After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 774: Chapter 778: Women Are Really Troublesome

The parents attending the open day looked at this delicately handsome little boy, smiling and applauding for him.

”Mo Mo, would you like to introduce yourself to everyone?” Tang Rui asked with a smile.

”Okay.” Luo Jun nodded, and Tang Rui stepped aside to sit down on the floor.

Glancing around the room, Luo Jun began to speak in a clear, steady voice, ”My name is Luo Jun, ’Luo’ as in Luoyang and ’Jun’ as in As Lofty Mountains. My English name is MOMO, and you can call me Mo Mo.”

The small boy, standing before a group of strangers, showed not a trace of timidity or unease. He introduced himself clearly, as calmly as a little star on the stage.

Everyone immediately applauded for him again.

”Which ’Jun’ from As Lofty Mountains is it?” asked a little girl in a white princess dress sitting not far from him, blinking a pair of big eyes curiously.

”Wanwan,” Huangfu Ruo smiled, steadying her daughter’s shoulders, ”Shall Mommy tell you?”

Such a complex character, such a young child surely wouldn’t know; she simply didn’t want Luo Jun to be embarrassed.

Contrary to her expectations, Luo Jun gazed at the little girl without being fazed by her question, ”The character for ’Jun’ includes the character for mountain, which represents very tall mountains. My mom said she wants me to grow up to be a man as staunch as a mountain, which is why she named me this.”

”Then you must become a giant, right?” Qin Wanwan blinked her large eyes, seemingly quite concerned about Luo Jun’s future, ”How big a house would you need?”

Luo Jun furrowed his little brow, ”You’re really silly, it’s a metaphor, it doesn’t mean I’m going to grow as tall as a mountain.”

Little Princess Qin Wanwan had always been a pampered jewel in everyone’s hands, and this time, being scolded in front of so many people, she immediately stood up, upset, and pointed at Luo Jun, ”You’re the silly one!”

Luo Jun returned her a disdainful glance and pursed his lips, ”Silly is silly, and you won’t even admit it.”

”You...” Little Princess Qin Wanwan’s lips pouted as tears began to well up in her big eyes, ”You... you’re a bully!”

”Wanwan.”

Huangfu Ruo reached out to hold her daughter, wishing to console her, but a nearby teacher gestured to her not to intervene, letting the two little ones sort out their issues on their own.

Reading the teacher’s gesture, Huangfu Ruo steeled her heart and returned to her seat.

Luo Jun, seeing the tear droplets on the eyelashes of Little Princess Qin Wanwan, scrunched up his brow and eventually stepped forward, pulling a handkerchief from his pocket and offering it to her.

Qin Wanwan sniffled, trying to hold back tears, unwilling to accept it.

Luo Jun’s brow creased, tempted to lose his temper, but seeing her look so wronged, he pursed his lips.

”Women are such a hassle.”

”You’re the hassle,” Qin Wanwan retorted, ultimately losing control of her emotions and starting to cry, ”It was you who scolded first, and now you’re calling me a hassle. You’re not a man.”

Luo Jun’s little brows knit even tighter, ”Okay, stop crying now.”

”Then apologize to me,” Qin Wanwan demanded, sniffing.

”I did nothing wrong, why should I apologize?” Luo Jun said, unconvinced.

”Scolding people is wrong, and kids who scold aren’t good children,” Qin Wanwan countered between sobs.

”That wasn’t scolding; that was telling the truth. You really are silly,” Luo Jun said.

Qin Wanwan cried even harder.

Watching her tears fall heavily down her face, Luo Jun also felt somewhat reluctant, but his nature was such that he wouldn’t apologize if he thought he wasn’t wrong. Just as everyone thought the situation was at a standstill, and the teacher had risen to intervene, Luo Jun had already started speaking again.

”Don’t cry, I can play the piano for you.”
