After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 786: Chapter 790: Familiar Two Letters

Xu Fei immediately struggled, ”Let me go, I am here to bid...”

Luo Xiaoqian sat in the back seat, watching the frustrated Xu Fei in the rearview mirror, remaining calm.

Xu Pei, don’t rush, all of this is just beginning!

...

...

Inside the car.

Leng Zimo’s gaze swept over the two assistants.

”Who is the opponent?”

He had seen Ailin’s plan and greatly appreciated her idea about warm music. Ailin, as a mother, also underwent a change in aura. This time, her music plan included very humanized designs, even taking into account the children among the customers.

Leng Zimo was curious about what kind of opponent could PK Ailin’s plan.

”It’s a new company mainly involved in music-related work. It’s been established for over three years, but its performance has risen quickly. They have partnerships with several major film and television companies, and last year, their work ’Tomorrow’ was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Score,” an assistant answered.

”Tomorrow”?!

Leng Zimo nodded slightly, ”So it’s them.”

There were a total of four films nominated for the Best Original Score at last year’s Oscars. Among them, ”Dragon and Snake,” a film independently produced by Emperor View and personally overseen by him, ultimately won the Academy Award. At that time, ”Tomorrow” was the most competitive rival to ”Dragon and Snake,” and even Leng Zimo himself admired the score of ”Tomorrow.”

”What’s the company’s name?”

”L&L!” the assistant replied.

”L&L?!”

”Yes, I remember this company. I think one of their assistants accepted an interview when they were nominated for the Oscars last year. They mentioned that the company name is an abbreviation for Love & Liability, representing love and responsibility.

L? L?

Leng Zimo savored the company’s name in his mind when suddenly a voice echoed in his memory.

...

”Would you like a name on the cake, sir?”

”Just write L&L.”

...

He couldn’t recall where he had heard these disjointed sentences, but his temples throbbed with pain once again.

”President Leng?!”

Seeing him raise his hand to his temple, both assistants looked over with concern.

Leng Zimo took out a small pill bottle from his pocket and fished out a painkiller.

”Water!”

An assistant immediately handed over water, and he took it, swallowing the painkiller. He relaxed his body against the back of the seat.

”President Leng, are you... all right?” the assistant asked worriedly.

”I’m fine.” Leng Zimo shook his head gently, ready to rest a bit, when his phone in his pocket rang.

He picked up the phone with a puzzled look and immediately answered the call when he saw the number displayed.

”Hello? Ruoruo?!”

”I’m not Ruoruo, I’m Princess Wanwan from Ruoruo’s family!” From the other end of the phone, Princess Wanwan’s sweet voice rang out, ”Uncle Zimo, do you miss me?”

Leng Zimo’s expression instantly relaxed, ”Of course.”

”Then you definitely won’t forget my birthday gift, right?” Qin Wanwan asked with a laugh.

”Of course not, I’ve already prepared it,” Leng Zimo answered with a smile.

”Just one?”

”Do you want two?”

”Yeah, because I met a new friend. He shares the same birthday as me, and he might celebrate with me. Uncle, you have to prepare a gift for him too, otherwise, if only I have a gift, he will definitely be sad.”
