After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 771: Chapter 775: Long Live Her Royal Highness the Princess

”Mom will try to spend more time with you.” She reached across the table to pat his little head, pursed her lips, and finally made up her mind, ”There hasn’t been much work these past two days, so why don’t we buy a house here and then ask Uncle Mike to help you transfer to a kindergarten, okay?”

”Long live Her Royal Highness the Princess,” Luo Jun cheered immediately.

Because Luo Xiaoqian’s English name was the same as Princess Qianqian, the little guy often called his mom by Her Royal Highness the Princess as well.

Watching the little guy jump for joy, Luo Xiaoqian also laughed, ”Good, eat up. After dinner, I’ll take you to Wangfujing for a stroll, and then we’ll go to Fulong Temple for some snacks, okay?”

”Can Uncle Mike go house hunting first?” the little guy asked eagerly.

”Sure,” Luo Xiaoqian smiled and agreed.

”Oh, that’s great, I can live here in the future.” The little guy excitedly held up his juice, ”Cheers.”

Luo Xiaoqian extended her glass and gently clinked it with his, ”Cheers.”

After dinner, mother and son took a car to Wangfujing, and Luo Xiaoqian instructed Mike to help her look for a house and arrange for Luo Jun’s kindergarten.

After briefly asking her for some requirements, Mike left, and Luo Xiaoqian, escorted by two bodyguards, arrived on Wangfujing Street.

The little guy was not interested in the tall buildings but had a special fondness for the little trinkets filled with Chinese flair, looking here and there, often curiously asking Luo Xiaoqian what this and that were, and what they were used for...

Seeing a stall selling candied haws, the little guy could not move a step further.

Usually, Luo Xiaoqian did not allow him to eat too many snacks after meals, but this time, she took the initiative to buy several candied haws, not only for them to eat but also for the two bodyguards, each holding a skewer and biting into it.

Luo Jun, munching on a candied haw, asked her, ”Mom, the edible and playable sugar figures you mentioned last time, do they have them here?”

”That...” Luo Xiaoqian thought for a while, ”I’ll take you to a place to look for them.”

Leaving the snack area, she took him directly to the basement of the New Dong’an Market.

After asking passersby, the two of them followed the directions and headed towards the stalls in the northwest corner.

However, before they found the sugar figures, Luo Xiaoqian had already seen a familiar sign—”Unconstrained.”

Looking at the familiar sign and the various sizes of clay figurines inside, Luo Xiaoqian suddenly froze, and in a daze, she seemed to see again the scene when Leng Zimo had brought her here.

Luo Jun saw her stop and, curious, entered the store. Seeing the old man at the table molding clay figurines, he curiously walked over. Watching the man swiftly shape a piece of clay into a big-bellied Luohan, he couldn’t help but exclaim in amazement.

”Do you like it?” Luo Xiaoqian followed him inside. ”Shall Mom buy one for you?”

”I want to buy two for my good friend Mina. You pay for me first, Mom, and I’ll pay you back when we go home,” the little guy said earnestly.

”Alright, go pick them out.” While he chose, Luo Xiaoqian stood up and looked at the clay figurines on the shelf. Noticing a small doll dressed in Tang attire, she naturally paused.

...

”I don’t want anything else, just Luo Xiaoqian!”

...

The words Leng Zimo had said to her holding a little clay figurine five years earlier naturally came to mind. Luo Xiaoqian subconsciously reached out to take that figurine and placed it next to the two clay figurines that Luo Jun had picked out.

”Is Mom giving it to someone?” Luo Jun asked.

Luo Xiaoqian gently shook her head, ”No, Mom’s keeping it for herself.”
