Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 240: Chapter 243: The Beast Who Takes Advantage of the Chaos

Chapter 243: Taking Advantage of the Chaos

It’s good for young calves not to fear tigers, but blind self-confidence can be costly.

At the bustling entrance of the residential area, a large crowd of residents gathered around. Some were there to watch the excitement, some to give advice, but no one came forward to say a few good words. Being a good person is not bad, but being a foolish good person without understanding only invites trouble. Favors only work once; use them too much, and they lose their value.

The heroism Su Ni displayed is rarely seen in today’s society, where flattery prevails and people stab each other in the back.

It was her character that greatly improved Lin Zifeng’s impression of her. He hadn’t expected this seemingly fiery little cop to have such a righteous side. It was truly commendable. Such people did exist in the world but were mostly destroyed by the dark realities.

Under the disturbance of the crowd, Su Ni moved through like an agile civet cat, trying to maintain order. But after all, a woman’s capabilities are somewhat limited. If Su Ni were to catch a thief, her abilities would definitely surprise many, since she had graduated from the police academy.

However, she was somewhat inadequate in handling this kind of social unrest.

She was sandwiched between two obese car owners. As they jostled each other, Su Ni soon became somewhat overwhelmed. She calmed one car owner down, only for the other to start making trouble again, and soon her head was spinning.

The onlookers, with their eager spectator mentality, watched attentively, unwilling to step forward and help this fragile woman.

”I don’t mind telling you, if you really want to play, I will play with you all you want. I’m lacking nothing right now but money, so if you want to fight, I’ll take you on!”

With Su Ni in the middle trying to mediate, the Buick owner became blatantly arrogant at that moment, acting as if he were the protagonist of the scene, going crazy, the very epitome of excitement.

”Ha! Rich? You look like a prostate gland, and you say your family has money. You look like an onion head. What are you arrogant about? You think you’re tough? Come on then, weren’t you going to fight me? I’m right here today, I dare you to hit my face. Come on! Come hit me right here!”

The Volkswagen owner’s taunting was even more arrogant and arrogant than that of the Buick owner. Under the gaze of the crowd, he actually stretched his head in front of the Buick owner and, with one hand pointing at his twisted face from anger, glared fiercely with a sinister smile. This kind of argument was indeed more intense than physical fighting; it was truly compelling.

”Both of you, stop arguing!” Trapped in the middle, Su Ni was in a no-win situation. She calmed the Buick owner, but then the Volkswagen owner started shouting again.

Imagine how a gentle woman could stop two brawny, aggressive men.

”Sigh, this girl is really nosing into others’ business unnecessarily.”

”Exactly, it’s not like there are no cops around. Why does she have to stick her neck out? She can’t even manage her own affairs and yet finds the time to meddle in others’.”

By then, the crowd of onlookers, old and young, grew larger and more vocal.

Despite the intervention of friends, the two car owners continued to verbally assault each other unrestrainedly.

They did not feel embarrassed in the slightest.

In front of so many people, didn’t they feel ashamed? Normally, they would do anything for face, using all kinds of pretentious tactics to glorify themselves, but now the two were unyielding, going as far as repeatedly cursing each other’s ancestors until they were satisfied.

Meanwhile, not far away, Lin Zifeng casually wiped off the greasy residue on his hands with a napkin pulled from his pocket, wiped his mouth, and leaned against the front of a Lamborghini, quietly watching this minor incident that should not have occurred.

Watching Su Ni being pushed around like a ball by two large men, Lin Zifeng felt somewhat distressed.

Although the young policewoman’s character was commendable, her temperament was a bit fiery. However, it was exactly this kind of woman who often brought great surprises to men.

”Who the hell do you think you are? What does a petty suburban cop have to do with our business? Mind your own traffic problems, and stop poking your nose into others’ affairs like a busybody.”

As soon as the Buick owner saw Su Ni glaring and barking at him, he felt irritated.

Why should a lousy suburban cop interfere in his affairs? Who did she think she was? She should just mind her own business and stay out of the way. The suburban police should focus on their traffic duties instead of meddling in other matters. Isn’t that just idleness?

”Say that again and see what happens!”

Clearly, Su Ni was starting to get angry. If it had been against criminals, she could have handled them easily, but she felt somewhat powerless in these minor social disturbances.

After all, the duties and training were different.

”What? Oh! Do you want to hit someone?” At that moment, the Volkswagen owner also stepped forward and chimed in, seeing an attractive suburban cop join in, he did so with a teasing intent.

”What if I hit you?”

Being publicly mocked like that would be hard for any woman to endure, let alone for someone who was merely trying to break up a fight out of kindness.

”Oh! The suburban cop is hitting someone! The suburban cop is hitting someone!”

Su Ni stepped forward and with a swift military move, grabbed the Buick owner’s arm in her palm. Then, with a shake of her jade arm, a powerful force made the Buick owner scream in pain.

”The suburban cop is hitting someone! Come and see, the suburban cop is actually hitting someone!”

The Buick owner, far from subdued, emitted a scream like that of a slaughtered pig, drawing an even larger crowd of onlookers.

Su Ni cast a cold glance around, seeing the crowd pointing and whispering among themselves. Losing her patience, she quickly released the Buick owner’s arm, dismayed at how callous the world could be.

Her good intentions were met with disdain and misunderstanding, and under so many watchful eyes, surprisingly, no one stepped forward to speak well on her behalf.

”What’s so great about suburban cops? They think they can do whatever they want? Who do you think you are?” As the Buick owner exercised his arm, he began to grow arrogant again, and the Volkswagen owner also started joining in.

At this point, Su Ni was completely dumbfounded. Instead of being recognized as a good person, the blame was directed towards her. She wondered if running away would make her a laughing stock to others.

After all, Su Ni had graduated from a proper police academy; there was no way she could be defeated by such a difficulty.

Su Ni kept reassuring herself.

Just as she was preparing to adjust her mood and mediate again, the Buick owner, taking advantage of Su Ni’s momentary distraction, reached out his greedy hands towards Su Ni’s chest, seizing the chaos to commit his vile act.
