazement appeared on his face.

The quality of the Armor-Piercing Level ship had already far exceeded the limits he initially imagined.

Not only does it have radiant energy capacity exceeding the Refraction Level by 3,500, but it also has more than double the radiant energy dissipation of the Refraction Level.

Even just judging by this, the power of the Armor-Piercing Level is beyond any doubt.

And the foundation of this power is supported by the design of the ship’s armor and hull.

The armor used in the Armor-Piercing Level is a light radiation energy diversion armor built with White Cloud Steel Flowing Gold composite material.

Not only is the armor itself designed with numerous channels internally for radiance dissipation.

It also chose Flowing Gold, the material with the best radiant energy conductivity compared to other advanced metals for making the armor.

With such dual reinforcement, Chen Ming was not too surprised by the exaggerated radiance dissipation efficiency of the Armor-Piercing Level.

However, Flowing Gold as a material inherently lacks strength, even though the armor manufactured by compounding with White Cloud Steel and other materials inherently suffers some strength reduction.

But this does not affect the power of the Armor-Piercing Level.

Because what the armor lacks can be compensated for in other areas.

The special equipment installed within the Armor-Piercing Level is also part of the reason for its power.

For instance, the Large High-Energy Focusing System Module, Chen Ming was all too familiar with its function.

And a large module of this kind provides an enhancement to the ship’s energy weapons that Chen Ming thought went without saying.

Instead, Chen Ming had to research a bit to understand the other Antiparticle Energy Activation Module and Energy Quality Stabilizer.

The Antiparticle Energy Activation Module consists of an antiparticle capture device and an antiparticle excitation device.

It can capture and stimulate antiparticles to obtain high-energy output from the ship’s energy system temporarily, supporting the energy consumption of large weapons.

As for the Energy Quality Stabilizer, Chen Ming initially thought it was related to the radiance energy system.

But as he researched, he suddenly remembered it was actually a hot research topic from thirty years ago.

How to enable energy weapons to inflict substantial hard-side energy increases on the attacked ships.

Energy weapons, due to their inherent properties, can only cause soft radiant energy enhancement upon hitting a ship’s shield.

Yet because of their superior performance in space combat and excellent radiant energy output ratio, humanity couldn’t forsake them.

Hence, this topic remained ever-popular.

Unexpectedly, there was finally a result after thirty years.

The effect of the Energy Quality Stabilizer is very simple, it stabilizes all energy weapons’ emissions, whether binding energy bullets or directly launched energy beams.

Exchanging the range of the energy weapon for making its projectiles and beams have an effect similar to conventional ammunition.

Of course, this stabilizer also requires a large amount of radiant energy to support it.

Coupled with the consumption of the ship’s weapons, that’s why the Armor-Piercing Level possesses such a top-tier radiant energy system.

However, this radiant energy system has also led to considerable compression of the ship’s internal space in its design.

On this 145-meter Armor-Piercing Level, the space taken up by all the internal chambers is less than half of the ship’s total volume.

Under such a design, the control room of the Armor-Piercing Level naturally sees its size reduced, and the control equipment within has also been significantly streamlined, thus requiring high proficiency from those piloting the ship.

However, this turned out to be a design very suitable for Chen Ming.

At any rate, as long as the ship’s controls are in his hand, regardless of how well Chen Ming can pilot it, he certainly can make the ship function, with all systems operational, using only one person.

The small size of the control room has no impact on him.

Overall, although the Armor-Piercing Level has the drawbacks of ship control difficulty and weak armor, these shortcomings do not overshadow its most powerful feature.

A large weapon supported by top-notch technological equipment, installable on a destroyer.

Chen Ming had already witnessed the actual effects of large weapons several times.

From the Space Station having several arms severed, to the destruction of half a military outpost, to those two Refraction Level military ships intending to attack Chen Ming being annihilated by a torrent of high-energy particles.

He knew very well the potential of large weapons and understood the significant meaning of having a large weapon mounted on a destroyer.
