Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 349: Chapter 351: Is the Monkey Inviting the Funny Guy?

Chapter 351: Was That Monkey Hired for Fun?

And then an idea struck her mind, and she really found it.

”You make the call, oh Tangtang, the chicken blood you spread in the hall earlier, was it a bit too thick? How long will it take to dry?” Whenever she thought of the two of them pinching their noses to buy the rooster at the market this morning, she felt disgusted, especially during the slaughter, when both girls had spent the time nearly screaming.

”Er, I don’t really know. It should dry up pretty soon, I guess.” Liu Tangtang scratched her head, somewhat confused.

”Then never mind whether it dries or not, let’s just call that beast first. Otherwise, he might get so agitated that he actually goes to report us to the police, and then we’d really be done for.”

”Lord Hua, are you scared now?” Liu Tangtang thought this matter wasn’t illegal, and in her mind, it didn’t seem so exaggerated.

”Me... scare? If that jerk dares to mess with me, then I, Hua Buqi, must teach him a lesson. Don’t think that Hua Buqi can be bullied just like that, huh! Now that we have gone and done it, we need to do it splendidly. We have to make that beast jump up and down in frustration!”

...

If Lin Zifeng and Nangong Bing knew that these two had played a disappearing act at home, they would be furious enough to spit blood, still playing childish tricks at their age.

Right then, Lin Zifeng’s cell phone suddenly rang.

”Hello! Is it... Uncle?” came Liu Tangtang’s pitiful voice from the other end.

”Tangtang?” Lin Zifeng’s eyes widened, pointing at the phone and whispering to Nangong Bing, ”It’s Liu Tangtang!”

”What! Tangtang?” Nangong Bing also snapped out of her surprise immediately.

”Tangtang, where are you right now, how are you, are you with Huahua? Where are you guys?” Nangong Bing was so excited that she snatched the phone from Lin Zifeng’s hand and asked several worried questions in one go.

The Liu Tangtang on the other side of the phone suddenly fell silent.

There was no response for a long time, as if she had died.

”Uh... Lord Hua. It’s Sister Nangong who picked up the call, what should I say now?” It wasn’t a problem for Liu Tangtang to deceive Lin Zifeng, but deceiving Nangong Bing seemed somewhat difficult for the two.

”Cousin?” Huahua was also startled, nearly choking on the chicken leg she had been eating because of Liu Tangtang’s scare.

”Of course you have to say it! Do you expect me to lie to my own cousin? This was your idea; you have to see it through to the end.”

”Lord Hua, you’re clearly shirking responsibility. Although this was my idea, it was approved by you. Why push everything onto me, really, I’m doing all this for you!” Liu Tangtang rolled her eyes, mumbling under her breath, but dared not to say it in front of Huahua.

”Sister Nangong, I’m really miserable, I’m so pitiable right now.” Just after discussing with Huahua, this girl, with a big chicken leg in her mouth, actually started crying pitifully to Nangong Bing?

”What’s going on with you guys? Where are you? What exactly happened?” Nangong Bing, being too anxious, didn’t even wait for Liu Tangtang to compose herself and started interrogating.

”I... We are now...” Liu Tangtang hadn’t come up with an excuse yet and just mumbled with a mouthful of chicken leg, whimpering unclearly: ”Wuwu, Sister Nangong, we are so miserable! We are really miserable! Huahua and I are so pitiable!”

Watching Liu Tangtang stuffing her mouth with a chicken leg and putting on a solo performance, even Huahua kept turning her head back, dumbfounded by her acting.

”Come on! Tangtang, were you sent by a monkey to amuse us?” At that moment, Hua Buqi, also with a big chicken leg in her mouth, stared with incredulous eyes.

”Wuwu, Sister Nangong, please let Uncle answer the phone, I still have so much to tell him, I really want to talk to Uncle, wuwu...” she said, starting to act coquettishly.

Nangong Bing was scared out of her wits at that moment, thinking that Liu Tangliang and Hua Buqi had really been kidnapped by some villains.

”Hello, is it Tangtang?” Lin Zifeng took over the phone, feeling somewhat puzzled. Could it be true that they had been abducted and insisted on him answering the phone?

”Wuwu, Uncle, it’s me.” Liu Tangtang said, with her mouth stuffed with chicken leg.

”You, what’s wrong with you?” Hearing Liu Tangtang speak, Lin Zifeng just burst into laughter.

”Uncle, we are so miserable, wuwu... Huahua and I don’t even have food to eat, we are so miserable, so miserable.”

You hear about people being pretentious and cutesy, but never about someone acting pitiful over the phone like this.

”You don’t have food to eat? That miserable?” Lin Zifeng said in surprise.

”Yes, Uncle, I’m so miserable right now that I don’t even have food to eat, please save me and Huahua, wuwu.” Saying this, she started to act pitiful again.

