Chapter 246 I Like Eating Buns

”Uh, hehe, Sister Fang, don’t tease me anymore. You like to eat these street stall snacks too? I’m afraid I can’t take responsibility if it upsets your stomach.”

Lin Zifeng was slightly taken aback, then narrowed his eyes and joked.

He thought to himself that this woman was just playing with him, getting friendly with him after only a few days of acquaintance. He really didn’t know what was so appealing about him that attracted women’s favor so much.

”Who says I’m teasing you? I’m not as pretentious as you think.” Saying this, she snatched the remainder of Lin Zifeng’s breakfast from his hand, took a bite without a word, didn’t even frown, and with a playful roll of her eyes, she laughed coyly and said, ”What do you think, do I look like I’m teasing you?”

Watching Zheng Xiaofang savoring her food, Lin Zifeng was speechless...

”Actually, this breakfast is pretty good; I haven’t eaten anything like it for many years. Could you possibly bring more next time?” Under Lin Zifeng’s astonished gaze, Zheng Xiaofang actually started asking him to bring more breakfast.

This is just ridiculous.

A senior white-collar eating at a street stall?

”Uh, that might not be so good?” Poor Lin Zifeng had no idea whether she was just teasing him. As a senior white-collar, how could she possibly like this kind of rough and nutritious-lacking, not to mention dirty, street stall food? She was obviously joking and playing with him.

”What’s wrong with that?” After swallowing the food in her mouth, Zheng Xiaofang’s eyebrows knitted slightly, a hint of displeasure appeared on her face, and she pretended to be angry, ”Is it so hard to bring some breakfast for Sister Fang? I’m not even asking you to not pay, why be so petty?”

”No, no, no!” Lin Zifeng rolled his eyes, wishing he could just slap himself hard for being so inarticulate.

”Sister Fang, that’s not what I meant; how could I be stingy about such a small amount of money?”

Seeing Lin Zifeng’s frustrated attempts to explain, Zheng Xiaofang secretly smiled and, feeling playful, put on a serious face and said, ”Then you were just saying you’d be willing, are you afraid I can’t afford it?”

Zheng Xiaofang knew well that wasn’t Lin Zifeng’s meaning but still insisted on arguing and teasing him. She was a true elf, indeed. Fortunately, Lin Zifeng wasn’t a casual man, or else how many beauties of Tianyu Group would suffer misfortune from his charms.

”Oh my dear Sister Fang, please stop teasing me, I really can’t take it.”

”Alright, alright, I was just teasing you. Do you really need to put on such a long face?”

Damn it, it’s only been a few days, and he’s already being teased like this. If this continues, he’ll become her constant subject of amusement.

Lin Zifeng secretly wiped off another bead of sweat.

”Please don’t scare me, Sister Fang. I’m really timid, if this keeps going on, I might actually develop a heart condition from the fright.”

”Oh, come off it, is it really as bad as you make it sound? In your heart, do you really see Sister Fang as that horrible? Enough to scare you into a heart attack?”

Zheng Xiaofang was determined to properly tease this man who was actually older than herself. With her graceful, alluring figure accentuated by the thin clothes, she indeed made for a stunning sight, especially as she leaned against the water room’s security door, her exquisite posture sending Lin Zifeng’s heart racing. Despite her young age, Zheng Xiaofang’s development was truly exceptional, a gem among gems when it came to enticing and teasing men, she had quite the knack for it.

If this were merely a nightclub where people came to seek pleasure, Lin Zifeng would have reached out with his ”demonic hand” without any hesitation, eager to confirm whether she was the real deal.

Although Lin Zifeng had seen plenty of beautiful women with unique charms from around the world, he only ever had his heart moved by two types of women.

Eastern classic beauties were the typical goddesses in any yellow-skinned man’s heart, and Lin Zifeng was no exception.

And the other type was the Eurasian beauty, a one in a hundred rarity, unbeatable in terms of elegance. Living in this world, Lin Zifeng had encountered only a handful of mixed-race beauties.

When Fan Jian had put him in his place before, Lin Zifeng had seen that Eurasian nurse beauty, which thoroughly made his blood rush. Mixed blood aside, she was a ”Persian cat” with a uniform fetish. How could he not be moved?

”What are you looking at?”

After gulping down a cup of coffee, Zheng Xiaofang slowly lifted her chin and saw Lin Zifeng’s eyes shining, unblinkingly fixated on her chest. She coughed twice as a reminder.

”Nothing, nothing,” Lin Zifeng said, his gaze dodgy, a hint of embarrassment on his face. He secretly wished Xiaofang hadn’t stood up so quickly. If only she had stayed a little longer, how great would that have been.

Reluctantly, he moved his gaze away.

Seemingly aware of Lin Zifeng’s little thought, Zheng Xiaofang didn’t call him out. She didn’t blush like those young girls but instead, stirred her coffee slowly and smiled, ”Remember, I’m counting on you for breakfast tomorrow. Don’t you dare eat all by yourself. And definitely don’t starve Sister Fang. If I get angry, the consequences can be quite severe.”

”Uh, Sister Fang, don’t worry. As long as I have something to eat, I’ll never forget your share. Just tell me what you like to eat. I’ll bring it for you every morning from now on,” Lin Zifeng said as he approached to flatter her, aware that maintaining good relationships in the company was vital for survival. If he was ostracized, the consequences could be dire.

”I’ll have whatever you’re having,” Zheng Xiaofang tapped her lips with her slender white fingers. Then, with a giggle, she said, ”Simple, right?”

”Simple!” Lin Zifeng answered seriously.

Yet, internally he was complaining. You’ll eat whatever I eat? If I have a steamed bun, are you telling me you’d willingly share that too? You, a senior executive, eating a steamed bun alongside me, a title-bearing but powerless assistant director. Won’t people laugh us out of the building?

”Alright, I better get back to work. Don’t you forget my breakfast tomorrow morning,” she warned.

Zheng Xiaofang lifted her delicate white finger, then cast Lin Zifeng a coquettish glance, and, swaying her dainty hips, walked towards the Finance Department with a radiant smile.
