After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 800: Chapter 804: Do You Like Uncle Zimo?

At that time, they were joyfully preparing wedding gifts for the two, only to receive a call from Leng Lin. The old patriarch personally dined with them and informed them that the wedding was cancelled. At that moment, Leng Lin merely said that the couple had had a falling out, that Leng Zimo was deeply affected, and he urged them not to mention Luo Xiaoqian in front of Leng Zimo to avoid upsetting him further, yet he didn’t explain the real reason why Luo Xiaoqian had left.

For the past five years, they had deliberately avoided mentioning Luo Xiaoqian and anything related to the two of them, and they never knew what the true story behind it all was.

Yet, whenever they recalled the events that Luo Xiaoqian and Leng Zimo went through, they couldn’t help but sigh with emotion.

...

...

The car stopped outside the villa, and Luo Jun immediately unbuckled his seatbelt and got out.

Upon hearing his return, Luo Xiaoqian had already come downstairs to open the door and greet him.

”Mommy!” Luo Jun jumped out of the car and immediately ran over, grabbing her arm, ”Quick, crouch down, I have a gift for you.”

Luo Xiaoqian crouched down in confusion, upon which he puckered his lips and planted a firm kiss on hers.

”Is this your gift?” Luo Xiaoqian asked.

”This isn’t just any kiss,” Luo Jun said with a mysterious smile, ”this is a relay kiss.”

Luo Xiaoqian laughed, ”A relay kiss?”

”Yeah, I just kissed your idol, and now I’m passing it to you, which means you’ve also kissed him,” Luo Jun explained earnestly.

”My idol?” Luo Xiaoqian was perplexed, ”Who is it?”

”Leng Zimo,” Luo Jun suddenly remembered something and hurriedly turned to run towards the car, ”He even gave me a gift!”

Leng Zimo!

Luo Jun, he... he met Leng Zimo?!

Upon hearing that name, Luo Xiaoqian nearly collapsed to the ground, her legs turning weak.

Leng Zimo was not one to enjoy lively scenes, and she hadn’t expected him to attend Qin Wanwan’s birthday party.

Retrieving the record and the cake from the backseat, Luo Jun carried them over to Luo Xiaoqian, ”Look, this is the birthday present he gave me, Brahms’ First Symphony, and with this record, I’ll have a complete set. See here, I got his autograph too!”

Luo Xiaoqian took the record from his hands with trembling fingers and, in the light outside the door, indeed saw the familiar signature of Leng Zimo on the corner of the record sleeve, along with the words ”Happy Birthday, Mo Mo.”

The little guy spoke with palpable excitement, ”It’s incredible, this is the one record I was missing. Mommy, you’ve been looking for it for so long and couldn’t find it. I can’t believe he would give it to me... Oh right, Mommy, it’s not just from Uncle Zimo, lots of other uncles and aunties gave me gifts too...”

”Is that so!” Luo Xiaoqian fought to contain her emotions, returning to the living room with him. John helped carry the gifts upstairs, and she sat down on the couch with the little one, ”Do you... do you like Uncle Zimo?”

”Yeah!” Luo Jun nodded, ”He carried me upstairs when I was hurt.”

”Hurt?” Luo Xiaoqian immediately inspected him with concern, ”What happened?”

”It’s nothing serious, just a fight I had with another kid. His mom pushed me, and my head hit a wooden shelf.” Luo Jun noticed her worry and hurried to reassure her, ”Mommy, don’t worry, the doctor checked me and said I’m fine.”