My goodness! Her mouth was stuffed full, and she was saying she is miserable? She has no food to eat?

Who are you kidding?

”What’s the situation now?” Nangong Bing was obviously getting worried as time dragged on, and her mood worsened.

”What should I say?” Lin Zifeng waved his hand, signaling Nangong Bing not to worry too much.

”Uncle, are you even listening to me?” Liu Tangtang had just swallowed a huge piece of chicken, peering through a small hole in the wall at the villa outside, but that annoying uncle had actually hung up the phone on her!

What infuriated Liu Tangtang the most was that the sleazy uncle had actually driven away with Sister Nangong!

What kind of rhythm is this?

”Beep beep beep...”

Listening to the beep from the phone, Liu Tangtang was completely dumbfounded.

”Lord Hua!” Liu Tangtang let out a fearful shout, pouting with a face as aggrieved as it could get,

”What’s wrong?” Huahua asked bewilderedly as she enjoyed her food.

”The uncle actually hung up my phone.” Liu Tangtang pouted, looking as miserable as a child could look.

”Ah?! Really?!” Huahua was also shocked.

Could this beast be ignoring me?

If someone really was trying to kidnap them this time, would that beast actually not save me?

”Lord Hua, it looks like our plan has failed.” At this moment, Liu Tangtang was utterly despondent and couldn’t believe that Lin Zifeng had seen through the strategy her clever brain had devised—it was unscientific!

”Well, what do we do now?”

”How would I know what to do? If anything, we’ll just have to come up with another plan,” Liu Tangtang said.

”Hmph! I knew this beast was up to no good. Now that he’s discovered my relationship with my cousin, he’s definitely looking for an opportunity to get back at me. Don’t think I’ll just give in, I’m going to make this beast pay!” Hua Buqi secretly vowed.

But no sooner had she finished speaking than the door to the Dark Pavilion squeaked open.

Lin Zifeng walked in from the side of the main door, cigarette dangling from his lips, step by step.

”Beast!”

”Uncle!”

The two women shouted in unison, surprised.

”Are you having fun?” Lin Zifeng said with a sneer, looking at both of them as if he was half-smiling.

”How, how did you know we were here?” Huahua stared with wide eyes, incredulous; could this beast have extrasensory perception?

”Tell me, whose lousy idea was this in the first place?”

”It was her! Tangtang came up with it! It has nothing to do with me.”

Huahua unloyally pointed to Liu Tangtang, who was stuffing her face with food and looked completely shocked.

”Tangtang, sorry, but this plan was your idea, so you’ll have to take responsibility for now, yeah. I’m leaving first.” Saying this, before Liu Tangtang could react, Huahua boldly grabbed the food from the table and ran outside, murmuring something in Lin Zifeng’s ear as she pointed at Liu Tangtang, and then under Liu Tangtang’s shocked gaze, she wiggled her little butt and just took off slapping her own behind?

”Wuwu, Lord Hua, I can’t believe you’re so disloyal. You actually left me alone; don’t you want me anymore?”

Watching Huahua disappear with a bunch of food in hand, Liu Tangtang felt like crying too.

What made Liu Tangtang feel incredibly unjust was that the uncle didn’t even try to stop Lord Hua and just let her leave. Could it be that the uncle was really targeting me now? Wuwu, what, what does the uncle want to do to me next? Will he hit me? Wuwu, I’m scared...

”You came up with this crazy plan?” Lin Zifeng’s smile slowly faded, replaced by a mocking expression. In the empty surroundings, Liu Tangtang started to feel scared.

”Uncle, I’m innocent, okay? Things aren’t what you think. Can you listen to me explain?”

”Explain? You mean cover up, right?” Lin Zifeng scoffed coldly. Squinting his eyes, his gaze unabashedly swept over Liu Tangtang’s decently developed body, revealing a sleazy smile like a bad uncle. ”Having fun fooling around with me, huh? Since you had your fun, isn’t it time for me to have a bit of fun?”

”Uncle, what are you trying to do? Please don’t do this; I’m really scared.” Liu Tangtang’s fearful eyes widened as she stepped back, arms tightly wrapped around her chest, making Lin Zifeng look as if he was about to abduct her.

”What do I want to do, heh, you know it all.” Lin Zifeng touched his chin with his right hand, revealing a wicked smile.

”Uncle, please stop scaring me, okay? I really get scared.”

”You think I’m that easy to fool? Were you feeling very successful and accomplished with your plan just now?”

If Liu Tangtang and Huahua were just fooling around, that would be one thing, but what was crucial was that despite their young age, they had pulled a ’crying wolf.’ Even Nangong Bing, who cared about them, was deceived by them. This made Lin Zifeng quite upset.

”Have you ever heard the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf?” Lin Zifeng asked.
